Went here for a daddy daughter night. It was so fun. The teenager energy made it extra fun. Cloud at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated her enthusiasm as well. Great staff. Great place to go. We will be back!

Great concept, and my kids have had fun here in the past.... but perhaps consider separating players with blasters from players with regular nerf guns. Unless a parent wants to pay an upcharge for the high powered guns, get ready to watch your kids cry when they are shot at point blank range by adults with blasters. It really takes away from the fun when the opposing team is stacked with adults with blasters vs a bunch of kids with the inferior guns included in the cost of admission.

We love Dart Warz! Our 7yo has a great time and its fun that adults can join in (very therapeutic). Staff is friendly. Had our birthday there and all the kids loved having a private arena to themselves. There are viewing areas to enjoy the action and prices are reasonable, especially if you bring your own Nerf guns.

Amazing place !!! Amazing staff !! We went this morning for the first time while visiting with some local friends and all I can say is I wish we had one of these in NC. The staff were all so knowledgeable and helpful, lots of little people getting their guns jammed and never once was it seemed an inconvenience to help. Owner seemed fantastic and very accommodating. Clean facility , cant say anything but great things .

We love this place. This is the third time we have went. They have redone the bunkers and floors. It’s super fun. The refs do a great job mixing up the games and helping people follow the rules and have fun. I’m sure we will be back

We enjoyed our sons 11th birthday party, the staff was excellent. I was expecting to be very busy cutting cake etc but their staff literally took care of everything and I just sat with some friends and enjoyed myself. I couldnt have asked for a better experience! All the kids seem to really have a great time and it was well orchestrated.

Very fun time with the kids. The arena was really well set up and the games were creative and fun. Going again for sure and and gonna pay for the gun upgrade next time.

Love the blasters that they let us use. There are some restrictions though. I think they should let all Nerf Guns allowed and not limited to the guns they let you use. I think they should train there staff more because I got my gun jammed and I traded it but then they kicked me out of the round even though I wasn’t out.

My little brother and I have been going here for years but when the place changed owners this place has gone down hill. Weve been going here the past 2 weeks with the new everything and it has not gotten better. The refs were terrible and never called any of the the players hits and when we pointed it out the refs argued with us. Worst experience Ive ever dealt with being at this. Never going here again.

One of the greatest places to have fun for both kids AND adults! You will have a good time no matter the age and ESPECIALLY if you like Nerf blasters. The staff is pretty good about the times and are pretty knowledgeable for questions about blaster upgrades

Took my little cousin here for his birthday and he had the time of his life!! The prices are a bit high for the guns that need batteries. I only say this, cause the batteries only last about 30 minutes, so you usually have to swap batteries during the middle of the match (or get shot trying)Overall, super fun, and would definitely go again with our own nerf guns :)

Fun place to take my son for a short period of time. I actually went there for a networking event with Veterans Referring Veterans. The new owner seems to be a great guy and supportive of veterans. I wish him success.

It was fund while it lasted! I think its closed now, or at least it closed for a while. The kids love it. The guns seem to get worn out real quick though.

Stood there waiting with my client at the front for over five minutes while waiting for one of the boys that were watching the football game on the tv to come help us out.

Weve visited this place twice again after it reopened under new ownership and had a great time. Its just a lot of fun and the new owner is making the whole experience a lot better. The birthday party we went for had close to 30 kids and they all had a blast. Staff was really helpful facilitating the party room. Took my son and nephew just for a fun Saturday later and they loved it. Relatively quick games even with a lot of people so you didnt sit too long after getting out. Upgraded guns are affordable so kids stand a better chance against adults. Open more days is great too, especially for summer. If you were frustrated with the old place, go back and check it out. The new owner is getting things turned around for the better.

Ok, snarky response owner...this place is a great concept and my boys were big nerf gun battle lovers...but the lack of caring by the inattentive staff and the frequent breaking of their own rules allowed for a great deal of cheating in games. This burnt my boys out so they didnt want to go anymore.If there are even more than 3 people in line to check in, youll burn up a ton of time due to the slow processing, so compared to other facilities with far more streamlined check-ins, this could be improved.So, three stars for concept, but a lack of 2 because of the lack of caring by staff.Get your act together and youd have greater loyalty from customers.

