What a great theatre, what a great play, what a great performance! We saw the one-woman show, Stealing Sugar. It was funny, sad, touching, and powerful.Looking at the program, we instantly regretted not seeing the other productions of the season. There had been a romantic comedy, a mime production, a holiday cabaret, an experimental dance-circus-acrobatic performance, even a melodrama. The variety of these offerings shows ambition and energy! Most of all, there had been Mother Courage and Her Children, one of the first plays I ever saw, almost fifty years ago. That had been a college production... I can well imagine the superlative heights that the Millibos own recent production reached. Im so sad I missed it!The Millibo is a small theatre, and the premises are given to touches of whimsy, but its clearly a professional endeavor through and through. During our visit, the lighting and sound dynamics, the fascinating set, and the technical support all helped create a vivid world onstage. The solo acting performance, by Millibo Art Theatre co-founder and Artistic Director, Birgitta De Pree, was astounding, hilarious, and also beautiful. Oh, she wrote the play, too!I had not been to the Millibo before because Im from Denver, and I make fewer and fewer trips outside town. Now, as I wrote above, I regret that - Im sure I would have enjoyed every production at the Millibo Art Theatre this season. And you know what? Its an easy drive; the theatre is very close to the highway. Only two blocks away! Im going to tell all my Denver friends. Someday well have live entertainment again, and I want to see whatever the Millibo Arts Theatre is going to produce next.

What a gift to the community! Such a cool theatre, with an amazing, welcoming staff. My two young boys are both attending MAT camps this summer, and it has been such a positive experience for them. It is clear that the staff care so much about the work that they do, and they show so much respect to my little guys! I highly recommend becoming involved with this theatre, as a participant or by attending a show!

The MAT has a great variety of shows, most with a streak of laugh out loud humor but also thought provoking. Birgitta and Jim are masters at physical comedy. Beyond their shows, their kids camps and classes are amazing- through observing a class Birgitta taught, I saw students give voice to their authentic selves, breaking through fear and inhabitions. Brava!

The Millibo is an absolute gem in our community. They have fantastic shows at a reasonable ticket price. It is a small and comfortable venue. The crew makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Skip dessert and have the cheesecake. The concessions, with full bar, are delicious and reasonably priced. They also do classes and summer camps.

Great fun for all ages. Year-long learning for skills you wont find anywhere else. Who knows when you might need to know how to ride a unicycle while juggling kittens and reciting Shakespeare, or walking on 6 foot high stilts dressed as a tree?Could come in handy for apple picking this Fall! Definitely not to be kept a secret for only this end of town!!!

We went to the Burlesque show they were having this weekend. They had some bigger performers for this show. Ticket prices were more than reasonable. They have a liquor bar available inside. They had a vendor selling burlesque type items. The atmosphere was inviting and extremely comfortable. There was nothing I could see that needed improvement. Way to go Millibo Art Theatre!

What a cool venue! I really enjoyed the show and the unique way that the theater is set up. There was great energy! The proximity to the old Ivywild school means you can meet up with friends for a beer at Bristol or a bite to eat at the deli before the show. I will definitely look for more shows to see here!

An amazing local theater experience! They have offerings for every taste and age group. We especially enjoy the circus acts and acrobatics. We loved The Crucible and The Importance of Being Earnest productions. The burlesque shows are fun (although the Christmas last year one was less good than others). Awesome talent in our own little town! Plus, its right by Ivywild, which makes for a total date night package.

We attended the showing of The Importance of Being Earnest and it was fabulous!! I wandered in the get tickets before the show started and everyone in the lobby, about six employees/people standing around, everyone turned around and welcomed me in with smiles and offers of help. We enjoyed the performance so much! It was absolutely wonderful! And the ability to enjoy a nice cup of tea and a cookie during the show was great!

Dave Shirley offers greatly enjoyable bursts of contemplation about splintered illusions of self and digitization of loneliness in Oddsville, co-written and directed by the exacting Robert Dubac who just last week charmed two sold-out audiences at Millibo. If you ever felt lonely or happy, you have to go to see Daves bleeding honesty and argue with him....Bravo to Millibo.....
