Easy to see from the main highway and a large parking area. Right on the river. Lots of green space picnic grounds and frisbee golf. Well maintain grass was well cut no trash. Looks like a real safe area. It was my first time here and I enjoyed it and will come back. I highly recommend this to anyone.

What a lovely visit. Thank you! They have really kept up with this park. The San Jacinto River was down to sandy down. Which allowed me to water the river bottom. Great way to clear ones thoughts while taking in fresh air and exploring.

Beautiful Park!!! My daughter was so happy to find a tree that was perfect for climbing. Walking trails and the Pavillion was so clean!

Great place for kids!

The area is nice but they dont have water for pets and the fountains dont work. Hopefully its only temporary. I know I have been before and it was all working. I would love to see picnic benches or steel benches by the creek. Its nice for animals to cool off

Beautiful and peaceful park to take a walk or a run. Some parts are a little scary for a lone walker but the park provides good hiking trails. It is always nice seeing other families and little children playing around, it brings a lot of life to the park!

Creek is nice, walk down path to it.

Has soccer fields, golf course, trails, and childrens playground. It gets very crowded and people dont social distance or wear masks.

This park is great! Ive been going there since I was a teen and its got so many new things now, the disk golf course is my favorite! The workout station is also really great.

We visited here to get some walking in after knee surgery. the purpose was to walk on uneven surface so we did not use the path around the park. we got some good exercise and hopefully stayed out of the way of the Frisbee golf teams coming thru. The park is nice, family and dogs are well suited with the paths, game areas of basketball, horse shoes and wide areas for picnics and kids to run and play.

Its a great small park that the whole family can enjoy. It features a disk golf course that extends across the entirety of the park without interfering with the rest of the parks functions. The walking paths feature an inner and outer loop, with the outer loop taking you by a stream, which usually flowed well, but can drop low and become stationary during dry times. Has a large pavilion that is next to a basketball court and soccer field. Most of the paths are well shaded and well maintained. Note. One of the disk golf holes is almost hidden in a patch of trees

McDade is a great place to take your kids. It has multiple fields to choose from, and beautiful scenery along the trail. It has bathrooms to use that are pretty clean and plenty of tables and bleachers to sit at. My only dislike about it is that the playground isnt meant for younger kids, like 2 year olds. My son still had fun and I took my daughter here a lot when she was younger as well but its not like some other karks that have a baby playground and one for older kids. I still love it though!

Great park with decent shade and a lot of amenities: soccer fields, basketball court, horseshoes, sand volleyball, a workout station, a playground, a covered pavilion, disc golf course, a walking path all the way around, and access to the river which is nice and sandy. My dogs had a blast going down there and playing in the water.

Love this little local park. Always see the disc golf course used. Basketball court busy. I love how the park is so fitness minded for one person or a group. It even has a BBQ grill for event 2 picnic tables. Wish horseshoes were more popular, the regulation pits here would be great for neighborhood tourneys.

Has a very nice disc golf course that is well laid out, with concrete tees, and good signage. Could use arrows to next tee in a few spots, however. Also has a practice basket. A good course for beginners.

This place is awesome!! It has several activities you can do there. The disc golf course is so big! Ive been to the disc course twice so far, and Ive already improved so much since I started. The disc golf players there are friendly! Ive definitely got some good pointers from several players. My friends definitely come together alot more since we have discovered this park! They need a water fountain!!!!

Nice trail and workout equipment.

This is a fun course to play. Most holes are easily playable. Only holes 17&18 make it almost impossible to reach 3 shot par. Bonus is goo parking lots of other disc golfers to socialize with.

Really nice park with much shade. There is a basketball court, soccer goals, disk golf, walking trails, a nice playground with swings, a pavilion and some exercise machines. The restrooms are not too bad for a public park. There is many parking spots in the shade which is a plus. This park is very family friendly and safe. There are many mature trees all around.

Large paved sidewalk around the perimeter that takes you around the disc golf course, along the San Jacinto river, by the playground, horseshoe pits, restrooms, and soccer fields. Theres also a large covered picnic pavilion. You can also hike down along the river, if its not flooded.

Right on the historic san jacinto river i grew up on, and the disc golf course is good too cant beat the hiking areas and me and my daughter have enjoyed it a few times and i will always remember it fondly also bonnie and clyde bridge is right across fm2854 from mcdade park what a cool historic sight

What a great little park right by the San Jacinto river! Nice walking trail, frisbee golf, basketball courts, soccer fields, picnic tables... I like to stop by with my lunch, sit in the shade and enjoy watching families and friends gather, or well walk along the river with our puppy. Its a convenient location too.

A really nice park / playground with a picnic shelter, restrooms, and a playground for kids. The grounds are well kept, there is adequate parking and the large shade trees give plenty of protection from the summer sun. Its a bit out of town but worth the trip.

This park is well taken care of and is pretty big compared to the other parks in Conroe. They have all sorts of activity spots including a fairly large playground for the kids. It gets a little crowded at times. Great place for frisbee golf!
