You just dont find the level of service and knowledge that these guys provide around anymore. They are always considerate and answer any questions I have no matter how many times Im sure they have asked. The fish selection is one of the best around and the fish are always healthy. Take the time to stop by and see what they have. Prices are right and service it top notch.

Phenomenal first experience at P&P Aquariums. Rose and Rob took the time to answer all my questions, and I never felt like they were just trying to push a sale. Theyve definitely earned my return business. Also great selection of live plants at fair pricing, and any product or fish that they didnt have in stock, theyre willing to custom order for you. Got into the idea of setting up my first aquarium awhile back. I thought I was doing something wrong with my water (after a few cycles and started introducing fish) because the fish I bought from the PetSmart always broke out in ick a few days after purchase...what a pain. But I then read that can happen with chain stores, so I immediately looked up a local source.Plant and Polyp was great. Got a few plant products along with my Dwarf Gourami and he is doing great with zero issues after getting him and adding him to the family.Look no further if you want quality fish and plants.

Really quality aquarium store, personally my favorite in the springs. Rob the owner is a very knowledge guy that is interested in sharing his vast knowledge in aquatics to other hobbyists. That being said all the fish he sells are very healthy. I love how efficient he is on my custom marine fish orders. Will be coming back as a regular!

Beautiful display tanks with unique fish you would have a hard time finding at any other store! Prices are good. Smaller store , but owner said moving to a larger location within the year, so will be adding lots more! Will definitely be frequent return customer!!

Before I found P&P Aquariums Ive went to a few others that morning. Just to be ignored, and another told I needed an appointment 3 to 4 weeks from now... Although smaller as soon as I walked in the store, it was packed, and I was greeted right away. They listened to my questions and concerns, and without hesitation answered all my questions. They helped me right away, and I didnt feel pressured with anything or felt like I was just a sale. I live an hour away, and I will always come here first!

This place always has great advice and such great animals and plants. They cleanliness and pricing of this place makes it second to none. And the fact that he has animals that you couldnt find if you tried at other stores or requested makes him that much better than everyone else in town.

If you love fish, this is a great place to go. The owner is very knowledgeable and polite. His fish are always in really good shape when you get them, and kept in appropriately sized tanks when theyre on display (usually big box pet stores have WAY too many fish in the tanks when theyre selling them).He also takes fish request orders, which is awesome. Hes special ordered fish for me a couple of times, and it made the difference between me getting the fish I really wanted. I personally have all freshwater but he also has a lot of the accoutrement associated with fish keeping, as well as a selection of saltwater fish and corals.I literally cannot recommend this place enough. If you want to get fish in Colorado Springs, skip the big box stores and come here. Youll get better service, better products, and better fish.

Ive been having massive issues with a green tank and came in with the intentions of creating a new tank based in live plants. I could have easily been convinced into just about any sale probably. Instead he suggested I hold off and we work on my tank chemistry. Did some water tests and everything seemed normal so the next two comments were a blessing in disguise. He said....you must keep your tank light on a lot and do frequent water changes. I agreed and he said....well stop. WHAT!?! permission to not clean my tank!?! Yes! We developed a plan for pinpointing the issue, which was way better than petco who is like add these 400 things and pray. I will be back and would suggest anyone else give this shop a go too. Tank you very much for being so honest and e-fish-ent! (See what i did there).

Went in this shop tonight to buy some freshwater plants for aquaponic setup..... it was awesome. Owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. This will be my go to store from now on! Plus all the other shops in town close random days of the week or wayyyyy to early. He stays open normal hours like a normal business that wants to earn money. And so I will give him my money, not them. Hope he gets a bigger shop and all the customers, this business deserves it!

Best aquarium shop in the springs. Owner is very knowledgeable and if he doesnt have you what you need he can probably order it. Fish are separated appropriately according to types of water needs, size, and aggression and seem very well cared for. Prices are also very reasonable!

The guy that works there is great. He knows so a lot. Tanks were the cleanest I have seen anywhere. Fish are all healthy. Has both fresh and saltwater fish. Has great equipment at good prices. Definitely going to continue doing business here.

The owner was really nice and knowledgable, totally non judgemental since Im just starting out with live scaping, sometimes you dont get that from other fish stores. Variety of live plants in store and he told me to call sundays to request anything when he gets the list from his supplier. Bought two really healthy amazon swords from him that Im sure will do great in my 30 gallon. Will visit him again to refresh the betta tank :)

Setting up a fish tank for my daughter and decided to give this place a try. Will never go anywhere else. I do not like stores whose interest lies only in taking your money. This amazing store owner talked me out of buying more fish than I should. Rather than taking my money, he treated me like a person and helped me do the right thing for my tank. He educated me, he treated me with respect, and now he will always have my business.Any business owner or manager could learn how to operate by visiting this store.

The owner/worker was on the phone the whole time and didnt say or knowledge us in there. All the fresh water fish had on the tanks not for sale wasnt even worth the trip there.
