The sand is super soft. The climbing ropes and slides were a bit old for my 2 year old to do alone, but with help she had fun. I cant wait for her to get a little older to enjoy it more on her own.

The Central Park has been a go to stop for us with our toddler. Lots of thing to play for a lil one. That is the reason that this place draws a lot of kids and is busy with people in the evening. Sometimes scare us to go during COVID-19 times as it’s not very much possible to be socially distant from people for the lil one more than us.Kids love this place.

Had a great time here at the Harvest Festival. The food was good, the people were great and there were more booths then I can count. My personal favorite was the hand made soap one, Elizabeth Stewart Soaps. She had more kinds and scents then I could imagine and all of them at a great price.Found this doll in one of the many booths there.

Parents beware. This is a busy hangout for the homeless community. Ive seen many unsafe situations I was uncomfortable with even without a child present.

Ta
Review №11

I don’t view homeless people as a problem. I won’t get into the social aspects here etc. but it is an issue here with them approaching you and just being rowdy in general. However, they usually just keep to themselves. The good parts? The city of Corvallis does a great job of keeping the park clean and safe. It’s next to the library and the Arts Center. It’s a place where kids can play and feel safe. We go here to meditate sometimes before we go into the library. All things considered it’s a great park.

Have loved this park since I was a kid and I love taking the kids I work with here. The only reason I ding it one star is because of the homeless population roaming about and the lack of a really good slide. Great for mostly all ages above 2.

No reason to take your kids here. The bums pretty much have taken over. Cant sit on the benches or use the open areas because people are sleeping there. Second hand smoke covers the playground area.

Beautiful space, with beautiful, historic buildings across the street. We enjoyed the flowers, bushes and walking paths. Several young children and preschool groups were having a blast playing on the grass together in the fresh air and sunshine.

Nice park, beautiful flowers, right downtown. Has benches, playground, a gazebo. Too many homeless, though measures have been taken to discourage them from misbehaving in the park.

My kids love it, but they show clean up the drug usage and the stuff left piled in the playground area sand, a few kids have stepped on glad and found things no kids or teenagers should ever see. I understand homelessness and not being homeless but its no excuse to leave trash and other things there.

Excellent space, one corner has a playground, many events use it. Oddly enough I have no conscious memory of an actual restroom for regular use, only portapotties brought in for special events... I could be wrong (as implied by not having conscious memory of...) lolIt would be a wonderful gesture towards a truce in the war against the displaced members of our society, to have restrooms around town that were open 24/7... As someone whos not homeless yet (knocks on wood) I too have discovered that I have a bladder post show (wee hrs of the morning) & had nowhere to go, with no hope of making it to an establishment open 24 hrs. Just sayin

Nice park with decent play structure and a fun playground wagon to play on. Its right across the street from the library, a great area to spend an afternoon in. 4 stars because there was a lot of homeless people in the park...they werent bothering anybody, but it made me feel less secure with my kids there.

An open place in the middle of the downtown. The play structure for kids isnt very much. they have two statues, one terrific, the other very modern and contemporary. They have a modern art museum on the south side (formerly a church) and a band shell, which they use for concerts in the summer

There are four Poké gyms plus another 3-4 pokéstops within range of this small park! Not for that reason alone, this is a very high-traffic area, with lots of people walking pets, riding bikes, jogging, and just hanging out. It seems like whenever Im walking by here theres always a family or two with kids playing on the jungle gym. The Corvallis Public Library is just across the street from this park, too. Poké trainers, avid readers, dog walkers, and stroller pushers will all enjoy this space!
