My husband and I wanted to go out to eat somewhere nice for our 1 year anniversary of being married and let me tell you, we were more than satisfied. The establishment is located in a beautiful neighborhood and radiates elegance without the exclusive energy. We were warmly welcomed by our hostess and quickly seated. Our gracious server was incredibly nice and informative since it was our first time dining there. He consistently made sure we were doing well with our drinks and appetizers. Once our dinner was brought out to us, we truly got to experience some of the best steak and vegetables weve ever had to eat. Our server asked if we would be interested in dessert and was generous enough to offer us a complimentary creme brulee for our anniversary. We were so pleased with our experience and we will definitely be dining there again for future celebrations and events!

This place is great. Excellent staff, great views, and impressive service. Jay was excellent, but the food was to die for. I had the House Smoked Salmon, and the Salt & Pepper Salmon (perfectly cooked and seasoned). Best Ive had so far. Ill definitely go back for more.

The King room we stayed in was very nice and the grounds of the club were beautiful. However, we could hear running water through the pipes from our room and we could hear anytime the toilet was flushed in the room next to us. As far as cleanliness Id say most everything was very clean but there was a good amount of dust around the room. I liked the place, however, I have payed less for more in the past.

We loved the place. Very nice resort. Clean and upscale. View from room was great where you can see hold course. Pools were nice and clean.Room is big and beds are extremely cozy. Staff are very friendly. We loved Nespresso machine in the room.My only 2 problems were poor wifi coverage in the room and no microwave in the room.

Well worth the price, actually cheap when compared to Denver hotels. The views are magnificent as was the room. We had a very nice meal at the lounge and the pool area was also nice. Only stayed for one night wish it could have been more.

Winter blankets, but temp only goes down to 67. Hot all night. A band starts playing at 730am. Worst experience at a hotel.

We decided to have our family after Church Sunday breakfast at The Club at Flying Horse last weekend. The service was a little slow at first. Maybe we caught them just after breakfast rush because many servers seemed to be cleaning up when we arrived. However, after our server finally greeted us, service moved along fine. The food was amazing! I had the Traditional Eggs Benedict and loved it. The eggs were perfect and the hollandaise masterfully done. Our teens both had the French Toast. There was plenty on one plate for them to share, but they each ordered their own and still nearly ate it all. If you want mimosas and plan to have more than one, get the bottomless. Its a much better deal. For all 4 of us plus juice for one and bottomless mimosas for me, the total with tax was around $77. Honestly, it wasnt too bad for the quality of the food and the beautiful views. Were going to try to come back for their happy hour.

The course was awesome with great fairways and greens! The club itself was amazing, specially with so many activities at your disposal. The atmosphere and staff were respectful and pleasant! If you love a great view of the mountain for 18 holes or you want to go out for a romantic dinner check out the The Club at Flying Horse!

My partner and I stayed at the lodge over the weekend. I was told when I called two days prior to my arrival that they were honoring the social distancing practices but the lap pool would be available by appointment only. When I arrived this was no longer an option. This was never conveyed to me by the lodge before I arrived. We both went and purchased swimsuits so we could take advantage of some form of exercise. Then we arrived in our room to find a thick dust collection on all surfaces of the furniture. We called down to the front desk and the manager immediately came to our room to check on this concern. She stated she just dusted that morning and the day before we arrived. That was a lot of dust to collect in a couple of hours. The bed was so uncomfortable that my partner went down and slept in the car. We attempted to eat on the balcony and the very dirty small table was standing on three legs with the fourth one hanging in the balance. Our drinks slid off the table and landed on the ground. This was supposed to be a birthday celebration and it turned into a nightmare.

My husband and I went to happy hour at the club last week! We really loved the beautiful atmosphere and view! We loved the calamari appetizer and the steak bites. We will definitely be going back!

Went to The Steakhouse as a public guest for anniversary dinner. Lovely space, fantastic views, excellent service and staff attentiveness. The food was also quite good, but considering the price, not up to the level I had in mind. Little mistakes; slightly overcooked steaks, too little seasoning on the potatoes, too little of that fantastic chevre on the beet salad. Nothing that would ruin a genuinely delicious meal, but the prices have me a bit baffled. Ive dined in Michelin starred restaurants and spent the same money, and the quality of execution is significantly different. Its a great place, probably the best steakhouse in the area, but I do feel they are priced on the high side. Recomended with that caveat.

The view of the mountains are amazing. The room was decent sized, clean. My blanket had one or two blackish streaks, but you could tell the blanket got caught under the laundry wheel as it was the same width and mimiced a scuff on the floor from dress shoes. My only complaint is I wish I had gotten a room on the upper floor as all I could see from my patio was the small hill up to the golf course and the trees protecting the building. Staff is SUPER friendly and informative. It was the first time I had someone greet us outside. Would definitely recommend this place for a romantic getaway. It might have helped that I got proposed to in my room. :)

Beautiful resort, clubhouse and spa. Was fortunate to be taken here for a work outing and was blown away by the scenery, facilities and professionalism of the staff.

