We went for the first time on Halloween. I loved this place. The whole part where you enter the speakeasy through the fridge is really well done. The atmosphere was probably my favorite part. The music was great before dinner, the staff was super courteous and everyone there seemed to really care that you had a great time. My wife and I both thought our food was great. After dinner, the band comes out and plays a set (the performers were excellent too). If I had one criticism, its that I would have liked the show to go on a little longer. But having said that my wife and I both had a blast, commented how happy we were to have something fun and different in Columbus that feels classy. I cant wait to go back.

We dined in for the first time tonight and will 100% be back. We brought our daughter to try one of the milkshakes - but quickly ended up ordering food and three milkshakes (one for all of us to try). Nothing disappointed! Well worth the money and the patio/location is awesome. I was a little worried because reviews mentioned bad service but we couldn’t have had a more opposite experience. We dined with David and he was amazing! So friendly from the moment we got there, very attentive, and took the time to give us a rundown on the history of the place. Can’t wait to return to try the other shakes and menu items! We had the patty melt, tots and special sauce, greasy spoon shake, unicorn shake and bridge funnel shake. Highly recommend those items and David as a server!

I’m so glad something like this exists in Columbus, and the performers are top notch!I do wish there was more atmosphere before and after - upon arrival there is a DJ for the majority of the time and then a live band for only for the two performers and an instrumental break in between, so it’s much more of a bar feel than a swanky club. We enjoyed the drinks-only package as a friend a few weeks ago tried the dinner and was underwhelmed. Better to snag some banging dinner across the street at Forbidden Root beforehand or dinner downstairs (full disclosure, I haven’t eaten downstairs yet.)

We have gone to both the main restaurant with the family, as well as the supper club and show upstairs with friends, and I can definitely say this place is awesome! The food and milkshakes in the restaurant are phenomenal, and what you pay for the amazing experience of the supper club and show cant be beat. Forty Deuce is still somewhat of a hidden gem, and many people dont know what they are missing. The service has been wonderful - very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Ivan is also very engaged and welcoming, often coming by to make sure we were happy with everything! Highly recommended to try both the restaurant and supper club - you wont be disappointed!!

The Burlesque show was amazing and the decor of hidden speakeasy room was awesome . These are the reasons Im giving three stars. Me and my husband decided to try this place for his birthday. We purchased tickets for the 7pm show which was 55.00. Plus tax. So 69.00. Now this is steep however it says 3 course meal and free bottle service. Well we did get a 3 course meal but it was not worth wat we paid. The starter was a salad of course it was good but cant go wrong with a salad. The main course is what got me. It comes out looking like the appetite. It was 2 shredded turkey sliders wit cranberries and fried green beans on it with a handful of sweet potatoe fries. For the amount of money was not expecting at all. I would have preferred dinner not a snack pack. Then the show comes on awesome but could have went longer to me because again we couldnt be paying for the food. Them dessert comes out in my mind oh its probably going to be there signature tower milkshake. Oh no its a pumpkin mousse with wilted whip cream really? I was really disappointed. I recommend going to the earlier shows for happy hour you will spend less money to see a awesome show because the so called 3 course meal is not worth it. The experience was great minus food. I suggest they start charging for the show and include bottle service and let people order food off their reg menu.

My friends and I went to the show last night to celebrate my birthday. There was some confusion as we were told on the phone that it would be one bottle of vodka per two guests but when we got there it ended being per four guests. The bottles are not full sized bottles, there was enough in one bottle for each of us to get 2 drinks out of it. I definitely recommend paying the extra $10 to get dinner with the show. We did not do this and it felt like a lot of waiting around since the show does not start right at the time on the tickets. Once the show finally started at 10pm it was a lot of fun but we were extremely disappointed with how short the show was. It was around 15 minutes and consisted of two girls dancing with a band performing in the background. I think we would have been less disappointed if we got the dinner with the show so I definitely recommend doing that. Overall, the atmosphere was amazing and the servers were extremely friendly. Just very disappointed with how short the show was.

It is a must see, must go, must do, just pure MUST!!! The whole experience is fan-tastic!! The only NEGATIVE thing was that we paid over $300 for a 15 minute show !! Please ADD more performances. The organization and check in process is a disaster (could be do to COVID), the 3 course meal with your VIP Reservation is small and mundane. The theme of the entire place is great from the secrete door to the speak easy theater and the entertainment is by far the reason you come the girls are entertainers with a capital E and the show is energetic that part is 5 stars! every thing else I would give a 2 hence the middle of 3. Check it out for yourself and help support local in this time, but dont expect 5 star food!

