The Columbus Museum of Art is one of the best venues in Columbus. As a wedding photographer, Seth and I have experienced many great venues. The service you receive at The Columbus Museum of Art puts it on another caliber. The food is tremendous, the staff is so kind and the grounds make for exceptional photos. We also have photographed ceremonies at the Art Museum. These ceremonies are so special and have a true romantic feel.

The Columbus Museum of Art is amazing. Location excellent! Staff excellent and very well presented in appearance and customer service. The exhibition is amazing with so much to see. Very artistic and relaxing. Works done by simply amazing artist. The museum is massive and located in a gorgeous building. As my son and I walked to the entrance, a Columbus police officer who was driving in his patrol car even waved hello to us. That was an awesome experience to have a police officer simply wave to a citizen to simply say hello. Awesome!! I highly recommend the Columbus Museum of Art. A great place to take your family, friends, or a nice date to relax. They also offer military discounts for veterans and members of the armed forces. A beautiful place!!

This museum has an impressive collection. It took us about two hours to go through the whole museum. Lots of art from different eras, with great info about each piece of art. There is a place to study inside that is really nice and open. There are activities for kids, also there are conversation sections that help you talk about a variety of issues on post it notes. The museum is great for groups, a date, or just something to do on a Sunday afternoon(free admission on Sundays). Worth checking out!

Loved my experience at the Columbus museum. So much to see. As a adult I felt like a kid again. Also a great place for elementary age kids to enjoy. A lot to learn and the exhibits are exceptional. I love the fact they have a hands on area for children as well. Even better its free every Sunday. It gets a little crowded so I would plan for a good 4-5 hours of being there if you want to see and read everything. The staff is very helpful and clean restrooms.

Ive been here twice now and both times it was around the holidays when there was a Lego exhibit.Four years ago when I went, the Lego exhibit was huge. It took up at least 4-5 rooms. This year it was pretty small and was only in one room. The model of Columbus was cool, but I expected more based on the last time I was there. The rest of the museum is just ok to me. There are only a couple of rooms that have anything impression/modern. Its a pretty small museum so its easy to see it all without spending much time there.I probably wont be back again unless theres a special exhibit Im interested in.

Pretty nice art museum. To be honest, there arent a lot of great museums in Columbus. This is one of the better ones. Plus its free on Sundays (at least for now), which is awesome!I first visited in 2012 and was not that impressed. To be fair, it was partially under construction at the time. When I came back in 2017 it was much improved, inside and out. The exhibition of local artists was particularly interesting.I still prefer the art museums in Cleveland and Cincinnati both in terms of architecture and collections, but Columbus is catching up!

In years past I did not particularly enjoy this Museum because it was mainly portraits of dead people that were dark and without character or emotion. That era is gone now. The displays I saw recently were varied, lively, and interesting. The glass works in particular were amazing and the suspended Barrel its always moving. The best part about the visit was to see all of the interactive opportunities that draw in all ages but especially young people and children. It would be wonderful if the funding for the museum was such that they were able to have other occasions with free admission has the Sunday I was there it was packed. There is a demand for this amongst those who dont have the pocketbook for it.
