Wonderful craft studio to spend a couple of hours learning how to create personalized signs and home decor. The staff and owner are very knowledgeable and guide you step by step in order to help you create exactly the look you want. They stand behind their work and will make sure you take home a beautiful project that you can not only be proud to display but also to gift to a loved one!

Fun times with friends and came home with a personalized piece of wall art that is absolutely adorable. Staff is patient and helpful to those, like me, who are not all that artsy! Without hesitation I would recommend giving this place a try.

I was at Board & Brush TWICE this past weekend and I loved every minute of both experiences. I love that at Board & Brush they are patient with you, and go at a pace that is perfect for everyone...the slower artists and the faster ones. I also looove the fact that they dont kick you out of the building right when your time is supposed to be done. I really admire that about Gina, Glen, and the rest of the staff. They genuinely want to help you create a masterpiece that will hang on your walls for years to come. I was stressing out when I realized I wasnt done with my projects yet, and there was only 15 minutes till our time was up. That didnt seem to matter, and it put my nerves at ease when we werent being bustled out of the store when those 15 minutes were up. So, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Board & Brush staff for being excellent at what you do. I will be coming back many more times to come♡

So much fun! Love my signs and cant wait to do it all again! The ladies were wonderful and creativity is encouraged. I highly recommend doing this at least once with friends, youll have a blast!

Turned away a mother of two at family friendly event. I was forced to purchase three projects when I only wanted to purchase to 2! Thought this would be a fun project to make with my kids 4 & 9. I will never return here again as this event was very misleading! And not FAMILY FRIENDLY

LET ME JUST SAY, this place was an ABSOLUTE memory. I brought my mom here for Mother’s Day and she had a blast. We love going to wine and paint nights but the place by our house shut down so for Mother’s Day I tried to find something just as fun and this place was IT. The only thing that I wish, would be for them to have more locations! We had so much fun, it was a great atmosphere, everyone was laughing and creating which was beautiful. At first, you may think the price is a little much but it is very worth your money. You leave with a beautiful product that can be customized 100% to your liking. A great event for all ages, plus they serve drinks for those who can endeavor, so being a college kid with my mom, it was pretty great.

Four of us grandparents were Christmas gifted a custom sign making session at Board and Brush at the North Academy location by our daughter Ann. The four of us had a lot of fun on a Sunday afternoon making our own customized signs. Make no mistake, this is a full hands on sign crafting studio. You need to wear a smock (provided) because it is down and dirty get after it crafting your sign on a huge flat bench with your friends and other sign makers. Under expert instruction you will be guided through all the steps from start to finish, with hands on assistance as needed. Youll walk out with a sign that YOU made yourself. All tools and a HUGE array of materials are provided. It is a whole lot of fun!

I came in here for a girl’s night with my sister and we had a blast. We will be back again. I messed up my stencil and ended up ripping it. The girls working were very sweet and made me a new one. The wait was a little long for the new stencil but they kept checking on me and my project. After I finished my gorgeous coat rack, the manager noticed I had the wrong hooks. She made sure I had the correct hooks. All of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a night out or wanting a gorgeous sign for your home.

This place is amazing! The staff was so helpful and kind. I ended up doing a project that was much more difficult than I anticipated and it turned out really well largely because of the help I had from multiple staff members. 10/10 would suggest trying out!

This place is great!! My friend and I had a wonderful time and we were very pleased with our finished pieces!! There is no comparison with Painting With A Twist! At Board & Brush, the selection is great, the personalization options are very unique and you have more opportunity to tailor each piece to your individual liking, the staff are exceptional (so much individual attention!), and I feel the finished product looks way more professional than pieces I have completed at Painting With A Twist. It’s definitely worth the extra cost and will be going back again!!

Board & Brush is a wonderful place to visit and work. I love all the amazing sign options there are and it is so much fun getting to help people explore their creative side!

Very unfortunate experience! We made plans for Date Night to paint an $85 dollar clock, but the owner Gina says the date night is not for one project, but you have to pay for two seperate projects/seats because your occupying two seats for seperate instructions. This business vision of Date Night is misrepresented...as the purpose of date night should be a couple working one project together. After any attempt to discuss this with the owner Gina, she became extremely unprofessional but asked us to leave. This is not the right way to treat customers, especially if there is a question about how pricing is per project or seat. Highly recommend skipping this business and visiting other paint places in town.
