Recently purchased a firearm at The Firing Line. I dealt with Anthony for almost the whole process. He was respectful and he answered all of my questions. He didnt make me feel dumb at anytime no matter how basic the question was. I was able to rent the same firearm and try it out on the range before purchasing, which was awesome. The place is clean and the service is great. All of the workers there were polite and understand how to speak to people. Would recommend anyone wanting to buy a firearm or to shoot on a range, to go to The Firing Line.

This is probably the best place to go shooting indoors .. The staff is excellent and knowledgeable.. Their prices are great as well

Honest and fair Shop. I have shopped in a fair amount of gun shops and ranges in there valley, and this is the only range/gun shop I feel comfortable to go into. You don’t get pressured, teased, humiliated, or accused of not knowing something. Everyone there is awesome and great to deal with. I honestly have been a member since 2012 and will continue to be a member.I have read some other people’s reviews of the firing line and quite honestly it’s upsetting, and the only reason is someone didn’t get the answer they wanted to hear. Laws are laws, and rules are rules. . We’re all in a time of uncertainty and lots of questions, so for some one to be all keyboard warrior and write a bad review of a place that’s is truly a great place of business is wrong. The Firing line has always been honest and fair with firearm pricing and accessory’s. My point is, to who ever is reading the bad reviews please don’t believe 1 persons opinion and find out for your self. Over all great business ! Great staff ! Even Steven with his looks! Highly recommended !!!

Great atmosphere. I have a family membership here and wouldnt go anywhere else. I sent my daughter through their firearms training courses. Great place to spend the day.

First time there and had a great experience very professional people and even though did not follow instructions they treat me very well excellente environment.

Awesome shooting range. Especially being only five minutes away from my home. Good hours, as I can make it in time to shoot in the evening right after work. Friendly workers. Went there this afternoon to do my off duty qualification, place was super busy so I was expecting to be ignored like all the other places in town. Not the case, the staff work efficiently, all the staff was super nice, very helpful, and very articulated with directions. Had a great first time experience there and will definitely return for business. Keep up the good work guys.

Went there for the first time was greeted and was talked to professionally the staff and owner answered all my questions I had and took the time to make sure I had everything in order. Steven helped me out a lot at the front desk I had asked for his personal opinion on some things and got back what I felt an honest non biased answer. Ive talked to two other employees there and got the same results so thats why I recommend this place for first timers and beginners.

What a awesome range! I take pride in shooting at ranges through out California and you wont be disappointed here. Ive moved to town and went searching for a range that had what I needed. Price, location and overall value played a role in choosing to become a member here and they definitely met all the marks. Really enjoyable class from being a novice and not ever firing a firearm. After this course myself and my son we feel confident on handling a weapon. Kudos to our instructor Jerry, very knowledgeable from the current laws to how to proper handle a weapon. I enjoyed the life experiences he shared. Would recommend this course.

I used the indoor shooting range this past weekend. The facilities, protective eye wear and ear muffs were clean. Customer service was excellent and attentive. I really enjoyed my time there shooting and was relaxed...felt comfortable. I will be looking into a yearly membership here.

Great indoor shooting range. Ventilation is great. As a member I am kind of biased though. Best part is that the weather has no effect like it does on the outdoor range. Dont have to wait for others in order to check your target. Gotta get used to the guys at the counter. It is not your normal retail establishment where you expect them to kiss your ass. I love the place. Been a member for 2 years and will continue.

I gave this place a 3 star because this place seem to be a great place to visit and the staff is very knowledgeable. I couldnt give it a 5 star is because I am a first gun buyer and I wanted to test out a couple firearms before I make my first purchase. But due to the suicide policy, I cant because I dont have a buddy with me or my own firearm. So its a inconvenience for me to ask someone out from their schedule just to come with me so I can test one out. I already completed my waiver form, which I thought thats all they needed but I totally understand their policy and insurance basis.

Im going to be nice and give you guys a 5 Star even though my first time visit wasnt up to expectation. I had a employee giving me the look like im a beginnger on firearm until i tell him i do own several firearm already before he ease off me alittle.

All gun ranges have lanes and targets to shoot at but I feel a good range is always clean the staff has a great attitude and professionalism and always courteous. My wife and I decided to choose a gun range close to us to use more often. Our 1st visit we were meet a courteous and well informed staff who where actually nice to talk with. I continued to shoot there a few more times and was more so impressed by the staff and decided to join the range as a member. I cant say enough about their professionalism and great attitudes. I recommend this range to anyone no I really mean, to everyone!