A great time if you go to see the show. For the money you get a lot, a shot, a bottle of alcohol such as wine, a salad, sliders and tater tots, and a desert made with alcohol. The show itself is great, the band and the girls were so good and talented. The only thing to make it better would be to maybe have two additional acts as the show was very short. Well worth the price and will be back for sure. Went for a bachelorette party and everyone had a blast.

My husband and I went on 7/24 for the 8pm show. I wasnt sure what to expect because the reviews on here were very vague with the Supper Show experience. So I will run you through step by step.I placed our reservation on line $55 per person, confirmed. Since 7/24 was our 21st wedding anniversary we wanted to do something fun and different from your norm you know eating at a restaurant, talking, eating, go home. So I decided this would be fun, I was a bit hesitant since COVID I didnt want to waste my money if the experience was going to limited but we decided to go for it. We got all dolled up for our night, drive to Easton found it pretty easy. Lots of parking, the outside looked nice and inviting. We walked in and sat down, a waitress came over and took care of our reservations and sat us at the bar.She gave us a drink menu which we did not order from but had other drinks. The restuarant and bar area were clean and I loved the decor. She came over and asked if we had ever been and we told her no and asked how it worked. She said soon she will come get us and take us up to the club, our night included a shot, a three course dinner and dessert. It also includes bottle service from a list of wines or Champagne.10 minutes later she came over to let us know we were ready for our turn to be seated. She took us through the kitchen to the back where she opened the freezer door!! We walked through the door into a secret staircase, painted to light up under black light. We went up three sets of stairs and came through the bar where we were greeted by our server with a shot of lemon drops! The room was amazing with paintings, lights and a big stage and bar area. Around the room was a dance platform for the dancers. She took us to our own VIP table where we sat on a rolled type velvet HUGE wrap around couch, perfect view of bar and stage. Music was playing, our table was small like an old fashioned supper club you see in the movies, and a small lamp. Our hostess came over (Im horrible with names) asked what bottle I wanted and my husband ordered a drink since he doesnt drink wine and champagne. She brought our drinks and opened the bottle of Champagne, she also had a bucket for my champs. We sat for a little bit drinking in the room and then our food started to come out, it started with a chopped salad which was good. My husband wanted soda, she brought over soda in a BIG bottle and cold glasses. Our next course were sliders (2) they were really good, after the second course the dancers came out.The stage started to turn and the live band started to play. The first lady came out and danced to the band, and then the second act came out and danced. Both were absolutely gorgeous and the show was amazing. After the show more music from the DJ and then desert. Birthday cake milkshakes! We ate, drank, couched danced and had an amazing experience! We would do it again for sure. With COVID they had a limited audience and took safety percutions the whole time we were there. From start to finish they took us through the whole experience. Here are somethings that we felt could be approved on.The dinner was good, my husband wished there were 3 sliders instead of two.The show was about 20 minutes long but I wish there were at least one more. Maybe this was due to COVID Im not sure.Maybe add a moscato type wine to the bottle service. If it was on the list I missed it and although I like Champagne I would have rather had the type of wine I like.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fun. Im wondering if we were not in the world of COVID is this open after thier last show for dancing and drinks until closing time (2:30). That would fun to do the last show and stay for dancing and drinks.I wish I can remember name but the entire serving staff was AMAZING, the show was AMAZING and sultry and very classy and playful. Thanks for a an excellent Anniversary!

My best friend and I checked out the restaurant for lunch today. We both really enjoyed our burgers (I got the Gotham and she got the Broadway), and the milkshakes were phenomenal. Our server was super attentive to us, taking our order quickly, checking for refills frequently, etc. And it didn’t take long at all to receive our food or the shakes. I saw lots of comments about the prices being high... but I think for an “experience”-type restaurant, the prices are pretty on par, and the quality of food was good. Would definitely like to go again in the future.

We have eaten here twice, and we do enjoy it. However, the prices can be a bit frustrating on a few items. 3.50 for a soft drink is absurd. I understand that the other two restaurants are in L.A and Vegas, but those prices for soft drinks in Columbus are a hard pill to swallow if you bring children. The cocktails are just average as well for the prices when you can walk next door to Beeline. They dont serve food but have an excellent happy hour that is half off almost anything, even on Friday. Their selection is amazing and cocktails are legit craft. The shakes were very unique. We tried both, and as a person that doesnt eat cake...well I was truly impressed with it. Was phenomenal, although there could be more actual ice cream. We do look forward to checking out the burlesque show sometime. Friends of ours went and recommend it.