Fun place for kids and adults it gets very busy and packed quick. I wish the options for food and games were a bit more open for birthday parties but other wise cool place to have some fun

So much fun but I wish there were bigger arenas.

The refs were not calling out people who had been hit, they were allowing people who had been hit to walk out of the bunker and keep playing. If you didn’t have a rival you couldn’t compete. It used to be a fun place to go but not any more. Very disappointed.

My kiddos are regular VIPs at Dart Wars. They love the game, the atmosphere, and the staff are attentive. Couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Dart Wars of Colorado Springs!7/11/2020 update... We still LOVE this place! Today we had a large group on the fly and the staff was so attentive. Dylan takes good care off his customers, we feel like family. Keep it up guys!

Took my two boys (10&6) in from out of town, where we dont have an arena yet, and the had a BLAST!! It was a slower day and the kids still had a great time. The new owner has the right idea and I highly recommend for an inexpensive something different to do.

I celebrated my son’s birthday there and I couldn’t be more happy i did so, all the staff was amazing specially LANDON, he was very helpful throughout the entire time, all the parent we’re telling how good idea this place was, thank you guys so much, highly recommend Dart Wars to have an amazing time!

Response by owners when concerns were showed that this place of biz was ADVERTISING basically anyone that said they were disabled could come in without question without a mask by just saying the word disabled their response was take it up with the governor . For truly disabled people trying to CHEAT the law pretending to be disabled is a horrible thing to do, especially while at a place grown up bring their kids to be a role model at.

We love that the new owners are making a great place even better! My kids could spend hours here! Its a fun, safe environment for kids 6+.

The referees were terrible, they made the teams incredibly unfair, it was 3 little kids and 1 big kid vs. 6 big kids. When people asked about changing up the teams the referees wouldn’t do anything and they were very rude. They would be extremely rude to players who didn’t get out when they were hit and didn’t know they were hit. Then they would make the players sit out for 3 rounds. If you weren’t hit and said you weren’t hit they would yell at you and make you sit out for 5 rounds. It would have been very fun if the referees weren’t rude and terrible at their jobs.

Great place to engage in Nerf Battles. Been going regularly for awhile, these guys are really good. Definitely recommend giving it a shot.

We had fun some of the adults are unfair and are a little rough with the small ones.

I love this place! My daughter plays there weekly on glow night. Great employees. Everyone is so nice, and they get to know you. Very friendly and now call us by name as we come in. It teaches sportsmanship, and great values. Everyone is treated with the highest respect. From the 5 yr old to the grandma or Grandpa. It gives my daughter a chance to run around and burn off some steam, getting in some exercise while playing under the rules that have been set.

My review is just as helpful as the employees. Not at all. Service is no good.

A great time if the “pros” aka off duty workers aren’t playing and shooting kids point blank and adults point blank repeatedly. Unfortunately our 10 year old never wants to play again.

My son and his friends have an amazing time ever time I bring them here. And I dont mind admitting that I have a blast and feel like a kid again too.I am very impressed with the staff. Theyre all teenagers/early 20s and I love how safely and maturely they run the place. Upbeat energy all the time but they preach safety, playing by the rules, and good sportsmanship.

We just had our son’s birthday party here today, and it wasn’t what I was expecting. I was hoping for a more personalized experience from our hostess, but she was very disinterested in providing what a normal party hostess would do. The play time was sufficient, but when it came to having the kids eat and do presents, she seemed to rush everything along. She didn’t want to help, but reluctantly did so. For that type of service, the price is definitely not worth it. Thankfully my kids enjoyed themselves, but I won’t be having another birthday party here. Service was horrible for the price I paid.

