Great music, cool place. Water Bottles are banned because they ‘can be used as a weapon’.So, not only is this a vulnerable ‘gun free zone’ / ‘anything defensive free zone’, but they have no armed security here. I’ve never felt so vulnerable and fearful of an attack in my entire life, and I’ve spent the night in Compton LA, and many border towns as well as Charlotte NC. Any attacker armed with more than a plastic butter knife could beat their valet style ‘security’.Aside from venue rules, Great experience, excellent performances as always.

Went to see a Pop concert performed by the symphony with a Queen cover band. It was awesome!!! My seats were at the front and I enjoyed it. The chairs were quite comfy and easy to get to. The view was good for a band concert, but if I would be going for a play, I would want further back seats.

The facilities are actually wonderful, and I really enjoy all of the shows and performances that Ive seen here. However, be prepared to be treated like a criminal when you enter: metal detectors and bag searches all around. Ladies, dont bother trying to bring in a purse at all. They never have any signs about where or who to show your tickets to, just random people hanging out on the other side of the metal detectors. They charge convenience fees to buy tickets in any way shape or form. I find myself going to performances here less and less because of how rude security is, and how money-grubbing the ticketing process has become. Im happy to pay for performances, and I realize that there are upkeep and staff fees, but I would really love to know where all the 18% convenience fees are going.

The hours vary of course depending on which show is performing. In general it opens doors one hour prior to performance. Most shows stop here for two days before moving on to Fort Collins Colorado or longer runs in Denver. Its a smaller venue. Parking free at your own risk or two lots that charge 5-10 for parking. Doors open 15 minutes prior to performance and has two places to get your expensive alcohol drink. A decent little restaurant next door. Outdated carpet but clean nonetheless.

Saw Mystery Science Theater 3000 LIVE on Feb 16, 2020.The building looks a bit dated from the outside, but it hides a nice elegance on the inside.Things were pretty well organized, but I could see a small issue arising at the right door if too many people were purchasing/picking up tickets while people were entering. Both are in a small room and could push against one another. However, more and more digital tickets are being done and this might never be an issue. Security is located beyond the entrace doors on both sides and there is a size limitation to bags. Be sure to look up those restrictions prior to attending an event or youll be walking back to your vehicle.Inside, for MST3K LIVE, the merch booth was behind the downstairs bar area. This led to both lines mushing up against one another and people unsure of where each line began.Inside of the hall, seats are a bit outdated and look like they belong in a high school. Dont let that description fool you though. The seats were REALLY comfortable to sit in. There is also a decent amount of space between your seat and the next row. That was really nice when people needed to navigate the aisle as you didnt need to stand up to allow someone to pass.

The venue was great overall. The restrooms were clean, the seats were in great condition, the acoustics were just plain amazing, and the lighting was spot on. The venue smells very good, and the grounds outside are very well kept. The security was tight, and the staff was very courteous. The clean restrooms were the biggest plus for my wife and I. The biggest drawback was the snack area. The clerks at the coffee table were very quickly overwhelmed during intermission, and the food selection was lacking. Just a suggestion (in case anyone reads this review): Try going all-in on the coffee section vending and vendors (please include decaf, more staff, and more cookies). Thank you for making it a fun experience for my family!

I was woken up in the morning by a former business relation. He advised me that he had purchased tickets for his family accidentally on the wrong weekend and he was out of state. He offered me the tickets since I was local and I had my twins with me. I excepted and we got everybody up and around. He was able to email me the tickets through the vendor. We proceeded to go to the event as a surprise and my kids were blown away having the most amazing day in a long time! I still get asked if we can go back to the Pike’s Peak Center by the 4 year old duo as they believe the paw patrol is there every day! Thanks for the memories!BDGC

The Pikes Peak Center is a beautiful venue. However, parking is a very irritating problem and the cost of the shows is generally pretty substantial. Plan to add a minimum of $5.00 to your visit to the Center for parking, and plan to wait for an extended time to exit afterward if you choose the adjacent garage. Most of the other parking facilities are more costly, more inconvenient, and farther away. It certainly lessens the enjoyment of the evening.

