Its very well maintained. Well marked.A good paved trail with a 4 mile round trip walk. The trail is mostly flat.There are plenty of places to sit along the water as well as a free little book exchange.For those who care or need it, the Port-O-John is large & easy entry.Theres also a boat slip with plenty of parking.

Very pretty, easy trail. Great for small children, fishing, people who have trouble walking, etc. Im not 100% sure but it seems wheelchair friendly as well.

Leisurely walk down by the Appomattox. Google maps will not get you to the right place, address is 265 Charles Dimmock Pkwy. Trail ends rather abruptly with a sign that reads “trail end”. Views are not as pretty as other trails on the Appomattox.

Roslyn Landing Trail is my go to place for walking. The park area and trail are both well maintained. I like the distance markers and its 1.5 mile length is perfect. Check out the beautiful view at sunset!

Good 1.5 mile trail along Appomattox River in Colonial Heights. Can extend to a good 5K walk/run. Pleasant.

Yes, this is a nice trail to walk. However, I could not find a way to get to it when following the map to this point. Go to either the Appomattox River Trail Rosyln Landing Access or the Appomattox River Trail access point behind the Holiday Inn.

Went to fish, didnt have any luck but the trails are well maintained. I just wish they would take the time to clean up the ponds

Pretty nice and quite. Great trail if you like to walk or run also great to take the dogs out for a walk and you can find doggy bags along the trail.
