Ive been going here since I was a kid and now have the pleasure of bringing my daughter. Just like me she does different activities here like basketball, tennis, track, soccer, etc. This allows me tho keep her busy and she enjoys it. The staff had been here look term and are dedicated to the children they serve.

Great park, but be cautious after dark.

Great Place. Just recently they redid the gym so it looks all brand new and shiny.

This is a wonderful City Park, huge. They have a recreational building with different classes to take. They have a pond that you can fish in. Lots of playgrounds for the kiddos. And lots of people walk their dogs as long as you have them on a leash. A basketball court inside and out. And a free live play Outdoors Thursday through Sunday. Each month is a new play. Its totally free but donations are its totally free but donations are welcome.

The park is beautiful, not so keen on the staff and facilities of the rec center. On August 11, 2018 there was a effort to hold a memorial service on the grounds of the park. The weather was not cooperative we requested access to utilize the recreation center on short notice for the purpose of the restroom, and possibly a community room. The staff was curt and un-accommodating for the needs of the group. I won’t recommend renting from the facility for my own personal use for some time or anybody else’s in the future.

Nice park. We see Shakespeare here in the summer and I run here preparing for Columbus and Cap City.

They have great classes here and lots of programs.

Lets be honest. You get what you pay for. I think I pay around $70/year for a gym pass? This is a no frills but adequate rec center. The cardio room is tiny. There is no a/c and it gets brutal during the summer. The weight room is decent and at least there are a few fans spread around. Its typically not crowded at all. Minus two stars for being dated and no a/c. But the location is awesome and Schiller is a great park!

Very nice Recreation Center and park. Tennis, basketball, playground, billiards, pond, and more...German Village.

Clean facility, the workout room could use a good clean and disinfect. Cob webs and funk. But outside of that clean facility

There are so many activities available for adults and kids through the Parks and Recreation programs. Im so glad to have discovered that Schiller offers a good variety, at amazing prices (or free!). My 5 y.o. has done several mini-camps for preschoolers, all free, and loves her art class (Hard to beat the price: $5 for 4 sessions.) Im thinking about checking out Capoeira and Tai Chi. All the staff have been friendly and helpful. The Center itself has gymnasiums, workout and art rooms (and probably others I havent discovered yet). Free parking, and its part of the beautiful Schiller Park which features jungle gyms, paths, flower plantings, and a duck pond.

Schiller Park is a wonderful public park nestled in the heart of German Village. Wonderful place to go and enjoy some sun on a warm day.