Fun place to take your kids

Our family loves coming to DartWarz! We have so much fun! Every time we go! We love to mod our guns to get the price of batteries down and increase blaster performance! We also love coming here to celebrate birthdays for our kids! The staff is excellent! Jake (manager I think?) always takes good care of us and so does the rest of the staff! They answer all our crazy questions and give us good ideas on how to get better or have more fun! They do a great job keeping us safe and helping us have a blast!I would gladly give five stars but there is one thing that frustrates me about our Colorado Springs location, we cant use our Nerf Rival guns for glow :-(....This is a very sore point for us because the location up north has the glowing rival balls available and it is so fun to use our Rival blasters all the time! I just wish you all would get Rival balls for glow play down here in Colorado Springs because I know I could bring my kids after school more often and during the later hours on the weekends. Really sad for our family. Also if this changes I will for sure mark this to a 5 star review and update my comments accordingly :-)

Ok. So, we originally loved this place. Its so disappointing. We have had consistent issues.Examples:- They were closed despite the time on the website, front door, and automated answering message saying they would be open. We had planned to go there with out of town family. We chose that day based on the info provided. We didnt get to go.- My son was invited to a birthday party today that they booked with a family and then realized they werent going to be open when that family called to confirm. That poor family had to rally last minute and call all the families to a different place.I wish theyd get their act together. I honestly dont know who is running this location, but its not going well. This is just a couple of the issues weve encountered.

All i know is i scheduled a Birthday party for my 6 year old son for this Thursday and i better have no problems or any disrespectful staff or you will hear from me. i have heard good reviews but after looking online.. i am worried. ill rate 3 stars until i experience it myself.

Was a great middle school field trip. Had so much fun with the kids as a chaperone. I cant imagine a smaller group because a bus full of kids seemed like just enough. Team did a great job managing and hosting. The best part, the kids were all spent afterward. Expect an equipment rental in addition to admission if you dont bring your own gun. Standard included gun was wholly inadequate. Careful, check for their list of prohibited equipment as some guns are known to destroy the provided ammo.

My wife called Friday the 24th and asked about their Glow in the Dark. They said it was from 7-9pm Saturday night. My son and I have never been and guess what, his birthday was on Saturday (today 5/25). We get to the Championship Drive location and the front desk worker says that the location is rented out for a private party at 7pm......Im sorry, what?!? He said the owner Dylan, told them that today. Dylan is the one who told my wife about the Glow in the Dark 7-9pm timeframe a day before. Great communication with your team. My now 6 year old went from extremely excited for his surprise to crying in their parking lot. Thanks.(Edited after response) - Your team obviously didnt get the memo from you because they told us when we got there that you (Dylan), told them that day that it would be closed for a private event. Miscommunication on your part to your employees. My wife didnt call on Saturday. She called the day before and spoke to you, Dylan (owner). Thats where the disconnect in communication was (again), from you to her as a potential customer. She called twice on Friday to make sure there was Glow in the Dark Dart Warz from 7-9pm and she was told there would be. And when you called to apologize after we had left, that was literally it...an apology and then silence on the phone. No, hey, please come back on another day and have a play on us so we can earn your business. Nothing.Guess we wont be going back there at all or referring people there. Thanks for nothing.(Edited again after a horrible response) - Its not too bad you feel that way, its too bad you as an owner didnt take the initiative to offer my son, who was extremely disappointed on his 6th birthday, to have an invite back to make it right. THAT would have been the right thing to do. Obviously, you as an owner didnt think so. Good luck to you. Hopefully you learn from the experience and understand what to do in the future.

Worst customer service I’ve experienced paid for a birthday for March 10th booked it well in advance the company called and cancelled a few days before the party due to not having enough staff that day still waiting to be refunded the deposit a month later I received mutilple insults by email from Dylan Newman the new owner. Dylan has the worst customer service I’ve experienced I’ll never take my son to this place again.

My son and his friends always have a great time going here. Perfect for children ages 8 and up and for adults. The only downside is after paying $10 for an hour you have to rent one of their guns at upwards of an additional $8. My son tells me without renting a better gun theres no way to keep up in the battle. But other than the price this is a great place for the family to have fun and keep away from the video games.

