Ive never taken a class or seen this building. Im leaving this review because in my life I met a man who I later found to be on the board of this organization. He filled a scary time with wonder and song for me and a friend, he gave us a little hope amid current crisises. If this man is a representative of this organization, then I can only say this place must be doing something really right, and really important.

We saw Fences tonight at the Umbrella. What an engaging play performed by a great team of hard working actors! We also loved the up close and personal experience of the black box.

The beautifully renovated and expanded Umbrella Arts Center is simply stunning! It has so much to offer across the arts. A state-of-the-art new 350 seat theatre (with a remote orchestra pit and amazing sound) would give Boston theatres a run for their money. And the Umbrella has taken full advantage of this new space to launch a professional theatre company! The talent on display in productions like Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Tuck Everlasting, 42nd Street, and 100 Days is mind-blowing. What a gem to have right here in our neighborhood!Visual Arts has also taken center stage, with beautifully renovated studios for the resident artists and a spacious new gallery right in the heart of the building. Open Studios in April and a Winter Market in December are great opportunities to meet the resident artists - and rotating exhibits in the main gallery always have something beautiful to offer.Look for film and music on both the main stage and the more intimate black box theatre. And if youre looking to reconnect with the arts - dozens of classes offer everything from pottery, to drawing/painting, to multimedia and digital arts, and more. What a phenomenal place!

So neat are inside and outdoors has plenty of events. I went for the second annual big tiny house festival of which there were multiple houses on display and many vendors of different things. Bonus of live music.

Creativity shines thru here. Historic location is currently being renovated along with an additional building to house artistic performances. Local artists along with professional photographers Mr. Pierre Chiha & Ms. Gabriel Chiha provide unique works of art. Nestled in the heart of historic Concord, this is a must see place for locals & tourist. If youre visiting Boston, be sure to reserve time for this site in Concord, MA. Note that at the time of this posting, (June 2018) there is on going construction. Call ahead for updates on visiting hours. Local artists & photographers will be temporarily housed in other areas for the summer of 2018.

Easy to get to, ample parking, cute little theater and arts space in a converted middle school. I know its hard/expensive, but they are seriously overdue to replace the seat cushions, I was extremely uncomfortable for the entire show because the cushion went completely flat the moment i sat on it (tried other seats as well with minimum success)

No communication that plays were moved to an annex theater during renovations. Not even signs at the theater directing patrons to the alternate location.