Great place and friendly environment. I remember the first time I came here with one of my buddy. I asked to see a pistol. An older gentlemen hand it to me and noticed that I wasnt too comfortable with it. He asked Look like you are having a little trouble there. Do you know how to handle a pistol? I was a little embarrassed and told him no. He smiled and said Here let me show. He took his time educating me on how to properly handle and inspect a pistol. Even took his time to help me decide whether I am right handed or left handed. I told him I fired long gun and pistol before but for some reason, I prefer to shoot pistol with my left and long gun with my right. I told myself when I have the money I am going to buy my first pistol from them. Will come in to by a gun soon! Thank you for such a memorable experience.

The Firing Line in Clovis is the best indoor range in the area (IMHO). Aside from being a brand new, top notch, well lit, well ventilated facility, the Owner and staff are very customer service oriented. The pricing is reasonable and being able to rent handguns by the caliber rather than singly really helped me to narrow down the gun that I eventually purchased. I searched online and called around town to many of the popular gun stores and found that the price for the gun that The Firing Line was giving me was best value (after my member benefits were factored in). I am a member now and love the convenience and ease of shooting. No drama, no attitudes, just good clean fun!

Ok. I almost laughed when they said, if you get a jam and can not clear it... But I do appreciate there safety matters. Good guys. Nice place to shoot. Hope iasues with neighbors are better .

It was our first time at any shooting range with a party of 4 (2 couples). We never really shot before and the guys gave us a good and fast explanation as to what we need to do etc. etc. safety wise and whatnot. The facility is okay; not that weve even experienced any other anyway and loved how the guys did not hesitate, but were glad to help us on how we wanted to try all the selection of guns that they have for the range.

Overpriced, tried to sell my mother on spending more money than was necessary and wouldnt explain their product to me, kept repeating whatever works best for you when I kept asking for them to explain the man behind the counter ignored me only talked to my mother while the other stared me down for 5 minutes (I counted). I would suggest any shop besides this one considering the customer service and seeming lack of knowledge

I learned to handle, care for, fire riffles and handguns at the age of 7 and stopped at 12 when my late grandfathers health prevented him from supervising me while doing so. 20+ years later just after I purchased a pistol from a local dealer I went to The Firing Line for the first time and explained this to them.These guys are straight up professionals!!!!! They graciously walked me through their rules, explained everything I needed to know about the handgun I was about to practice with (without insulting me), and I am looking forward to returning right after I pick up my pistol.This was an excellent first experience at an indoor shooting facility. Its nice to be able to go as a new-be and be treated with respect. I love this place and recommend it to everybody at all skill levels. They know what there talking about and are very humble group of people. The prices are good and the facility is clean and organized.

Great experience. Guys there know their stuff and are respectful. It was my first time there and they treated me like a regular. It can get a little pricey if youre renting and doing a lot of shooting. Rented a glock and bought 2 boxes of ammo and spent $75.

Clean facility, very friendly. I have seen them spend extra time with a few individuals who were new to firearms to make sure they knew how to use one safely.

We brought a group of guys to shoot, and had an awesome time, the facility was very nice and clean, atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was knowledgeable and gave great advice. I would highly recommend The Firing Line to anyone looking to have some good clean fun, and for someone who is looking for a different experience than the same old night out. I have only been in once, and I plan to return soon. But on my first visit, the staff were very courteous and welcoming. The facilities were amazingly clean, but more importantly, VERY well ventilated and well lit! I wish them great success at The Firing Line. If I could afford more ammo, I would definitely buy a yearly membership.

Pretty nice place to go shoot. The staff is probably the best Ive experienced for a gun store. They werent rude, or complete snobs(which is rare for gun stores). The facility is clean, and they have a pretty big selection of rentals.

Well this place was great until I heard them talking down on my co worker who is a firearms instructor. We both are firearms instructor in the military. He is an excellent shooter and have taught many people on firearms fundamental and he himself is a designated marksman. To learn of such great disrespect towards him is unacceptable. You have customers that are skilled in many levels and to look down on people who you dont know and to take your ego to work with you is disgusting. Being the humble man that my co worker is he did not mention what he does for a living. This place lost my respect. Oh and by the way their prices went way up.

Went here several months ago with my husband to figure out what handgun we might want to purchase in the future. The staff was accommodating to our wanting to switch handguns frequently. We had an issue with a few of the guns stovepiping but it could have honestly been user error. Our experience here directly led to our first handgun purchase. (CZ 75 BD) Thanks!

I frequently travel from SoCal to Northern CA. Its a long ride and The Firing Line is almost in the middle of the trip. I stop by and blow some holes in the air. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. The range is clean, good ventilation, I can pick up my own brass, practice my skills and do what I enjoy. Some of the negative comments made me want to write my impressions. Sounds like someone had a bad hair-day and didnt hit their targets. Dont blame the staff or the range - GREAT PLACE and I have been to many.

