Great bar. Amazing little punk venue tucked away with wonderful people attending. The beer is cheap and the bathrooms have some real character. It gets a little warm but whats a good show without some sweat? It feels authentic in a way that you would imagine some tiny club in 1970s New York city would feel.

Its a cool place with a lot of fun local people that come in to play tunes. I love the chill vibe and community feel. Its a little bit grimy but hey, thats not abnormal. Plus they have a gigantic tree stump in the bar which you cant get just anywhere!

Fantastic venue. The stage is set back in a room off of the side and has a real tree stump in it coming from the ground with the stage built around it. They take care of both bands and patrons well with good drink prices and awesome service. Every show gives a good intimate feel with great sound. Open mics nights too with good songwriters, make sure to go check it out.

It is a local bar not touristy. Do not let the outer appearance mask the lively interior. Nice music with live bands. Drinks are cheap. People are friendly. There is a nice patio for summer. Finally there is a pool table available for a dollar. It was a walking distance to the varsity inn and 20 min from osu medical center. Totally recommend it.

The dive-iest of dive bars; hard to find but always worth it. You can’t beat a wildly cheap 24 oz PBR, good music, and an atmosphere that feels more like your buddy’s basement than a bar.

Neat bar. There is a cool tree stump on the stage, and walls are covered in promo stickers of all the performers that have been there over the years. Bar is pretty small and in a very weird location, but i think that adds to its appeal.

Great reputation, awful space. Mushrooms were growing in the floor, water was dripping from the ceiling, no tables were in the room where the music was, and the airless back room smelled like cat piss in a sweaty locker room... but the music was awesome.

As a venue itself, it has its charms as a hole-in-the-wall. And there are folks in Columbus who would swear by this place. But if youre a musician or somebody who books live music, look elsewhere. Never in my life have I experienced such unprofessionalism. They will double book you with another musician by accident. They will dodge your calls and emails. Overall, entirely disorganized and not worth the trip out there. Accoustic acts/singer-songwriter acts work best in that small room, and you can get a good crowd going relatively easily. Just isnt worth the hassle.

This is the best dive music venue you could imagine. The place is a good mix of weird, dank, and approachable. The staff are always nice (not the gruff bartenders with attitude you would expect from a place like this), and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. I have had more conversations with strangers here than anywhere else. The shows are usually pretty good, the intimate and casual environment lets bands really cut through the stage persona and get down to being personable and musical. The PAs arent great, and the drinks can be hit or miss, but that is part of the charm. This bar is one of my standbys for going into blind when I dont know what I am looking for, but want to have a good time.

The tree has been a stump for years now, but the vibe is still the same. Weve played some awesome shows here over the years, a venue that always feels like youre playing a basement house party to all the cool weirdos in town. I mean that in the best possible way.

This place is pretty great and pretty tough to find! I have seen some of the best local and non-local music here. Ive also had nights where the bands were just ungodly drunk and it was disappointing. They always have a beer+shot special. The space is really fun. Theres no stage for the band and it makes it one of the most intimate venues where you can see music. There actually is a tree (stump) in there. I recommend going on a nice summer night and spending some time on the patio too.

Out of all the gin except well and a spash of Bombay Sapphire. Admitted to being out of almost all of the rum too. Friendly bartender though. Very handicapped inaccessible. So many stairs and uneven surfaces. The tables arent even level, I watched someones drink slowly slide off the table several times. Cramped restroom. Difficult to spot from the road and somewhat difficult to find parking due to being in a quasi residential area. Definitely a TreeHouse ambiance in that its disheveled and haphazardly put together. Like an old dive. Band stayed on too late, causing everything after them to get pushed further back. Drinks were fairly priced and I had a good night though.

Tree Bar is a very cool hidden away spot. Looking at the outside you might never know there was a bar inside. Parking can be a pain in the area, and it tends to get crowded (it frequently features live music but its a pretty terrible venue for that) it is still worth checking out. A very cool atmosphere abounds inside and there is a pool table for entertainment as well as a nice deck out back.

AndyMans Treehouse hasnt been the same since 2010 (RIP Andy), but the most recent owners have done a great job of preserving the aspects of the bar that made it such an attraction in Columbus underground music scene as well as updating all the things that those same fans used to complain about.Beer is now on tap! The plumbing has been fixed! The patio out back no longer looks like it might collapse at any moment! There is still a little of the low down, nitty gritty feel of the original but todays iteration is very enjoyable and keeps me coming back.