Had an amazing New Years eve here. We just hung out in the bar, clearly but the staff took great care of us all evening. Wonderful selection of wines and they are very talented mixologists.

Gorgeous views from the dining room. Service is slow although wait staff is warm & friendly. Food is so-so, depending on what you order. Battered fish tacos are a bust as is the French onion soup. Heard French dip was yummy!

We had a company event that was amazing. The venue has amazing views. The service was great. The food was impeccable. I couldnt have asked for a better place to have our party. The event was very affordable compared to others places. We will be going back for sure. Stacy helped put everything together and did an amazing job!

Amazing Steak and atmosphere!

What an absolutely gorgeous venue. The people here are anxious to cater to your every need. The quality of food, beverage and desert selection is wonderful. I had the opportunity to work with the staff at setting up our company Christmas Party, then an additional small event with them. I would highly recommend The Club At Flying Horse to Everyone! The patios with the fireplaces are wonderful and relaxing, the banquet rooms are adequate size for moving around and socializing, the Lodge took great care of my out of town people who came for event, the Steakhouse is stunning with its views, servers and menu items. Want to impress? Give The Flying Horse a call. They will fix you up with a night or day to remember. Thank you to everyone for such a great and impressive experience & we are sure to see you again! The 2 individuals I truly wish to name (though several others were a part) are Kevin and Stacy, you guys are just awesome.

First time we stayed here. What a beautiful property and settings. The views from the balcony of Pikes Peak are incredible. The room is luxurious with the finest of finishes. A/C was extremely quiet and the bed was very comfortable, great night of sleep. We would highly recommend staying here. One of the top properties in Colorado Ssprings!!!

My steak was really good, not AMAZING but really damn good. My wife had the fillet and said it was the best she has had in some time. The sides were AMAZING but paled in comparison to the service we received. If you are in the market for top notch treatment (and can afford it) then this is a dinner joint for you.

Weve been members at the club since before the golf course was built. The staff has always been the best around! They are always friendly, helpful, gracious and strive to provide you with the most enjoyable experience possible.A hidden gem for non-members is the Steakhouse. The food is impeccable (definitely get the New York steak!). For a quick get-away, head over there for Happy Hour... great sharing plates and they dont short-change you on the drinks!

We were having a celebration. So nice to get dressed up and go out some place nice. I had the brick chicken and Floyd had the steak and lobster. He said it was the best hed ever had, and he lived in Hawaii ate lobster all the time. Our waiter was so nice! He took this picture of us. Because we have early schedules we arrived for an early dinner. They treated us like royality. Thank you for a lovely evening and memories!

For our 23rd Anniversary, we decided to venture out of Oklahoma City & headed to Colorado Springs for a getaway.  We always pick a nice restaurant for dinner & this one did not disappoint.   From the young man at the valet parking to the young lady who seated us to the phenomenal waiter, Jeffrey, it was more than we expected.  The table we initially had wasnt in a great spot so when we asked if we could moved to a table with a view, they were happy to oblige.   Our dinner, drinks & dessert were the best weve ever had.  And the beautiful view made this our favorite anniversary dinner.

This country club discriminates against women in there single membership program. If you have a partner and no children they force you into a more expensive family membership. Youd think by now that country clubs would have stopped discriminatory behavior, but that is still not the case. If your partner is unable to work out, what on earth is the problem?

Excellent experience! My wife and I came here for our 20th anniversary get away and loved everything about it. The room with a mountain view was spectacular and all staff were friendly and helpful. The food at the steak house was delicious and everything was high end fabulous. We cant wait to come back with friends.

Beautiful facility with fantastic views all around. Service was A plus, attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Beet salad was wonderful. I got a filet medium rare which was cooked to the perfect doneness and was very tender but did not seem very juicy for some reason. I know the ribeye or even the NY strip with more fat would have been juicier but I have made filets much juicier than this at home.

Ambience was fantastic, the food was some of the best ever, the view is beautiful and the service second to none especially as it was carried out by Stacie-a knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and very skilled wait person.

Food and service are very good. Drink prices are a little high but not too bad. They do have a pretty good happy hour.

The club is wonderful. We had a great time. Beautiful rooms. The restaurant is very expensive, so be prepared if that is your eating plan. But its close to all sorts of other restaurants if you want something else.

My husband and I love Flying Horse. We not only have had our wedding here, and our anniversary, but we come here all the time for date nights and other special occasions. Diane Bice the Catering Director and the wait staff are incredible. They make every visit memorable. Our waiter, Troy, was incredibly knowledgeable about food and wine pairings and made the perfect entree suggestions for us. Once again, The Steakhouse at Flying Horse delivered. We can never say enough positive things about this incredible gem nestled against the foothills. I would give 10 stars if I could.
