First time in Myrtle Beach so we booked 2 course package with Founders Group golf courses. Saw the reviews for Burning Ridge and thought we will take a chance. Not disappointed glad we came out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Green great shape and roll true and good pace. Nice tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Played 18 in 31/2 hours had the course to ourselves. Nice driving range and practice area. I would come back again. Only thing is the carts paths are very bumpy.... But besides that great course

Burning ridge is in great shape and fast play.

Course was in very good shape. Sand traps were even raked. Tubes in holes, staff friendly. Greens were good. Enjoyed our round.

My wife and I played this under-rated gem today. I found the track to be both challenging and very enjoyable. The architect does a great job shaping the holes with mounding which makes the tee shots for those who havent played the course before more apparent in terms of where you need to land the ball. Fairways and tee boxes were good and the greens rolled true. Conditions were great for having as much rain as we had recently. While it was cart paths only today, there were very few spots where it was muddy which meant for the most part, you could play the ball down. Ill go back here again! We very much enjoyed the layout.

Only used the driving range, but what I could see of the course looked as if it was in good shape.

Awesome coarse friendly from the club house to the starters, they load your cart and get you all set up, the coarse itself was well maintained from the fairways to the greens. A great place for a full eighteen in. I felt out of the seven days of golfing in Myrtle Beach that Burning Ridge was one of our group of 4’s favourite courses.️️️️️

Played there today. I live across Myrtle Trace Dr. Course was in great shape. The greens putted great! Will recommend to everyone I talk to. Am thinking about becoming a member! Hidden gem!

For a low/medium priced golf course in Myrtle, great choice. They care about the experience, and it shows.

Great Course! Well run- The greens and fairways are in fine shape. The course is player friendly and allows for creativity from the fairway and the rough. Good value all around. Kudos to the greens keeper and the staff.

Cart paths and greens extremely bumpy with craters you could loose a wheel in. High price for golf. Nothing special.

Course is in great shape.

Played during the off season, so the rates were very affordable. Course has a challenging layout and well-maintained. Note that there are some blind shots and they mark the water hazards in the fairway with flags. So, there was some confusion where you were hitting to. Call the clubhouse direct to discuss tee time options.

Great Layout, great greens ,good prices. Worst Cart Paths in the Myrtle Beach Area !

From the moment you pull onto the property, you are met with respectful and knowledgeable staff. The starter/attendant meets you at the club drop off area and gets your clubs out of the trunk. Dimitri was very helpful in the clubhouse. Ask for the specials - got a pair of shoes for 15-30% off. Our twosome was added with another twosome - great guys. The course was in very nice shape. Two greens were showed 50% damage while the others had minimal damage. The greens rolled slowly but true. We enjoyed the layout; fair and challenging. We will definitely be back to this gem even if the we did play under the cart path only rule due to heavy night.

NOW .... the fairways & greens have never been so good! I felt like I was playing a PGA Tour course. I play all around Myrtle Beach, around the Country & I have played many of the most prestigious courses around the world including Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines, Kapalua, Bethpage Black, etc. & 2day Burning Ridge was comparable in conditioning! I am astounded that I am even saying that, but hats off to the Superintendent & Maintenance crew! Very impressive!

5+ hours to complete the round. A gentleman that worked there said they had over 200 golfers booked for today. Was cartpath only, which is understandable but the ranger was riding freely over the tee boxes and fairways just to shoot the breeze with his colleagues. Not cool. Despite the rain course in very good shape!

Awesome course and in great condition. Staff was very friendly. We arrived 30 minutes early for our tee time and the marshall got us off early ahead of a large group. Greens and fairways were in excellant condition. Will definitely put this on my must play list every time in Myrtle.

The course is in good shape but they are sending off a group every 8 minutes, so we were waiting on every single hole. Not a real pleasant round.

Played in mid-Sep 2016, early morning start, staff was friendly, course was in excellent shape, the day was very hot but lots of shade on the course, finished round within 4hrs. Most enjoyable round. Tee Rate @$39.00 very reasonable. plan to play again in Nov.

Visited here in early April 2016. We had a early morning tee time, no waiting around play moved along nicely. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Weather was not the greatest but the course was in great shape. Fun challenging course. Im a 10 and my playing partner was a 15 we both found the course fair and had a great time. Not a course that I can overpower, requires shot making and strategy. Look forward to my next trip.

Their cart service people could do much better. Early morning helpers were not very excited to be helping.

7/8/2016Threesome teed off before 8:00. Teed off on time, but was not offered range balls when checking in (which is almost always included at golf courses hosting vacationers). Course is in decent shape but could be better. Fairways were mostly good except for a few spots (on every hole) here and there where the grass was just burnt up. Greens were in good shape and rolled true. Fun course to play for shot-makers. Paid $43 on a special online rate. I would pay $43 to play her but not the full price of $71 unless some the above mentioned issues were resolved.

Course was in great shape, pro shop had a lot to offer but they definitely arent fans of online tee times. Our round was ruined by the course ranger who has absolutely no idea what he is doing. With the next group being two full holes behind us he has the nerve to come up to us and ask us if we see anyone ahead of us. We tell him no, and in a rude manner he replys theres a reason, you guys need to pick it up. Claiming he has afternoon tee times he has to get through and blah blah blah even though the next group finished FOUR holes behind us, he decided to speak with us. Anyways like I previously stated, golf course was in great shape but they need to look for a new ranger. Hes going to get himself hurt talking to people the way we were treated today.

The course was very wet and does not seem to have effective drainage. This meant cart path only! Our round was almost 6 hours waiting on every tee and in the fairway. There were no player assistants on course to encourage the pace of play. Twosomes behind us were quitting. We started at 10:56 and did not finish until 4:50.The course layout is great and the greens are challenging to read. Other than being wet, the course was in good shape.

Great course

First of all the conditions on this course are some of the best Ive ever seen. Ive played sawgrass, copperhead, World woods... this is comparable. The reason I rated it a 4 is the pace of play was atrocious! Major overbooked and poor course player management. We quit after 9 due to the 5-10 minute wait per hole. If you have 5.5 hours then this is a 5 star course, trust me.

Have played at Burning Ridge half a dozen times since early November and have found the course in great shape, staff friendly and, generally, had a great experience. I will be back!
