I’m a french target shooter, I was invited to this shooting range to try out some weapons. This shooting range is really big with lots of shooting stands. The environment is nice and the welcome too. I had a great time there. I hope to be able to return there one day. In the meantime, I proudly wear my CCGC cap

A very big and wide open space. Professionally run. The rifle range is particularly nice. The pistol range is not air conditioned but is still a blast. No pun intended.

Thankfully they are very strict about the rules, makes it a safe enjoyable experience. Staff is awesome, always friendly and knowledgeable. This is premium facility, and a membership is a privilege.

I dont even know where to start with this place. Been a member there for a while now and every time I go out there its something else with these people. Management is terrible. These are some of the rudest, most inconsiderate, nagging, unintelligent, micromanaging people i have ever come across. I have been to multiple gun ranges all over Texas and have never had a bad experience until going here. Its not just one time, its every time I go!!! I have to say the facilities are nice but i dont know if they warrant having to deal with these people. I will for forfeiting the remainder of my membership as I will not be returning unless they replace everyone working here. All I can say to anyone that is considering becoming a member is to go out there as a guest and experience this for yourself before considering joining. I will probably continue to write negative reviews to make sure my voice is heard. I do apologize about ranting but I just feel that this place could be awesome with the right people behind the desk.

The facilities are 5 star!!! The staff is 1 star so overall rating of 3. More often than not, when I interact with the staff they are rude and demeaning. Been a member for 3 years now and the members Ive interacted with are all friendly and pleasant. The staff, not so much.

Was a member 12 years ago while on a project in Corpus. Skeet and Trap were fine. The 5 Stand was lousy and no one wanted any positive input from someone who knew something about sporting clays. Went back after they got some promatics and they changed it up some but a AA in the top five of the First Team couldn’t have broke a 15/25. Offered some input but was turned down. No problem. I hope the new sporting clay Course and 5 Stands have some professional guidance in the initial set up and takes the advice to heart and continues on with it. This is positive feedback as I want it to succeed as “well” as the effort that was put forth towards the Skeet and Trap Venues. Although some hours away I would make the trip for some NSCA Tournaments if things are tuned up right. Once again this is not negative and would love to revise my review to give it a 5 Star Rating. Good Luck Gentleman and hope to see you this year!

How many outdoor gun ranges can you say are clean, well maintained, and family oriented. They do enforce a list of safety rules that pertains to everyone. Bring the family for a day of fun and shooting.

Best place in town without a doubt. Member owned, and the people who shoot out there for the most part keep the place in good shape. The members are also always friendly and helpful. Ive met many friends at the range and continue to make new ones. Not something you get at one of the lousy indoor ranges. If you join, please take your trash with you when you leave or throw it away! Thanks.

This is the best place and the best deal in town for shooting. You do have to pay an annual membership fee and take a safety orientation before becoming a member and having access to the ranges. This is an outdoor range that has a rifle only range, pistol only range, mixed individual ranges, and shotgun trap/skeet. Available to members 7 days a week sunrise to sunset.

The web site leaves something untold - you Can Not shoot there if you are not a member. You can shoot shotgun, but not pistol or rifle. This leaves the Starry range as the only rifle range available to non-members in Corpus Christi. The people are nice enough. You can join - if you know two members who will vouch for you - tell em you are not a wack-o. But if you are new to the area you might as well go elsewhere...kinda hard to meet members if you arent allowed in the place.m

I am a experienced skeet shooter from san antonio and as soon as we approached the desk the service was very rude. We constantly had someone breathing down our back and correcting our shooting. They were concerned we were going to shoot the side walk we stood on and the cement Clay thrower, we never once shot even near the thrower and definitely not the ground. Not to mention he also said to not shoot the ground out where the clays are thrown because there are buried ground wires, WHY WOULD YOU PUT GROUND WIRES IN THE FIELD?! Also we were very quiet when shooting and these advanced voice activated throwers threw at least an extra 6 birds a round just from the sound of ejecting a shell from the gun. I will never return to such rude service that charges 10 dollars for 25 clays and 6 are wasted.

Great range with public access for trap, skeet, and 5 stand. The private rifle and pistol section has numerous bays and a 200 yard rifle range.

I have been a CHL Instructor for about 18 months and have always used this facility for my classes to qualify my CHL students.. But after the way I was treated the last time I was out there, will be the LAST time I ever set foot on this place. The counter staff were extremely RUDE not only to myself but a few of my students. They seem to cater to their own instead of being courteous to other instructors. So I will take my money and spend it else where.

The Corpus Christi Rifle Club is probably the most disorganized business that I have ever dealt with. After applying for membership and having my check cashed, I was never contacted to schedule an introductory meeting. After two months of phone-tag, I finally drove 30 minutes to try and find someone to help me. Finally, after scheduling the meeting, I arrived in the morning to find that the trainer had been sent home since I was the only person - but no one told me that until I arrived. Save your money.

The rim fire pistol covered shooting area could have their backboards changed more often. It gets to the point that stapling targets to the back boards becomes difficult on a regular basis.
