Tried to speak to the owner regarding a employee complaint and was meet with hostility and told to leave the propriety. I was a member here but will never be back and no one I know will ever go there. Do not waste your time going here there are far better places to go for free

This place has really become a joke. The younger guys who work in the range house are garbage, zero people skills and respect. The prices keep going up and there are so many ridiculous rules you “have” to follow. It sure seems like FRPC is all about safety while you are in the range house but once you get on the range it’s a free for all. I have been a member here before, but I am no longer going back here. I would no recommend going here, find another range.

Great place for beginner shooters, had a fun experience with friends, one thing though is that they should expand the shotgun range cause theres always a waiting list to use it.Saturday November 10th 2018. An update to the review. Today we did not have a pleasant experience with one of the young range masters, he didnt seem to have proper knowledge of the range rules that were previously explained by a more experienced master before he came in. It was kind of a pain in the butt cause he was just bothering us when we had proper shooting position in the lanes. All was good from check in at range house but as soon as he arrived at the place and started bothering, we just burned all of our ammo fast and left out of there. I dont know his name but he is one of those Chicano type of guys. I think well try one of the indoors next time or search another outdoor that I personally like. Many range masters lack of knowledge of the ammo types used in the range, today 8/4/19 they tested my ammo, which was tula brand soft point but steel cased. I wasnt allowed to shoot it cause the lady inside the range house, I told her it was only the case cause was affecting the projectile due to steel magnetism. But still she stood her ground saying that the round was steel core. They should train their masters better on the ammo being used by shooters, I think she didnt studied science and saw the transference effect on magnetism to other non magnetic objects. Every time is getting worse because of their lack of experience, also they are charging more and more to shoot there, also you are forced to buy chamber flags even when masters in the range just ask you to show them empty chamber.

This was my first time shooting at this range and Ive got to say, the customer service was great. Both the RSOs working range 3 were friendly and courteous. The gal that checked us in was also super helpful and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back to send more rounds down range.

Ive been there twice now in the past 6 mos. Both times it was fast, easy, and friendly. Its hit and miss with the staff I think. Once I was allowed to shoot at the members area, the other I wasnt even though I was shooting the same firearms. The only REAL issue Ive had is one of the RSOs touching my firearm while it was on the bench. Granted it was in the line of his responsibilities of ensure it was in a safe condition with a flag but still, engage the owner of said firearm before touching it or it should be clearly stated whether they are allowed to do so. This way, I can choose whether or not to shoot there and I dont go off on a stranger for touching my gun. ONLY reason for the three stars.Between the two times Ive met and chatted with at least 6 members of the staff from on duty RSOs to the staff manning the counters. All have been friendly.I actually appreciate the manpower they put into the ranges to ensure everyone is acting safely. I take safety seriously and because I have children I take with me to the range it feels good to know there is at least one other person looking out for safe firearms handling. Oh, and Im not white.

I went with a group of about 18 people, they made us feel welcome, took care of everyones paperwork quickly, and were very friendly. The range is nice too, they have different targets you can buy from them, like a zombie, ninjas, pirates, or you can just bring your own targets. The prices are good too. Just follow the rules as Andrew mentioned and you wont have a bad experience.

Used to be a great range until they got new management. They now have range masters on duty at all times who will hover behind you while you shoot and sweep your brass away without asking. They will also offer to lend their lack of knowledge (had an idiot try to hold the bolt back on an AK LOL) They also now make you use chamber flags when you are not handling the gun. Ive never seen another range with this ridiculous policy and Ive shot in LA county ranges before.Ive also been bothered about my magazines once, which were legally pinned to 10 rounds. Last time I checked range officers arent LEO. You can now only use shotguns in the shotgun range. So if you want to sight in a slug gun, good luck. New management also seems to be hit and miss with replacing steel targets. Been twice when there was no steel target on the range I was shooting at.I used to be a member here but I will likely never return since the shift in management.

Wow... rude, unprofessional, uneducated, and uninformed staff. Shady legalities which allow anyone to come in simply with an ID (real, fake, or from other planets). No screening process. Any psycho can go and shoot whatever they like, with no previous training and no way to prove sanity or safety.Shooting ranges should be a safe place for people to either practice or learn, but how do you know you are truly safe there when anyone who comes in is not screened and could be a terrorist?

Well...Someone said they are rude and someone said they are racist..I am Asian and whenever I stopped by they always kind and nice to me.Also someone said they do not have any screening for person who using shooting range. And worry about psycho can shoot anyone?Poo HahahahHey girl, this place is a shooting range, NOT firearm training school, also scary Psycho?Everyone has firearms NOT only psycho but also me and others. If psycho comes, either he or she has to check whose gun is bigger than others first. For me, this is only 1 outdoor shooting range in Fresno area and their price is reasonable include range fee and shotgun shell, etc.Minor part is public restroom, no ammo for sale.
