I have been a member since 2006 and I have found this to be a very friendly place by both the members and service and sale staff. I have had many a weapon modified and repaired by Josh at the east club and I have found his work to be excellent. I have bought a few weapons and accessories and find there prices are at or below what I would fine at other stores that sell firearms or firearm accessories. I highly recommend this gun club.

This place staff needs to get on the same page. It’s not a good thing when one employee has different info than another. The staff was rude and not helpful. When you can’t give basic info about your work makes me think you will give incorrect or lie about a fire arm. I will never recommend this place to anyone or buy.

They are always ready to help: offer suggestions & advice...if you ask. They are very patient with you as they explain things. WPGC treats you like family. :-)

This is a nice indoor range. Everyone who shoots here is pleasant. My only qualm is the staff. One of the young ladies who works there can be very unprofessional and rude at times. I’m also not quite sure wearing shorts is proper work attire at a range for staff, especially when Whistling Pines boasts about being high end.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wide selection available for rent and sales to members and the reservation system helps you avoid waiting on range time.

My family of four have been members for a little over six months. We have purchased two handguns there and the member discount is significant. We have rented at least a half a dozen different guns to try. We have taken gun classes and bought private lessons for family members. We never have to wait for a firing lane, not even on weekends. One Sunday they invited us to watch a shooting course that was going on. I joined this club BECAUSE its not open to the public! Its a private club so I dont understand why non-members are upset they cant shoot. Can you swim in a hotel pool without renting a room? All of the staff are helpful. Some are more friendly (talkative) than others but personalities vary everywhere. We love being members and appreciate all of the member services. Best gun club in town!

I’m not a member but I recently went in to the East location just to pick their brain because one of my firearms was malfunctioning. The gentleman behind the counter help me identify the issue and even allowed me to function test it without charge. I’ve been looking to join a shooting range, this will most likely be the one! Absolutely fantastic customer service!!!

Always great folks. So glad we joined. Friendly, kind, informative, honest, and low pressure. Would recommend to everyone. Never any pressure to buy from them. Always willing to talk and answer questions, always patient with us. We can be quite fickle and they have met all our expectations and never left us wondering if our membership was a mistake. Great prices especially for members. Above all its a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The facility is amazing and is state of the art. It has a very nice staff that is eager to find you what you need may it be a firearm, ammo or a training class. They offer carry concealed classes which are very good to have in this day of age. The owner is a very nice guy and he will work with you to ensure your membership stays active. Military folks are highly welcomed. As an avid shooter and marksmen, I highly recommend this place to anyone. They are a small family owned operation and they pride themselves on being a safe family oriented experience.

Recently bought a H&K USP 45 Tact.Definitely pleased with the purchase.Staff are friendly and a very welcoming clean atmosphere.Would recommend to anyone and well be sure to come back!

I am a member of Whistling Pines and I love this place. I shoot here pretty regularly and bring friends and co-workers here as guests. Staff are always awesome, place is always clean, and I never have a hard time getting a lane. You also cant beat the 100yd indoor range with the automated target system (move the target back and forth with a few presses of a button). One note: the signage for the drive up to the building is pretty small and hard to spot unless you know exactly where to look. It looks like a white garage sale sign and says shooting range, the owners should seriously consider a more visible sign. Also, you cannot access Whistling Pines from Centennial like google maps says, you have to go GOG road to Elkton

Range time 15 min less than paid for and staff treated me like a neophyte and very condescending. If a new guest is unaware of a rule infraction the decent thing to do is tell them in a reasonably polite manner and not make them feel like a fool. We all felt your intolerance and that fact is also well known in the shooting community.

Amazing service. I misdiagnosed a problem with my gun and requested that Josh perform a service. He evaluated my gun and determined that I was wrong. He diagnosed the real problem and fixed it, and he did it for the same price. I wish i could join this club if only a shot more.