This is my father son time. We buy the monthly membership and my boys now play in the Tuesday night league they love it. Great exercise for my boys and they have no idea. Staff is great with them and incourage fair play and honestly.

Bring your own gun because unless you want to pay 8 to 12 more dollars for something that half way work. Fun place to go for 2 hrs if you have the cash. Could be kept up a little more.

I would like to start this review by saying that I would love to give this awesome idea five stars. Six if I could. The problem is I cant.I started playing soon after they opened. The staff compromised of 18-20 somethings, but they were respectful, kind, and considerate. They impressed me greatly.The problem is, about every year or so, the staff changes. They find better jobs. Their replacements have always been something of a mixed bag. That being said, I have still seen some great staff. Sometimes even living up to the standards of the past. Its just less consistent.Then, theres the matter of shields. Dart Wars uses Nerf guns, with the rule being one hit and youre out. However, since the very early days, there have been shields. They block the bullets and you dont get hit. Originally, players could only use the shields that Dart Warz provided, and those were available to everyone. They were also hard to get, as they were placed in the dangerous center field. Now, players can bring their own.This is not an inherently bad idea. The problem is that not everyone brings these rather large objects with them. This puts a majority of players at a disadvantage, and its not much fun to play against. Even if all players had shields, the games would become a test of whos team is the better tank. That simply is not fun.I used to really love this place. Some part of me still does. For awhile I was a small part of the professional playerbase. If you do want to go to Dart Warz, bring a shield.[EDIT]: Thank you for responding to my wall of text up there. Glad to hear that one of my favorites is back. So, I guess Ill donn my Dart Warz T-shirt and that old bandana I bought a long while ago, and give you another shot.

My kids range from 8 to 15 and we love this place (including my wife and I). They supply all the nerf darts, discs, and rival balls. They will also outfit you with a nerf gun, upgrade to a nicer model for a few bucks, or bring your own. An hour of play is good for us but some go longer. You pay by the hour but begin whenever you want — they will announce your name and tell you it is your “final round” once your time is up. After you have signed electronic waivers and paid, leave your shoes in the cubbies, get your gun/eye protection and briefing, don a colored “team” vest, and then head in to the arena when the next round begins. Refs will explain the various games.

We went with a group for my son and he enjoyed it, as well as the other kids that went. You can bring your own nerf or rent one for an additional charge depending on the type. The things that I thought were good were the organization of the flow of sessions, the safety measures, and the friendly staff. If you are not playing you can view the action from a viewing area or in the lobby on a TV. Loud music, but not at an unsafe volume.

My kids love this place. Dont bring your own Nerf darts, they are provided. You can bring your own gun, as long as its not on the restricted list, or rent one there. There are a couple guns provided for free as well. Make sure you wear your socks!

Had a great time with the kiddos - 8 and 6. Plenty of darts around for ammo and the brightly colored vests make it easy to tell which team is which. There are refs on the floor to keep honest play. A few suggestions - Wear socks. Take your own gun - or pay to upgrade to a gun that has good ammo output; reloading in the middle of a game is no fun. Prepare to be pummeled. There are some serious players with crazy big guns, and people like us, who were there to have fun. At one point I was on a team with one other adult and 6 little ones against another team of serious teen-aged boy players. All in all - it was a good time. Will definitely go again - with my own gun!

Very unhappy. I was planning on bringing students to play today because it was posted originally that they open at 11 due to it being a No School a day. After checking this morning it said not open until 4pm. Corporate originally left me a message basically saying “I don’t know where you saw 11 because that isn’t the case.” I cancelled all students and took our district van back only to be called back again and be told they actually ARE open at 11! Well now my students have been cancelled, we have no transportation and on top of that the website and google both still say they open at 4pm.Really wish they were on top of things because this ruined our entire plan and the kids were soooo excited to come. They should open early another day to make up for this because this is the one outing kids begged for.

