Its a wonderful place beautiful lake shallow area you would love it

Used to be a lot nicer. Always beer cans and bottles with other trash and the lake is a weird green

The park is lovely but it needs to be clean. Garbage needs to be picked up. The lake is filthy and there are plenty of ducks and geese. It would be nice if it was cleaned occassionally.

The Canadian geese need their own area and some are in need of medical attention. They are dependent on the humans who come and feed them breadand such instead of the food they usually forage on in the large fields and farmlands.They poop everywhere!!! The water is not clean. They need more ariation and clean up the debre in the water.It was nicer a few years back. The kids playground area has been redone and is now an enclosed area.This park has so much potential overall.

Need more garbage cans with instructions on how to use them. Job security for City employees who do a good job trying to keep up with those who dont know how to use debris cans thinking that is what the Park & streets are for. Enforcement issue. We need to take our park back.

The geese and seagulls own this park. Poop everywhere! If you dont mind that, theres a fun little playground for 12 and under and a sidewalk around the whole lake.

Simply Gorgeously beautiful.. with lovely ducks and birds i enjoy while feeding them :)

Was very dirty lots of vagrants and water had a lot of trash floating in it.

Dirty , it looks like nobody takes care of it. Usually smell of marijuana is felt the minute you walk near. Not clean most of the time. Homeless are around as well. Water lake looks stagnant and dirty.

Overall, a fine park. The only problem is this is now where folks go to get drunk and stoned. I have seen somebody light up a crack pipe, lots of empty beer cans next to fishing poles

Its a Wonderful Park its great place to take your kids theres a ton of things to do I saw mentions from another reviewer that he thought drugs were sold here that cannot and is not true Concord Police would be so all over that because of all the children that are there so I dont know what that other reviewer was talking about but its a terrible thing to say without proof. You might not want to post all of this part but I just thought I would like to correct that it has just a million things to do there for kids baseball take making Its a Wonderful part that Ive known my whole life I dont have to have been there I know the park

Lots of geese. okay but not much to it.

Between algae green water and gooss poop everywhere I dont know what was better. Homeless people on the side of the park are at least friendly. There is a nice walking path around the pond, just steer clear of the geese and said homeless people. There is a playground and free parking as well, it was very convenient.

This park is tiny. There is some greenery however the lake is very tiny, dirty, and murky unfortunately from litter. It has a decent childrens playground and thats about it.

I walk by the Ellis Lake several times a week. Today, 6/20/2018, I decided to enjoy the heat and sunshine while walking around the lake geese watching, Relaxing and peaceful meditation at many viewing spots round the lake. It is peceful and quiet. Please remember that geese are wild animals and they will attack if threatened (mainly chasing you or alerting there flock of possible dangers.) Bird watching and fishing take place at the lake as well. There is a kids playground behind Monument House. A new kids play area is being built on the NE corner of the lake. The entire lake has a concrete path. At various times on some days you might find possible drug sales. Early morning or dusk seem to be this might happen. There is not rampant drug use or sales, but once in a while you may come across a drug deal or quiet a few homeless people. I have found both groups are harmless and they keep their dealings quiet and inconspicuous. Overall, it is a beautiful spot to spend an afternnon alone, with friends or families and tour little ones. It is a nice spot for a picnic.

Floral, Gardens playground, suitable for picnic, couples likes this place. If you want fresh air and nature feeling this is the place for you.

A very nice, shaded and calm green space and lake thats been ruined by the overcrowding and apartment dwellers that litter and loiter everywhere. Lake water is dirty, park is poorly maintained, dog poop everywhere and theres always beggars, thugs, shady characters and low class people or crazy bad and loud kids running everywhere. Not really recommended.

The place is wonderful, but it is a little dangerous because you can see people selling pot there and they look at you as if you werent welcome to the place.Security is very poor... I didnt see any police around there.

Really dirty park, garbage everywhere and geese poop. The water looks sickeningly dirty and they allow fishing which is messed up. I ran around the lake a few times and saw a kick peeing in the water. Maybe they need more trash cans and a public restroom too
