Beautiful and friendly staff a great stop on the drive down the Trace. The War memorial is also profoundly moving and set off a bit from everything else at the visitor center. It offers a nice place for reflection. This is well worth the time to stop.

This is a beautiful little spot! We have driven past it but never really noticed it. When we started riding our bikes, we actually stopped in. They keep it well manicured, and have some really cute little details; a caterpillar for kids to play on, a row of bird houses, a little shop and pamphlet store, a place to park bikes, and an area to walk the dogs.

What a nice Welcome Center, the two ladies who ran the center were super friendly and went out of their way to help and answer any questions of the history of the area. The center itself is very welcoming and was a pleasant stop for us as we traveled the Natchez Trace Parkway. They had a nice garden and the surprise find for us was the bronze statue of the Fallen Comrade, what a moving tribute to all soldiers, the story behind it is pretty impressive, making one think of the ultimate sacrifices they made for all of us. All we can say is wonderful job Clinton MS.

My grandma was one of the women who made the quilt on the wall. I grew up here and have moved out west. This is a nostalgic and historic stop. Every time I go the employees have wonderful knowledge and stories to share. My kids are entertianed. If you are visiting you need to eat at Cock of the Walk north of the visitors center. If you go a little south, the corner Exxon has the best BBQ in town.

We went to the visitor center to see if we could learn more about the German POW camp. The staff was friendly and helped us locate the camp.