I was taken here as a guest and the sign in process was quick and easy. Very accommodating for two lanes side by side. Lots of target options that I could choose from.

This place did an amazing job on my rare browning A5 took it to be cleaned and they made me aware of a few parts needed to be replace. They did much more than just a cleaning and for an amazing price for sure not your joe blow gun smith and range. Will be getting a membership soon. Thanks so much

The employees here were amazing in helping me to pick out a firearm. I purchased a handgun from them, and the woman who sold it to me was also an owner of the same gun. She showed me how to take it a part, where to lubricate it, the safety, decocker, and how it was an ambidextrous pistol. She also helped me to pick out a few accessories for the handgun, and answered every one of my questions. A great place to purchase a firearm, and get as much information about the various other models of the firearm. Ill definitely be continuing my business with them.

I love this place. Always clean and inviting. Staff is helpful and fun. They have everything you need and oodles of knowledge.

Friendly, helpful staff and a clean, well lit, and safe shooting range. Membership is relatively cheap and being able to reserve lanes online is great.

Have belong to this post GC for a little over a year now. From day one, have been treated very nicely there. The facility is ALWAYS clean an very presentable, the staff very friendly and most willing to help you with whatever issue you may have. Safety in the Club & firing lanes is very good. Really enjoy comming here.

Unfriendly service from beginning of visit. Both staff members had attitudes the entire visit and were not helpful. Seemed to be extremely impatient with guests of members. So if youre a guest, they dont care for you. Been shooting in Colorado Springs for a decade and will never visit whistling pines again. Save yourself the hassle and money and go somewhere else!

I have been a member of this club for several years now, and am very pleased with the facility and the management. They are very safety conscious, which is important to me, especially after having been to other facilities where the safety aspect was lacking. The lane facility is excellent, and the equipment has always worked well for me. I read some of the previous comments about rudeness of the staff and instructors, and frankly have never seen any of that after multiple trips to the range and taking several classes. I would highly recommend their handgun classes on concealed carry - I have taken several of these from Tony, and have always learned new and valuable information.They are set up well for pistol work, not as well for rifle, but are constructing a new range on the West Side that will take care of the needs of rifle and shotgun shooters. All in all, I find this to be a well constructed and managed facility, and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a safe and professionally run gun club. They also have gunsmithing and sales facilities there that I have used, and have been very pleased with those, also.

Took a revolver there to get sights (that I already had) installed since its the closest place with a gunsmith. I call them after waiting two weeks and their response is Yeah, its been done for a few days now. Thanks for the call.I get another gun that needs sights, and I take it to them, hoping the first time was just a fluke. It was. The second time it took them exactly one month to install sights, and again it took me calling them (they ask for your number so they can call you when they are finished) in order to find that my gun had been done for a few days.Id say only use this place if you want to call them daily, and if you dont like actually having the guns you own in your possession.

If your planning on taking rifles or shotguns then this is definitely not the place... they release people early due to the so called noise reduction I highly recommend other facilities who have better service and knowledge of firearms

Some of the best indoor shooting around they have an on-site gunsmith thats quick and great and their staff is friendly and pleasant

New West side second location offers a great 100 yard indoor rifle range, as well as extra convenience for those of us living on the west side of town.

Great place to shoot in doors gun smith took about a week for sonic cleaning but tells you he is good because he was backed up

Great place if you want to spend a lot of money. Very pricy for new members and very pricy for the monthly installments after that. Indoor ranges were nice and they had a lot of accessories available.

Went into whistling pines gun club today. I got pretty good service when it came to help and looking for what i needed. and found out a few things that i had to ask on. sadly they dont carry a brand that a bought and come to find out that i would have to take a weapon in to get it fitted for a holster. which is understandable. but they do take the gun safety very serously. to the point it has to be in a box. long story short they freak out about a weapon not being in a box or carrier when in there store.

This is a well-known professional based and safety organization. I absolutely love this place.
