Loved the way the place looked. Being able to take a walk on the pier was so relaxing. No noises from above or below our room at night and... everything was perfect.

Its a nice place to stay access to the water off the back. They have a really nice pool,lighted fishing dock,with a cleaning table. You can catch a variety of fish speckled trout, red fish,. If we can come back in the future well be back!

Beautiful place and friendly people. I come back year after year! 3 minutes from the beach and located on Lake Padre. A fishermans paradise.

Great location! We loved our 2 bedroom rental here. The deck behind the pool was a huge hit with my kids. We fished late into the night over the underwater lights. This place has a fish cleaning station with running water, too!Plan your grocery runs and go back to Corpus. We overpaid hundreds at the dollar store for convenience.

Totally chill. Small, fully stocked units. Sweet pool and jacuzzi on the channel.

Best place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. Worth the yearly price of $625 for a deeded week. And if you want to come down any other time during the year its only $250 for a week stay (if a room is available). And these are fully furnished one bedroom apartments, washers and dryers in each room,heated pool, hot tub, free WiFi, outdoor grills, great local restaurants and bars. All you need are your personal items and groceries (if you want to cook your own meals). Check out the website. Look under available units and then available units for sale. Reference my name when you buy a unit. Hurry, the transfer fee listed is being temporarily waved, maybe through the end of 2018.

Had to cancel my vacation because La Casa Del Sol denied access to the resort for my service dog. The information and certification they requested is not required by the ADA. (American Disibility Act)UPDATE: My mother has now forfeited her ownership at this resort due to their denial of access for my service dog. Even though their website states that they abide by ADA Guidelines board member Mr Jim Vanetta denied access to my service dog and stated that because they are a privately owned facility ADA guidelines do not apply to La Casa Del Sol.

Cozy,family oriented and simply great!

La Casa Del Sol has a relaxing atmosphere, an intimate setting, nearby access to the beach, beautiful gardening on the property, and a dock with a scenic view overlooking a lagoon. This place is peaceful and perfect for families. My family and I are enjoying ourselves and truly calling our stay here a vacation.

It is an older two story RCI property with a fishing dock & pier along with a small pool that has grills and tables with umbrellas. Very nicely landscaped and well kept with friendly helpful personnel. Have stayed here a few times and have always enjoyed my stays.

Will be staying here again!! We are already planning our next vacation :) Beautiful weather!!! They have board games and movies you can use. And if you dont have a fishing rod you can always rent one off of them. My husband got one for $3 for a day. And we got bate at the gas station for $5.Inside you have everything you may ever need in your own house. We just went to HEB for groceries :) everything went smoothly here :)

Nice little timeshare on Padre Island. Units are somewhat dated, but that is made up for by a friendly staff and a great recreational area that includes a nice hot tub/pool with grills, as well as two lighted docks for 24h fishing.Ill really have to get back here more often than once every ten years!

Nice quiet and relaxing, however, bed was very uncomfortable. Futher, I think they need some upgrades to make the experience better. Great WiFi service. Would stay again if the bed was upgraded from a spring mattress to a pillow top or gel...

I was in one of the new updated units which is very nice and coming here for many years and thoroughly enjoyed our visits. Its quiet, were usually not bothered by anyone we can come and go as we like and staff has been very gracious.

Very quaint and extremely quiet! Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Large living room, bedroom, in unit washer/dryer and kitchen, and 2 TVs. Close to everything! One block over to the beach with public access and parking. Plenty of places to eat from Whataburger to Docs Seafood. Half an hour from the international airport. Great fishing just minutes away. We were there for a week with my in-laws and had a blast! Not brand new models, but well kept ... 4 Stars!

I have stayed at La Casa many times and have found it to be a relaxing and peaceful place to stay when vacationing on North Padre Island. With the new Schlitterbahn being built on N. Padre, the value of La Casa will increase. If your looking for a nice vacation time share, call and get a list of available units.