Great theater that draws some great shows. Some are better than others but, overall, they do a great job bringing in top notch talent. They have drinks available during shows for around $7 for a glass of wine, $6-8 for a cold beer. Theres a parking garage available during shows but it gets very busy and can take up to 20 minutes to get out on a busy night. Park on the street if you can.

I love this venue-would normally give 5 stars...BUT the bag size limitation is a bit extreme. We almost missed the show tonight because we had to take our purses (that were slightly larger than a half sheet of paper) back to the car. Why not just search the bags like other venues? You need a better security system.

Extremely disappointed for the 2019-2020 season tickets I purchased. A great seat in the Loge, Row A dead center. This Performing Arts Center hasnt been touched since built in 1979. The seats are hard as a brick, lights burned out everywhere, over heard the pre-dinner food was cold. You stand in the outside cold weather waiting for the doors to open at 6:30pm. It was just not what I expected, with my mobility issues. The facility needs a serious renovation to 2020 theatre standards, or close. I donated the remaining two tickets to Vet Tix so someone will use them.

We attended my mother in laws Christmas Concert here and it was fantastic as always, it is a beloved tradition. We have also seen other shows and plays at this venue. There is construction going on around the building but it seemed to be easy enough to find parking if you were as early as we were for our event (1.5 hours early). The biggest change this year is their new security measures which included no oversized bags, metal detectors, and every bag got thoroughly searched. I appreciate their commitment to safety but being a mother to a young child (infant) on a cold and snowy day it was rather cumbersome to lug everything around without my usual diaper bag but we managed with some teamwork!Despite this the staff were exceedingly friendly, understanding, and even cheery despite being berated by numerous disgruntled characters (because you always have those types who have to complain to people who only enforce the rules and dont make the rules.)We highly recommend this venue, and will continue to attend as many events as we can here!

This is a fantastic place to go for performances. The seating is comfortable. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is all very polite and respectful. The acoustics are great and the sound system seems to be very well done. I have been to a couple of performances here and each time it is quite a pleasant experience. I would recommend attending performances here. There is a parking structure that is usually free for events. It is, however, a business and they make money from their concessions so expect that if you want to buy concessions on site that you will pay a bit more than you might elsewhere. I am not sure if they produce their own handbills or not, but the handbills they pass out have always been well done. All in all a five star experience and well earned.

You now must go through metal detectors to enter. I was told I could not come in because my purse was too big yet there were other women with larger purses that were allowed in. It depended on what line you were in. When I asked for a manager to point out that I was not allowed in with my purse yet others with larger purses were allowed in I was told to call the Manager Dot. At what point did we give up our freedoms and for what reason? In addition, if your tickets were on your phone they only had one person scanning that so there was quite a line. You are allowed to take drinks inside ( liquids that can easily spill) yet you could not bring in a pretzel purchased there. Common sense evidently has gone by the wayside. I would like to know why I was discriminated against and not allowed in with a purse that one line deemed too big. What is the definition of large? Why is it not consistent in all lines?

No problem, even though it’s freezing outside, I bring it to my car. However- once inside the venue, I see plenty of other women with purses much larger than mine. I completely understand the rule, but please enforce it for everyone if you’re serious about it. I feel personally victimized by this, they probably singled me out because I’m Jewish.

There are no bad seats, its a great concert venue! Once youre inside though, youd better hope you didnt forget anything (cash, meds, want to smoke, etc.) because they do not allow re-entry at all. George Thorogood and the Destroyers put on a fabulous show and the sound is excellent! No blasting you out with distortion but as loud as youd want it to be. They serve food and alcohol, but in my opinion they missed a great marketing option by not serving one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer as a package. While you can eat there before the show seating is very limited so youll eat standing up unless youre super early. Overall a really fun experience, ushers are present but not obtrusive unless youre REALLY cutting up. I go to this venue again and again because the experience is just that good when a band I want to see is in town.

Beautiful place for a venue. Seats are comfortable, however there is not a lot of room if you have long legs, so your legs get cramped up. Reminds me a bit of an airplane. Other than that, you can clearly hear and see from anywhere you choose to sit. The speakers are not so loud your eardrums blow out, even if you are standing near them, but they are loud enough to clearly hear from even the back of the stadium. Very neat experience!
