Great show. There is not a bad seat in this theater. Also has comfortable seats. Also, thought it was nice that they had complimentary coffee (Decaf and regular) that we could take back to our seats that was a nice touch. However, the staff was not as friendly as the many other plays I have been to in the other theaters at the playhouse Square.

The plays they show there are the most emotional In all ways possible!!! The seats are super comfortable and its very easy to find your way around. Ive been going to the Hanna theatre for 2 years straight and have seen 12 plays in total. I cannot think of anything wrong thats ever happened there in all the times and years Ive gone their!!!

The Hanna is the most comfortable theater I know for live theater. Seats are no further than 11 rows from the stage. Seat types from traditional to sitting at the bar. AND its the home of Great Lakes Theater!

This was one of the four venues for one of the parties welcoming us to our new quarters away from Manhattan. The seats were removed and we celebrated forty years of life in Manhattan, along with the future ....the next number of years, in Geneva, Hannover, and in the environs of Cleveland. The Hanna Theatre is on West 57th street, indicative of both our present, in New York, as well as our future, both in New York, and on The Henry Hudson Parkway, heading out of New York. While Europe has always been home, the time spent in Cleveland represents a brand new chapter.

Ww saw Slueth and it was great. The Hanna is the right size to make attending an up-close experience. I had read nothing about the play beforehand so everything was somewhat of a surprise, which made for a great experience. The seats are comfortable and the theater is well maintained. We have never been disappointed with productions there.

I had never before experienced a show at the Hanna Theatre until yesterday. I was truly impressed with all aspects of the venue, as well as the performance therein. The acoustics where phenomenal. The staff working the event were very pleasant and professional. In addition, the ambiance of the old theatre was superb.Frankly, there was nothing not to like from entry to exit, and to make things all the more positive, parking was a breeze.First rate experience! I make about a two hour trip to attend performances at Hanna with a friend from the Cleveland area. We love our times spent here! Weve been going to Playhouse Square for years now, but I do love the Hanna more because of its intimate feeling. The shows have been great and never disappoint! We have chosen various seating and there really isnt a bad seat in the house. We enjoy the bar and other offerings available, especially when we can attend a pre-show discussion. Being from out of town, we do make a day of it and have always enjoyed our times there!

Just saw Million Dollar Quartet at the Hanna Theater in Cleveland, Ohio. its about a night that really happened when Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis returned to the studio where they got their starts under Sam Phillips. As the program stated, it was inspired by an actual event. The theater is intimate, really connecting performers and patrons There are no bad seats. It is also beautiful and seating is comfortable. The ticket office is easy to find and today the ice cream was half off....it was from Mitchells.Definitely a 5 star experience!!

A part of the Playhouse Square that still has the glamour and brings skilled, fun performers. But the theater is smaller and so the experience feels more intimate. Intermission and the end of the performance are far less crowded as well, meaning shorter bathroom lines and that you really get to enjoy the space and not feel crowded

Watched Taming of the Shrew here, and had a blast. The space is somewhat intimate, but this only added to the experience. Great treatment of the play itself, the set gave a lot of opportunity for interaction with the audience, and the Lighting was interesting to watch. The theatre has a bar in the back which you can drink in the theatre, and I would recommend doing so, although it is a tad expensive.

Great decoration on the wall, and love the ceiling, the classic patterns are beautiful. Like the stage design, there are big candles hang together and will be hanged up sometimes. Review №81

Spamilton was AWESOME!!!The piano was needlessly overpoweringly loud in the system, and I could hardly hear the performers and I was 15 to 20 feet away from the speakers and the stage. This is the second production I have seen at the Hanna where those speakers were either too low or off, and the center cluster was too loud and ringing with feedback. Balance your system and get a sound person who cares enough to never let it sound that way for a live performance.I have worked in live entertainment for over 20 years and been a FOH A1 on multiple Broadway and off Broadway productions. Please hear this, it is a lovely space.
