Best place to get amazing wine and beer on the east side! They are super nice and helpful, and will even offer to rapid-chill your bottle of wine whole you wait, if youd like! I miss going there now in the pandemic, because its just a fantastic neighborhood spot to snack & drink

The Wine Spot is full of people who are clearly passionate and knowledgeable about wine; but dont make you feel less than for not being a sommelier. Need a perfect pairing? Let them know whats for dinner, and they will match it with a scrumptious bottle of wine.

I would definitely recommend the wine spot! I ordered a bottle of wine on a Sunday to be delivered on a Monday to a friend for her birthday and they promptly delivered it along with what I wrote in the comments as a note to my friend with the wine. It’s nice to give business to someone other than Amazon and still get reasonable delivery times. And they had a great selection of wine and reasonable delivery prices. I’ll definitely order from the wine spot again!

The best wine collection on this side of Cleveland! Ive stopped here many times for my wine needs and beer too. The staff is very knowledgeable and will help you find exactly what youre looking for. Price is as expected when buying alcohol. Plenty of parking outback with a back entrance to accommodate. Will be returning for all my wine needs!

My sister suggested we try this spot for a low key drink before the cleveland orchestra Christmas concert because they are located not far from severance hall. It was wonderful, very relaxed atmosphere with bar and couch seating and this cheese plate the guy who was making it asked about our cheese preferences and seemed genuinely excited to be putting the board together, it was superb.

This place is honestly phenomenal, and I was in there for a very short maybe 5 minute period given with covid I wanted to zip in and out. Outside looked like a patio which would be so nice in that neighborhood with the wine selection inside. Just moved here from Colorado so I don’t know what it was like before, and the wine selection was really good and very modestly priced for good wine. I will be back again for sure, maybe when things get better next spring/summer that patio will be packed with patrons who like great wine.

Highly regarded wine shop but I didnt feel it. Bottles arent well marked. Staff was standoffish. To adjust to covid, you should clearly mark bottles so patrons dont have to touch every bottle.

A delightful shop thats also a bar. They have a wonderfully curated selection of beer and wine that you can take to go or drink in the store, as well as several taps and wine by the glass. Well curated selection of wines spanning various price points. I purchased a mixed case for a party that included a nicely priced Loire Valley Cab Franc, a couple of gems from Beaujolais, and a splurge Turley single-vineyard Zinfandel. Prices are fair. Discount for 6 bottles or more.

Lovely local place for fancy wine, beer, and drinks like scotch. Take home or drink there. Good atmosphere. Patio seating in summer. Knowledgeable staff will help to pick bottle. Focus is on more expensive drinks, but you can get cheap wine anywhere.

I love the pickle board made with various types of local pickles. You can buy jars of them, along with other local cocktail and condiment products, to take home. Oh, and you can bring in food as well or order from one of the Lee Rd restaurants.

The staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the wide selection of beer they sell. They make suggestions of similar beers to try. The best part is that you can buy a 6 pack and drink it right there in the store. Too cool! Check out the Wine Spot, you won’t be disappointed.

The Wine Spot has an impressive stock of beers from all over. Theres a good selection of local/Cleveland beer as well as Ohio and even farther afield.Some are chilled and ready to enjoy, while others are room temperature.Ive not shopped their wall of wine, but that looks quite impressive, too.

Best place to buy beer and wine in Cleveland. They have a fantastic selection of craft beer and wine. The staff is knowledgeable about their inventory and very helpful. An extra bonus is that they carry a liquor license that allows you to drink in the store. You can order in food and have it delivered to the Wine Spot while you sample their inventory. Great atmosphere, fantastic inventory coupled with a helpful and knowledgeable staff make this place a must visit.

We had a great experience with The Wine Spot. We celebrated my wifes birthday there with a party of about 30+ people. Everything was top notch from the customer service, to the wine and beer Elan picked out and the cheese/meat and pickle board they set up. The experience was great and everybody had a really nice time. Not only is this a really great spot to buy bottles of wine and beer, but it is a really nice environment for a gathering.

The store has a diverse selection of beverages, and the staff is kind, patient, and willing to work with people who have no prior experience picking out wine to purchase. Staff are down to earth as well and will recommend cheap wine or expensive; they aim to meet you where you are at on the wine buying spectrum.

I love this place. Every time I go in, I have wonderful conversation with owner and employees. Tonight I learned all about roses and now I feel like I can pick one out that I like! Its also a great place to sit and have a drink with friends.

Theyve got tables and couches in the back so guests can indulge in their purchases. Theyve also got some wines and about 8-12 microbrews on tap and a half dozen small cold plates. Theyll open your newly purchased wine for $10 and theres a quick chiller too. Theres a selection of bitters, syrups and garnishes for cocktails.

Celebrated my wifes 50th birthday at The Wine Spot. Elan worked with me to find the perfect pairings for the food I brought in. His selections were great. Elan provided wonderful descriptions and history behind the wines. The last bottles of several wines were quickly bought by those in attendance. Glad we had the party there.

The wine is over market price, so youre paying for the atmosphere, which is fine, maybe 4 stars if it was just that. What gives this place a 1 star, is the fact that the last two times Ive bought beer there, the beer has been bad. One of those times, despite me bring the rest of the beer I bought as evidence, the bartender told me that next time theres a problem you should bring back all of the beer and specifically the open beer I could just put in a paper bag. He refused to acknowledge that the beer was stale and tainted, which again is not unreasonable, but refused to taste the beers that I brought back (I mean, they werent going to resell them right?). He was certain that the only beer that was stale and tainted, was the only one I opened, hence why he was asking for it. I eventually just bought a new six pack. And to no surprise this was also stale and tainted. So I guess I should say that its been three, not two time Ive bought stale and tainted beer there.TLDR: they sell stale beer and agressively give you a hard time when you ask for a refund on bad product.