The indoor range is nice but the people working there are complete jackasses. All they care about is getting your money I understand safety is priority but dont act like a jackass to your customers. Show your customers you care about their safety as well as yours. Not yell at them and treat them like idiots.

Girlfriend and i went there today for a couple hours. Staff is very friendly and informative. We are both beginners and didnt know much about the guns. They have detailed descriptions along with that to expect and also provided there opinions. Will deff be going back to shoot and purchase a gun.

Got my CCW training here and was the best I have attended very knowledge instructor and the range is clean bright and customer friendly.

Unapologetically, does not honor veterans service with same discount given to active service military. Poorly maintained gun rentals that stovepipe or misfire two out of five shots. Practice ammo overpriced for the quality of what they use. Practice ammo has many misfires. Some staff have zero customer service skills. Condescending and snarky.

Ive shot there a couple of times and will continue to do so. I bring my own weapon and ammo so I dont rent. When I did though you only rent the ammo and get to use any weapon as long as it shot that calibur.

Terrible service. My mother came home today from this place crying because one of the employees was criticizing her for asking questions. He was rude, demeaning and condescending. He made my mom feel like she was being needlessly attacked. When has it ever been wrong to ask questions, especially ones that might potentially affect the safety of the people in the shooting range? You guys really need to hire instructors who have patience and are considerate. Your employee questioned her on why she was even there...Im not sure how you guys are supposed to attract customers with that kind of attitude. I wouldnt even give this place ONE star :|

The Firing Line:I came into the shop at 5:00 to pickup a PPT. I also wanted to perform another PPT with a seller. Both the seller and I were there ready for the transfer with all necessary paperwork in hand. They refused to help us because they were short staffed and “busy.” Looking around the counter there was one other person in the store besides us. He also said a CCW class was incoming and that they would be busy with all of the class people coming in. I am a paying member of The Firing Line. They could have went the extra mile and serviced me, instead they refused and lost a customer. I will not renew my membership or do anymore business with them. Most of their counter staff including their manager are rude and unwelcoming.

This is a beautiful place, staff is very knowledgeable and I had some questions on my Ar and they had all I needed ! Legit hands down the best costumer service in Fresno! Thats place is the real deal come check it out !

Recently started coming here about a month or 2 ago. Im not quite into firearms nor all of its accessories (not against it either), but have been convinced to learn more about them. Ive practiced here a few times... will say theres a staff member here, sooo good looking ooof. So if you want good eye candy, do go. I also dont mean that in an offensive way. Secondly very clean environment (: tried out their rentals a couple times, as soon as the staff would see us coming through the doors they were at the counter to assist us in switching in a new rental, so I loved that theyre attentive, also always asking if were good on targets and ammo, dont know if thats just how they make sales, but I took it as making sure their customers had what they needed. Ammo for rentals was a bit much, but it obviously wasnt money I wasnt willing to spend, and to be honest trying out a couple of other ranges the prices were pretty much the same. So really no big complaint there. However I read another one of these reviews and the person spoke of how outside temperatures does not affect the inside, I have to differ. I went when the weather was still nice and the indoors remained cool, but now the valley has hit deathly temperatures, the indoor range has become a bit uncomfortably warm. We left a bit earlier than we usually do because we became overwhelmed with how hot & humid it had become inside the shooting range. I couldnt focus on shooting anymore and actually started sweating, (I dont sweat easily, even working out). I went to the counter to do a rental exchange and joked to the cute staff member after he had asked if I needed anything else, I stated, Yeah, can you turn up the a.c. in there? He chuckled with a response and said, I wish or was it, Yeah, Ill get that for you right away I was too distracted by his nice arms but he had a good sense of humor even though it was slightly busy. & thats the story of how I fell in love. Just kidding, I dont blame the range for the crazy heat. Moving on... Ive compared prices for membership online, and the firing line does seem to have the best prices and deals on a certain things. I hope to become acquainted with him, I mean with the staff and crew, for I will soon be needing classes for firearms permit and CCW. I will be establishing an annual membership tomorrow with The Firing Line. Lastly, I really only wanted to review because it looks like they really respond to every review and being how I have nothing but good things to say, I thought why not, plus I would love to see their response. (Fingers crossed cute worker is there, know that I know youre a human being not an object, please dont deny me as a patron for my odd sense of humor, we like this establishment and apologies are not a problem if need be from me). Very disappointed. Do nt come here as a solo shooter and look to rent. Staff claims that it is an insurance policy they have. Been to several ranges that only need a point of contact to let solo shooters to rent. And apparently none of the staff except the owner has a clue on the insurance being used.
