Beautiful park and grounds. Husband and I enjoyed our time, during Autumn it’s just gorgeous. Breathtaking views of the Mississippi! Very clean park, didn’t see litter, or anything troublesome, the people in charge of park take pride in it and it shows.

Absolutely love it here, great view of the Mississippi River, a really nice bike/drive/walking path.It looks like a really nice place for a picnic as well.Found all sorts of interesting plants and fungi. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

Great place to visitThe castle turret is on one side of the park and the trails are on the other.There are lots of tables and grills to picnic and cook atThe trails are a challenge since they arent marked very well.The disc golf course is open and well laid outThe dog park is $3 and has a side for big dogs and a side for small dogs. Both sides have lots of obstacles for all size dogs for them to play with

Such a beautiful park. Love the old time coin operated binoculars to view the river. Great place to walk and take in nature.

One of the best spots to see the river. Bring quarters for your kids to experience the telescope. My son reminded himself of watching scenes in the game of thrones when he went up the tower like he was walking in kings landing and winterfell.

Gorgeous park overlooking the Mississippi. Drive the perimeter road for eye-popping vistas. Climb the tower!! Lots of play space plus and outstanding modern lodge.

When I can get to Iowa, I love to take my dogs to this park. Theres a pond for the dogs to splash/swim in, an obstacle course, plenty of room, plenty of water bowls, a dog bath, and a little area for the smaller dogs to play in. Also, the woman who helps run the dog park seems like a really nice person. I hope to keep coming back.

The drive was great, as was the views. But the castle structure could have had information regarding when , how and who built it.

Just amazing. The dog park here is so awesome they have a place inside it to where the dogs can swim. My dog had the best time ever and so did we. The park itself didnt look to bad, many places to picnic.

Great place to drive around and picnic when in Clinton. Gives you nice view of Mississippi River. There is no food dinner r beverages available for sale inside. So carry stuff with you if intend to spend more time

Very cool look out tower. Two playgrounds for the kids. It would have gotten five stars, except garbage was all over the place and there were no drinking fountains near the playground. Castle look out tower is neat though and you can go up to the top. No explanation sign saying why it was built or when.

Beautiful maintained park with good views of the Mississippi. Good lodging, good playground equipment, good for walking, and good for recreational sports like basketball or beach volleyball. Would definitely have picnics here, however you do need bug spray.

My son, step dad and I had a great time on my birthday there for my sons first time!!No litter barely any cig butts!The lands leveling was a little rough on him but hes a trooper!!

I grew up in Clinton. My family would have Breakfast Picnics at Eagle Point. My dad and sometimes his brother would cook breakfast. Always tasted better cooked outdoors!That was in the 50s and early 60s. Great memories!

Ive never seen a place so beautiful. I still havent seen the castle there. I will be going back soon to see it. There is a small waterfall, but how they have the rocks and plants set up,it is worth the time to see it. The widest part of the Mississippi is visible from the park. Its the best place to take your kids or grandchildren to see. There are a lot of things to see and learn about. Oh yeah! Theres a large playground and lots of picnic tables. Enjoy everyone

This is some what of a good place to go once in a while now. But a few years ago it was a great place to go to and picnic at visit and they also had a petting zoo there back about 6 years ago. Now a lot of the park has been damaged by vandelizem and people who just dont care about how it looks. I would only go here to picnic if I had to, but otherwise its really gone down hill.

A Jewel in Clinton Iowa. Rest and see the Mississippi River or take a walk. Clean and a great place to let the children run and play. A must see if going through Clinton.

Holy cow! Didnt know massive parks like this existed outside of St Louis and other large metropolitan cities. Was a beautiful space and give major compliments to the grounds crew!

An absolute pleasure to go thru this CITY of CLINTON PARK. With awesome views of the Mississippi River,. Huge Flower Beds. The Huge Pavilion that can be rented for Personal or Business Functions. A 3 Story Limestone CASTLE that Anyone can go in and go up the stairs to the top. Plus Many Swings for the kids with monkey bars etc. TRUELY a great place to go for a Picnic with the whole family.

I grew up in Clinton so this was an all-time favorite for myself and many in the area. It includes an old castle, a few parks for the kids to play at a really neat Stone Bridge a few great scenic overlooks, Pavilions for parties or get togethers, a lodge for indoor festivities, a dog park and a frisbee golf course. There are trails, wildlife, and lots of other things to see. Each year they hold a Civil War reenactment, the Symphony of Lights during the holidays and so much more throughout the year. This park showcases a few of the great things that Clinton has to offer!

My daughter and I took our lab to the dog park to get some exercise. A couple brought their dog in that attacked mine saying sorry he doesnt like black dogs. If they have had this problem before why do they take him to a public dog park. No serious injuries but ruined our day

This park is very well maintained and includes something for every member of the family. Trails for hiking(carefully), plenty of picnic spots, bike through the park, take in awesome views of lock and damn 13 pool, childrens petting zoo(certain hours) and old stone castle to climb up in for great views, botanical spots and winter sports when snow is on the ground. Winter holiday lighted display. Includes an indoor Lodge for special events, also with great views of the Mississippi(handicap accessible)

So many nooks and crannies to the best part of Clinton. Best part, its free! Great for all ages for fun, exercise, hiking, and relaxing. Just be careful of the bluffs, please. The last two individuals who died on the bluffs I knew personally so please exercise caution and follow the trails that are actual trails. If you decide to venture off, please exercise extreme caution and bring the proper safety gear and equipment.

It has some beautiful views, but it has seen better days.

I used to go there when I lived in Clinton. I would take my two dogs and they had a ball they would run play with other dogs and. Everyone is supposed to police everyone else. So Im guessing you can imagine what a nightmare it is! It got to the point to where you cannot go there without somebody saying something stupid to you or watching people just being piss poor pet owners. They need to figure out a way to have an employee that are all the time so they can keep control of the humans.

Eagle Point Park is a really nice park they have an area where you can walk your dog of course you have to join pay so much every year but its nice

Eagle point is a beautiful park, its a nice quiet place to go.

Having moved away from Clinton in 1982, I dont get back very often. Visiting Eagle Point Park is always very high on my list of things to do when I get home for a visit. While the park has undergone many changes over the years, it still feels pretty much the same as it did when we left. It remains a great place for romantic picnics, family reunions, etc. One of my favorite spots is still the overlook where you can get a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Being new to droning, Im anxious to fly my drone in the wide open spaces of the park and and getting some great photos and videos of the river and surrounding area.
