Awesome adventures in the creek behind Lansing pool all the way to the bike trail

It is a nice little park but it needs a repaving so badly it’s almost rendered useless for skateboarding. I was hopeful when the paved the parking that they were going to do the skatepark as well but no.

The ground is pretty much gravel. U cant skate that smooth unless ur on a long board or a penny board. A reg skateboard barely moves on that ground. It would be great if it were repaved .

I took my girls here for my eldests 6th birthday. The pool area cleaned up quite nicely from the various shades of green it had prior to the start of the season. At any rate, girls had a blast and I even got an unsolicited best birthday ever comment from the eldest. They have a sprayground for the little ones that either do not want to go in the pool or want to run through the water jets on their way out. After the pool closed we hung out at the regular playground which is nice but could use some fixes. I didnt realize it at first but in addition to plenty of picnic tables they have a couple of grills of youre into that sort of thing (including one thats the size of 2-3 normal ones you tend to see at parks with such accommodations).

Older facility, but they worked to make it possible for our team to practice. A non-standard length pool, we had to provide lines, but a working pool is a great practice space

Some equipment needs to be repaired. Lots of yellow-jackets.

It was nice and clean. Not to crowded.

The skatepark needs new asphalt asap! But they need to move the ramps when they do it. The ramps dig into the asphalt creating a nasty lip to catch your wheels on. If youre gonna skate here throw some big soft cruiser wheels on your board. Like the ones youd see on a longboard. Othereise itll be like skating on cheese graters. Bikers wont have a problem though.

You can grill out and they provide trash cans.. its a ok sized city park with jungle gym for the kids.. also a public pool free to cohoes residents. But the pool can get very overcrowded and there is a lot of foulmouthed people. If your ok with that then

Anytime I bring my child here to swim, the pool either closes because they hear a dump truck(thinking its thunder) or someone goes to the bathroom in the pool. There are adults smoking near the pool and cursing. The bathrooms are disgusting.

Nice Park to eat lunch at the picnic tables. Not much else there. Use to have summer concerts not sure if they will be having them in 2018

Nice park in Cohoes for the kids to play.

Not the same place I remember as a kid. Time has really changed this place.

No handicap parking. Free WiFi available though.

Too many people in the pool at once. Price was goos but bearly any elbos room to even swim.

Creative variety of playground equipment. Part of a middle school, so avoid with your toddlers during school days.

People that have fun we cant even swim or do a cookout because the pool is so full