We all had a great time playing at Dart Warz! However, we did have some suggestions. During our battles, it seemed like one team lost more people than the other one did. By the time that were close to being done, there were about twice as many people on one team than the other. Im not sure how to adjust this, but just wanted to let someone be aware of it. The other suggestion would be to have water jugs in the dug outs. By the time our hour was up, we were all parched. It would be great to be able to get a quick drink while waiting for the next round to start. Overall, we all had a great time and will definitely be back again!

Fun place for your NERF fanatic! The Battle Zone is a large room where players are split into two teams (orange and yellow) to shoot at each other. There are big cardboard boxes for barricades and shields you can use to defend against attacks. The place smells a little like dirty socks from all the sweating, but your nose gets used to it pretty quickly. Overall, they make a room full of cardboard boxes a lot of fun for kids and adults. Its $10 per player, but adults play free on Mondays, so its a good night for Moms and Dads to bring the kids and enjoy blasting each other for an hour or so!

I had my daughters birthday party here and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The playing time was fun for the kids, but the entire time I felt rushed. They provided a room with tables for thirty minutes but the manager was only going to let us use three of the tables for our guests and food. “So it’s easier for us to clean up for the next party”. The host passed out pizza and 5 minutes into the guests eating she wanted to cut the cake. Which that’s understandable, but for the amount that I paid I think I should be able to use the entire room for the full amount of time and feel at ease. Which in this experience I was not. I was not satisfied and would not recommend for a birthday party.

Fine for kids, but avoid as an adult. Group play is public with mixed age groups and the staff referees take their jobs too seriously. Check in was very slow. Recommend spending the same amount of money on your own Nerf guns and just play at home.

Our experience varies every time we go. The attitudes of the workers is different each visit...but I think that is only noticeable to the parents :) The kids have fun every time. We are very happy that rival nerf guns are now allowed every day (and not just on extreme night).

2nd edit: see first edit belowIt is definitely worth going. Management is aweful. Aweful. Employee turn over is high. Its fun I recommend going late. Less people generally means everybody cheats less.Edit: this review is mostly based on my visits prior to the new management taking over. Previous owners were aweful. Since this post I actually spoke with the new owner quite a bit during a visit. I am super stoked about the new owner. He actually seems to care about the place and I fully expect customer service and experience to drasticaly improve. Changing from 3 stars to 4. Highly recommend everyone check this place out.3rd edit: I realised I didnt mention anything about actual game play. Its super fun Im 35 and love the place. It feels almost exactly like speed ball paintball. I enjoy it so much I edited this review 3 times.

I take my son every week to their extreme league, my son loves the tournament every month. The staff always greet both of us by name and they love to laugh and chat...Cody & Ally are my favorites. This is one of the best places to help kids build sportsmanship, the rules are enforced from start to finish.

We love Dart Warz! We have 3 small kiddos 2 boys and one girl and everyone has a blast when we get the chance to battle! My Husband and I also play with the kids the playful atmosphere and friendly staff really make this a wonderful family activity! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

If youre looking for a low cost way to have fun with your family, look no further. My daughter and I go here on Thursdays for bargain night ($7 per person per hour, not sure what the normal rate is) and rent out a few Nerf guns and go nuts.The check in process is a little slow sometimes, but that doesnt detract from the fun of the overall experience.

Had our sons birthday party here and was very disappointed in the hostess and time management when it came to the party room. The play time was great for the kids but as soon as we went to the room it was like you have 16 minutes to eat pizza, do cake and open presents. Hostess was more like a supervisor than a party hostess. Would not recommend for birthdays for the price.

My bf and stepson love this place!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Sons party cancelled 2 days before scheduled party! Still awaiting my refund after being told I would receive it within 2-3 business days. Party was cancelled by facility March 6th its now March 24th and still no word from corporate. This place is unprofessional, inconsiderate and ill equipped to run a business while adhering to normal business practices. I have reported them to BBB because I feel their refund policies arent honest and very misleading. I called one week and a day before my sons scheduled birthday party to make sure everything was lined up ok and wasnt under the impression there were issues stirring within the business. Id suggest to not book a party here because theyll lie to you to get your money and then ghost when its time to return your money.

