Very nice locks. Has original metal bridge as well, with newer planks. It has two pavilions and a nice pond to fish in.

Its peaceful and beautiful, although, you can still see the hustle and bustle on the highway.....reminds me that you CAN have PEACE in a crazy and busy world that we all live in! ENJOY the park COSHOCTON! Be thankful that we have it! And dont forget to show your appreciation to Jim McCurdy, that takes great care of it!

This canal town is restored in 1830s. This was a busy town when the Ohio and Erie Canal was bustling with Canal boats. There are places to visit like museums and exhibits, and experience a horse-drawn canal boat ride. You will see an engineering marvels of the canal and prosperity of the city until the great flood in 1913. Eventually when the railroads started to build up, this canal city came to decline. Nice areas for picnic and walking and shopping.

Interesting little park area with historic significance. The locks are interesting and accessible. There are no railings next to some significant drops. Would be careful if taking small, curious children with you.