Forty Deuce gets a star for concept and service. But with a price tag that runs $100 for two burgers, two sides, two drinks, and tip at 20%, theyre going to have to do a lot better if theyre going to survive among Eastons many eateries. In the photo you can see what qualifies as cooked to medium. Medium would be hard to accomplish since the hamburger patty is way too thin. All the flavor comes from garnishes on an unseasoned patty. We had a cocktail and a shake and both were more remarkable in aesthetic than flavor. All in all, Forty Deuce is all show and no substance. Youd be better off at a Red Robin.

It was made with top notch ingredients even the bun was great. The mac n cheese was tasty. The tots were average. The milkshakes are ridiculous in a fun way. Good vibes and ambiance. I think people that gave low ratings were upset that the burger didn’t come w a side and was “expensive”. I believe you get what you pay for and the burger is worth it.

I like the outdoor area it shares with several other restaurants but the patio is 10 feet from a cocktail bar patio that allows people to smoke cigar. We had are 2 year old with us and the whole time all we could smell was cigars. We had sevarl people gathered at a table on 42 patio that just walked up to from the street and fired up cigars. Management did quickly ask them to leave. So they stood up and took no joke 10 steps and stood by the gate. If you dont mind the smoke, have fun. I was really surprised that this was allowed in such a public area in columbus at Easton.. If this area is more for the adults then maybe dont have a milkshake heavy menu...I can see it beening a Nice evening for a group of adults and freinds. But think twice before stopping in With the little ones after 4 or 5.Ill give this place another chance when I dont have the little one. Im sure Its a fun environment.

We did the VIP night $55 per person . We waited downstairs to go through he kitchen to the secret freezer door staircase to go upstairs to the bar where we were given each a lemon drop shot. Then seated and listened to a pretty good soundtrack of music . The waitress came over to get our included wine (red or white) or champagne choice. We went with champagne. It was an avg house wine then salads were served and apparently getting a no fits salad is not possible as well as any other deletions. Followed by 2 sliders that although the burgers themselves were good the inconsistent toppings left me a bit puzzled. (1 was drowning in mayo the other barely had any) . Then the show began and much to my disappointment it was 1 dance each by 2 girls so a total if almost 20 mins for 2 dances and though those 2 were good the value just didnt seem there. The dessert was a mini cake/shake that left me with sticky hands and a serious sugar overload. Overall Id say this is an experience that I would not repeat on a dollar to value basis.

And if you arrive after the time theyve decided to close it, the server will just callously ask if you want to leave. Nevermimd the food thats lining the counter in the kitchen, which looks fully lively.Putting the idea of feeling unwelcome aside, the music in the cafe is so loud, you literally cannot hear a word that anybody is saying. This place is labeled as a speakeasy, but its definitely just another nightclub.

Not a good experience at all. Went with friends. My friend ordered a salad and her plate was filled with lettuce cores and the smallest slices of tomato I have ever seen. She literally had to prep her own salad by cutting whatever lettuce she can get off the core and ask for more toppings for her salad. The salad was also so watery we were joking about the price for her salad is high due to her having soup with her salad. The burger was bland and the fries tasted like it was cooked in old grease and was way too salty. Waitress asked me how I like the food, I told her I didnt yet she proceeded to try and upsell me to their desert... No attempt was made by her to resolve my issues with the food. My friends and I wont be back to eat. For the price we paid we could have gotten a better burger at Five Guys for less the price! But you do get a surprise soup with your salad there!!! LOL

Just left about an hour ago. Hostess took our name (even asked how to spell it) and told us a 30 minute wait; 25 minutes later people who arrived later were seated prior to us, when I explained to the hostess the situation she told me that she couldn’t find us, we were sitting next to her in the only 2 chairs in the “waiting area” right next to her, she never called us and acted like it was our fault. We both ordered the 3 course meal for restaurant week and I also got a mixed drink. I had to ask the waiter where the drink was but it didn’t arrive until after dessert had arrived, turns out he forgot about it. Burger was decent and the dessert was good as well.I had high hopes for this place after hearing about it, I understand it’s new and there are kinks to be worked out but it was pretty miserable. The seating is pretty odd and the walk in waiting area is large enough to have 4 people stand comfortably, you can overflow to the other side but you’re literally standing over a 2 person table as they eat. The people at that table complained about it as well as the table next to ours.Hopefully stuff gets worked out I don’t want to see anybody fail but I won’t be back.

