I came for one of their dances. It was supposed to be all outside, but the thunder and pouring rain came in 10 minutes before start. So they brought us all inside and started it there while they waited for the weather to clear. It was great.

A very nice open space. We watched native American dances and listened to singing. Very educational. The sun comes down on the right side of the space so its bright when the sun is setting.

I really like Cortez. Not nearly as posh and snobby like other Colorado cities. Much more down to earth.

Native American dancers six evenings each week, except Sunday. Well-designed amphitheater with a view of a stunning Pueblo-themed mural on the centers back wall. There are other programs offered there, a gallery, and a gift shop.

A nice and informative place to visit. Regional activities that really give visitors a taste of the tribal activities that we locals tend to take for granted.
