I am so happy my family and I have found this place! I have been searching all around for a reasonably priced art SCHOOL around the area. This place actually holds regular classes weekly for kids in a nurturing setting. Not just a few-days-in-one-week kind of workshops. Although, the business does offer such workshops. Class sizes are normally fairly small, that way you know your child gets the important attention to help them expand their talents along with the freedom to let them be themselves. Rebecca owns as well as runs classes here and she is a pleasure to work with. She brings a wonderful balance of educational understanding of art and the love and appreciation that comes with it.

Our 6 year old daughter attended two art different 2-day art classes this summer and absolutely loved them. I appreciated the studios efforts to create a fun environment while practicing safety standards to keep everyone safe. We absolutely recommend PPAC and cant way to take more classes.

I had been wanting to get back into ceramics for years and had never found a place that fit what I was looking for. A friend of mine suggested Pikes Peak Artist Collective. I LOVE the flow of the classes! Rebecca (the amazing owner) offers as much or as little direction as you want. You are free to work on whatever types of projects interest you most. Personally, my favorite is the potting wheel!Rebecca is full of knowledge, enthusiasm and guidance. She makes you feel right at home in the studio! The monthly fee for weekly classes is very reasonable. I really enjoy the other students as well! The whole studio has an incredible vibe! I strongly recommend Pikes Peak Artist Collective!

Comfortable, fun and creative environment for kids and adults! Ceramics, painting and other medium is taught in small classes as well as one on one learning. Great location in the historic art district of Old Colorado City. Located right next to the new Wobbly Olive and Tapataria restaurants. It is even available to rent for a paint+wine evening, date night or Pop Up art show etc. Great location for this.

Joining the Adult Ceramics class at Pikes Peak Artist Collective has been the best investment I have made for myself in a long time. Rebecca does a great job of explaining different techniques, but letting you run with your ideas. The classes are intimate and she really treats everyone as an individual rather than a number in a large class. She has flexible hours and is always excited to see her students. If you are looking for something new to try and want to do something special for yourself, look no further. I highly recommend PPAC classes.

Erin Gillespie is the finest arts instructor I know. She is incredibly creative, effective, and generous, freely sharing her talents and expertise. She makes learning new approaches and methods both challenging and FUN. So long as Erin Gillespie teaches, I will be one of her many dedicated students.

Erin is an awesome teacher. Wherever you are in the development of your artistic talents, Erin will meet you there. Then, with each class she will help you to improve your skills and expand your vision of yourself as an artist. I have loved every class I have taken with her.

Ive been taking weekly adult clay classes at Pikes Peak Artist Collective with Rebecca for about 3 months and I couldnt ask for a better experience. I took a few art classes in high school but otherwise didnt have much experience with clay and I wasnt really sure what to expect. Ive learned so much about wheel throwing, hand building, carving and glazing and my skills have improved immensely since my first class. I like the free form of the class because I can experiment with different shapes and techniques and Rebecca is always there to provide constructive feedback and guidance. I love having time set aside each week to be creative in a cozy, relaxing environment with someone so invested in helping each student discover and develop their own point of view as an artist.

My daughter loves her weekly art lessons here and Rebecca and is kind and patient art instructor. Each week the kids work on multiple different art projects to learn a variety of techniques, including work on the pottery wheel! There are so many options for kids activities, but this one tops the list. Studio 101 is worth the drive even if you dont live on the Westside.