Service was atrocious and I do mean atrocious. I came on a Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for a reason. I give liberties with it being a new restaurant. Thus why I opted for a week night instead of the weekend. If youre going to charge $15 for milkshakes and $15 for burgers. Your service needs to reflect that experience. Im leaving a restaurant hungry and dissatisfied to say the least. INCREDIBLY disappointed. Which is never a good sign. What I did get a taste of was very good. Tater tots. We were only like the fourth table sat in the entire restaurant. We waited 15 minutes to place our order. Which we had to flag a manager down to do so. We ordered our burgers medium, as well as a side of fries and tater tots. Our meals took forever to come out but when they did the presentation was wonderful. Got two bites into them and they were well done. Had to send mine back, because I refuse to eat a buger thats not cooked to the temp. I ordered. We figured this would be a good time to order our milkshakes seeing how service was running. We figured theyd get there at the end of our meal. We had to go to the bar to get our own refills, napkins, and a straw. I had to ask 2 different people where my burger was, finally my waitress said it was the next ticket in the window. This is after I already waited 15 minutes. My friends meal was finished. Did I mention the restaurant was now packed.. Thats how long we were waiting. We told her that since my meal hadnt been started yet to cancel our milkshakes. Which also never came despite ordering them 15 minutes prior. I askedher to go ahead and just bring us our bill. Finally another manager came out to address us. We didnt ask for a manager, we just wanted to just get out of there. I was starving at this point. So I appreciated her coming over. We explained why we were leaving. They offered to give it to me to go. I declined. They then compd the entire bill which was nice. Our waitress still brought the burger out to see if I wanted it. I declined again. The owner himself Ivan Kane was there which was refreshing. He was dressed fairly lax. I get its a burger joint, and you own it but come on. He was hands on, seating guests, taking orders, getting drinks. Sauntering around asking guests about their experiences. Except our table. Id say if youre going to go, wait awhile. I thought going through the week was a safe bet. I say skip it and go to Flipside.

Went for a birthday for my brother in law . wasnt busy so we figured good service and not a long wait. Were we wrong !!! First off no kids menu. Burgers are over priced . alacart for fries and u get a small portion . 4 dollars for fries ? Burger was OK , nothing special . one of our meals didnt come out until after we all ate . worst service I have ever had and to exspensive for a burger joint . want people to come back ? Get better service , treat ur guest like we are paying ur bills and add more than 6 items to ur menue and impress people

Food was really great, service left something to be desired. My husband and I went there for 614 week since it looked interesting. Server took our drinks to refill them and never returned. My burger was not the one I ordered so had to be sent back. After about 20 minutes we reminded our server about the drinks (which were just soft drinks). After no luck and about another 20 mins in without them we finally reached out to a manager. This was after a total of about 40 minutes without our drinks and 30 since my food had been sent back mind you.The manager was great and did everything that she could to remedy the situation and quickly returned with our drinks and my food came out about 10 minutes later. Our shakes came out after another good 20 minutes or so and were decent. After we finished we waited a little bit for the check before the server checked on us and seemed suprised that we had actually already gotten our shakes which kind of astonished us.Like she seemed genuinely suprised to see we got our shakes even though it had been about another 40 or so minutes since I finally got my burger. Then she brought us the bill which we were informed was discounted due to our difficulties and it was wrong. They had charged us for an entire other meal somehow, though luckily we caught it and got it fixed. In the end we went in at about 3:30 pm on a saturday and came out at 5:15 after a dismal experience. It really saddens me because this place has such great potential. The food is phenominal and the staff is super friendly which is why I gave it two stars. Unfortunately being pleasent doesnt equate to being good at your job and service was extremely lacking. Honestly it kind of felt like we were sat in a corner and our server completely forgot about us.I will say that management did everything that they could to make it right but it was just the continual screw ups even after they intervened that really set the experience for me.Who knows, maybe because they are so new they are still working out the kinks, or maybe there was stuff going on behind the scenes that was inhibitting the process. If it tells you anything I would be willing to try them again in a few months to see if service has improved, the food was that good. Hopefully they will get past whatever was going on today by then and if they are I will revise my review accordingly.

The food was OK, but what a terrible value. Glad we tried it, but I doubt well go back.

Expensive, considering a burger and fries is over $20.Horrible service, expect to wait almost 40 minutes for your food and dont expect refills.
