CWRU, university space. Level and professionally maintained grass playing field, with lights for nighttime play and padding on poles that line the edges. There are plenty of benches on the edges for non-participant seating and events can be viewed from within Tink or from the raised pathway on one side. Restroom access and food in nearby buildings. Patrolled by security and blue light phones nearby. During COVID, masks are required even outdoors, no visitors to campus are permitted, and nearby buildings can only be entered using a CWRU ID. Field can be reserved by the CWRU community, and has been used for things like marching band practice, Quidditch club, Greek games, Holi colors, concerts, kite flying, or just casual games of soccer or catch. Named for the library the used to be on the site, which itself was named for I. F. Freiberger, banker, civic leader, philanthropist, and Adelbert College class of 1901 (now CWRU.)
