The online ordering process was quick and easy. The theater staff was friendly, and the theater was an exhibit in itself. There is a concession stand downstairs & everything is very reasonably priced. The cast put on an amazing performance. I would definitely come back and see another show. I’ve been talking about it with all my friends who are looking for someplace different to see a show.

Went to see Addams Family with my son. We both had a blast! The tickets were super reasonably priced considering the type of show being put on. The concessions were also a great bargain before the show and during intermission. Where else can you enjoy a night out with live theatre for about the same price as a movie at Regal or AMC

I do volunteering for the spot lights there. I make so many friendships and I met so many wonderful people of all sorts. Its amazing and the shows are phenomenal. We have done shows that include tons of lights without power and really this place is amazing.

This was my first time coming here to see a play and I had such a wonderful time that Im looking forward to seeing another as soon as I can. Everyone was very friendly, the seats were comfortable and the concession stand had everything from popcorn to sangria, the actors were great and interacted with the audience and I found myself clapping and cheering spontaneously thruout the play. This is a Cleveland gem and to those looking for an alternative to clubs, restaurants and movies this is it. 5 stars, no 10 stars, wait 100 stars.

Near West is a nice little piece of big city theater like you would expect to find in the outskirts of New York city, but nestled right in our own backyards in Cleveland. The theatre is very well organized, full of very friendly staff, and a very fun place to gather with friends and family for an entertaining night on the town. They are very kid friendly as well and host family friendly events like drg queen Story hour, which is always a good time. Highly recommended.

This was a delightful production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. It was a youth production of the highest calibre.

Saw the Windsong Chorus. Excellent performances. Intimate setting. Past alumni chorus members of the audience were invited to join the choir on stage for their last number of the concert. There was sign language for the hearing impaired too. Very nice.

I found the theatre to be really warm and welcoming on the inside despite its outside surroundings. Staff was kind and helpful, plus the performance was spectacular for a non broadway production.

Registered Youth engagement cheap to public, amazing programming and awesome amateur shows and plays at low cost but a great value due to high quality performances. Take a visit to a show one night. Big turn outs!

The theatre is amazing, handicap assessable. The talent of their cast is second to none. They are all inclusive and outreach theatre. Come see the musical Carnival you will love it!

Greatest intergenerational musicals. New facility with heat and air. Not like the old place. Right in the heart of Gordon Square Arts with choice of many local restaurants in walking distance.Valet parking is available

Choreography nice. But some of us had a hard time understanding words. Kids did a nice job though. Tickets reasonable price. Nice to see kids doing something productive.

Came to see a friend in The Hunchback of Notre dame. There is not a bad seat in the entire place. Tickets are affordable. They sell specialty cocktails for each show. The Quasi Quencher was delicious! Everyone that works there is SO nice and friendly!

What should be said about Near West Theatre? Its the most complete theater company in Northeast Ohio, giving actors of all abilities and age ranges a chance to explore stories from different than conventional angles. The productions are always first rate and the mission is completely inclusive of all. Near West Theatre is a winner!

Easily the best value for a live performance you will EVER experience. These are all non equity performers in a state of the art venue. Never a disappointment. The Gordon Square has plenty offer in food and drink and entertainment

Love this venue. They put on several wonderful plays for a very low cost. Every seat is a great seat! Lots of cute little eateries in the area as well.

Love this place. Great memories here as a performer in Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dreamcoat. The environment here is so uplifting positive and encouraging. Very liberal. So if you like places where everyone is accepted this is the place to audition at. Not to mention that Ive seen several other shows here, Carrie, Assassins, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast. All of which were unique and well done!!

Hunchback of Notre Dame... Awesome experience, really enjoyed it

This was NOT the Mary Poppins that most people would remember and to say that it was a compilation of the P.L Travers books would be also be incorrect. The play was disturbing and dark to say the least- combined with loud , busy, unorganized and confusing with NO scene flow would be more accurate.Mary Poppins herself was a perfect caricature, her only improvement would be less operatic version of the songs, but she was spot-on .Very disappointed, - WE (party of 5) have been attending the Near West Theater for over 15 years, this was not the little theater we have enjoyed. - we left at intermission.
