A surprising well presented museum. Covid precautions taken. Plenty of guides who where like listening to a living history of military history. The main building was warm, inviting and well laid out. I did feel bad for Norm in the separate tractor barn, it was bone cold in there. Norm was an actual user, owner and restoration expert of tractors and other farm machinery who shared his expertise in an easy and enjoyable format.

Just got back from the Civil War weekend and it was beyond awesome. From the blacksmith to the field surgeon nothing beats a good Civil war reenactment. $10. for an adult to get in. They have a military museum, train and tractor display, and the staff was very nice and knowledgeable.

Exceptional museum with so much history to look at! This place is immaculate with a stream of caring and loving volunteers that run this place day to day. If you want a fun day trip, make sure you check this place out! It is great for any age group. While you are there, check out the local lakes, breweries, and quaint shops. Homer, NY village is just down the road, and Homer Hops is a new brewery within 3 miles of the museum.

Where to start, the Homeville portion of the museum is awesome, all the military history you can absorb starting from the Revolution to Afghanistan, great exhibits of Central New York veterans, Also a HUGE steam train replica coming through the wall, amazing detail and lots of fun. The Brockway truck exhibits are one of a kind, really enjoyed the restored old trucks!! The Tractors of Yesteryear (TOYS) venue was great fun and brought back great memories of rural life in upstate NY from the earliest tractors to tractors from the 60s......this place was great fun and a worthwhile stop on our trip through upstate NY....well worth it.