Fun place to visit but wish they had a better way to store your shoes. My family and I went there and when we came out my nephews boots were gone. I understand that they are not responsible for items but really? you make us take off our shoes, you should at least have a camera on them, a way to lock them up-something. Thankfully he wasnt wearing his expensive ones that we had just bought for him the day before.

We had a party for my son here and when we went to pay they charged us a lot more than we were originally quoted. My wife asked about it and the manager had to come over and reluctantly changed the price to what we were originally quoted. After he walked away he decided to talk to a co-worker about how cheap some people can be and laughing about it next to her son who asked me why were they being mean to his mom. Well it is called we have 4 kids and every little bit we save to give them a fun time we will do. We will not be coming back here ever and will not recommend it to anyone else either.

This was the first time we went to Dart Warz. We were excited to try a new family outing and drove one hour to get to it. I had purchased a Groupon for four for one hour of play. We arrived, and turned in our Groupon (with only three of us as we did not have a fourth). At that point we are told it will be approximately eleven dollars. Stunned as I have never had that happen with a Groupon, I said what? The girl behind the counter says what back. I rightly say, why am I paying on top of a Groupon. She says because you owe it, the Groupon doesnt cover the three of you for an hour. I say, youre correct, it covers four of us for an hour and she looks at me, walks off and talks to a man who then comes over. Might I mention, at no point was I rude in any way. I simply wanted to know the reason. He walks up aggressively and says whats the problem? In a snide voice and stares at me. I again ask why Im paying on top of price paid for Groupon. He tells me hes the new owner and eating my Groupon and therefore charging me on top of it. After explaining how Groupon works he says he knows but he isnt honoring it. With a nine year old standing there salivating to play, I pay the extra, knowing Im getting rooked. Our hour has now started. The next fifteen minutes were taken up by another guy explaining rules to us and getting our guns. Finally inside the arena which is a room full of duct taped cardboard to hide behind. Very cheaply done. So okay, we make the best of it and join in after being told we need to wait and change out our vests to a different team as they gave us the wrong ones. Another waste of five minutes. So we are down to forty minutes at this point. Play begins. Five minute games. In between the five minutes, pick up darts and prepare for next game. But wait, we will now waste another five minutes explaining how to play capture the flag. Okay, lets go. Wait. Lets say Happy Birthday to random stranger. Ok, can we play now? Another game goes by, lets say happy birthday to another stranger AND hold up play to see which team can yell the loudest. Wait, not good enough, lets do it again... Think you get the picture. Before each game, names called as to who is now on their last round. Yup, that would be us. Leave the game and go to drop off guns. Exit the arena and come face to backside with employee in short cut off Jean shorts with the backside split and no underwear on. Room full of kids for a birthday party. Awesome. Needless to say, we wont waste our time or money going back. The owner clearly does not understand customer service. We do outings like this all the time. We have used Groupon to discover new places and never had a problem. Consequently we spent more money and went back to those establishments. Repeat customer equals happy owner... Your loss. During the short time we actually got to play for my forty dollar hour, we had fun. Would be no stars if possible.

Kids loved this place. Its pretty much like paintball for kids. (and adults) they have nerf guns for rent or you can bring your own. Darts and safety glasses are also supplied. Good way to get the kids out of the house and worn out. Let em spend an hour running around in the arena having a blast and theyll probably be asleep in the car before you get out of the parking lot. Oh, and dad can play too.

I was super impressed with how the staff operated with a room full of hyperactive teens running all over shooting darts. Very well run and they work hard to keep good sportsmanship rukes in place. Game types rotate often. My only complaint.. some game types arent always fun to place in a 5 minute round. If they ran a little longer might make them fun. Also. Some of the dart guns hurt if shot at close range. Mostly the ones players bought and bring for there own use.

I went to a birthday party here. Terrible service. Unorganized and dirty. Even the birthday boys mom was extremely upset. Guns didn’t work or shoot. I would never have a party here for my kid. Honestly we will not be back at all after the rude employees we encountered and poor cleanliness of the whole establishment.
