It is a small Blick location comparatively speaking, but it manages to cover most major departments with a pretty decent selection. I wish they had a couple of the more high end oil paint brands, (which is part of the reason I go to a store in person over shopping online) but its a good shop for quick restocks on art supplies.Their covid-19 precautions are more robust than many establishments and that is much appreciated.

My 12 year old and I visited this store for the first time today. I cannot say enough about their huge art supply collection and the absolutely amazing customer service from the staff! They shared suggestions with us and even some of the personal projects they have completed themselves. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back!

People there were very frendly and very helpful. Wanted to order a set of very expensive pencil set and they were very helpful in filling my order. Because I had surgery on my foot the pencil set was sent to the store instead of my house. Because I am very slow in moving around, they were very happy to help me. Will be back there again to make more purchases. Thank you again Blick :-)P.S. keep up the awesome work because you blow everyone else out of the water

I was not sure what I was looking for but the employees were very attentive and helpful. They made me feel very comfortable. They were not very busy so two people helped me. When I picked up when I said I could use oh, they suggested something else that they said would work as well, and which did, which was much less expensive then what I had picked up. It was a good shopping experience and not very expensive at all. They had a very good selection

I wanted some special sturdy paper to print on, and Blick had something suitable and cheap (cardstock). They have quite a lot of art supply stuff, and the staff are nice and helpful. I dont know enough about art supplies to give a more detailed review.

My experience was a little weird, but young ladies there greeted me and assisted me when I needed help.

Extremely expensive and the same products can be found at Walmart or Amazon for 1/3 - 1/4 the price.I understand that you should support your local businesses, but its not my place to reward a faulty business model by being guilted into buying products.They DO have a great selection of paints, foam boards, brushes, etc. and Im sure that niche or specialists can find what they need here, but for an at-home-crafter or casual customer its just not worth it.Friendly and knowledgeable staff for what its worth

Needed two canvases and they had exactly what I was looking for. Also needed a fineliner and found two to try. This was my first visit and was very impressed with all the supplies. Many brands to choose from. Will be returning soon.

Customer service unresponsive. My entire order was placed on hold because one item was out of stock. I had to spend half hour on hold to find this out. Still waiting for a call back. Will not order from here again.

I wish there was a 4.5 star option. The only minor drawback is depending on who is there you may or may not be able to get help with your specific project. Other than that the store is stocked with whatever you need for almost any project, the people are very nice, and when someone is there who is familiar with the type of project you are working on they are very helpful. I would definitely recommend Blick!

I love Dick blicks. I find my very large canvases there which are very well made and they do not Warp. The only thing I have negative to say is I was there today and they were cleaning the floors with this horrible smelling substance. It actually gave me a headache. It was just horrible. I guess it was bad timing on my part. But I would think they would do that after the customers are gone for the day. I would have stayed longer in probably spent more money

The service there is excellent! Im a student at the Cleveland Institute of Art and I make frequent visits here, and everytime the staff is so helpful and kind. They will even look up questions about certain art supplies if they arent sure themselves. The store carries a lot of supplies, I have alway found everything I was looking for there. Plus, its easy to find things because of the small size. 10/10 would recommend

Small store, but they have a good selection of art supplies. Even had Copics out for you to test. Its cheaper to get some things online from the website. But if you have a store card theyll match it.

As a first-year Art Teacher who inherited a poorly stocked elementary school art room, I leaned HARD on the good people at Blick over the course of this year! I could frequently be found scuttling into the shop the evening before a lesson, shortly before closing, to buy out their current stock of poster board, linoleum, or bulk acrylics. Each and every time I visit:- I am able to find what I needed - with or without the assistance of the staff.- My spending is mitigated by some combination of coupons, specials, and/or my teachers discount.- The staff is wonderful: accommodating, helpful, and in good cheer.

Blick is a fantastic art store! They have all manner of high-quality materials for many artistic mediums concentrated in a small space so you dont have to look for ages. Much better selection than a big-box store, and shopping is much easier.The staff, largely art students, are knowledgeable about the products. If you get the free store card, they will always match their online prices if theyre lower than the in-store price. In addition to the art materials, they have a well-curated selection of quirky knick knacks that would make good gifts for kids or adults with a sense of humor. If youve only shopped Blick online, going in person will make you very happy.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience here. Kate approached me shortly after I entered and asked if I needed any help; upon seeing how clearly confused I was, as I responded in an exasperated “I have no idea what I am doing” (essentially), she proceeded carefully to listen to my progression in my experiences thus far with drawing. Armed with this, she made very thoughtful suggestions based off my input, and this led to my eventual purchase of the basics necessary to begin charcoal based art. Kelsey finished up my artistic training for the day by pointing me to charcoal drawing paper.I have a little ambition towards art at the moment, and these two (Kate and Kelsey) made sure to show their own ambition towards art through their help and suggestions. I walk away inspired as well as satisfied with the overall experience.Highly recommend, support this place!

Friendly staff with a bit of a hipster vibe. This store seems geared towards the local college students, but also carries some items that would appeal to crafters. The store is not very big, so they have to choose carefully on what they keep in stock, but they do have several high end lines of paints, markers, pencils, pastels, paper, etc.

Great place centrally located in the heart of Cleveland Heights just off of Coventry where you can find just about all the art supplies you can think of. Not all, but just about.They will also give a discount if you are a college student, and bring in your syllabus / supply list from your teacher.

Walking distance from Coventry, so its great to start shopping at Blick and then head down the road after to other stores like City Buddha or Big Fun. The selection is good, the staff is knowledgeable but the pricing system is very confusing if youre trying to use a coupon. They match with deals online so Ive had 30% off coupons that didnt mean anything even after being in the store an hour budgeting to spend a high enough dollar amount of a supply (like Golden paint for example- it goes by brand), then that supply price is different because of magic at the register?! They do however now have a full selection of Copic Markers and even the Airbrush system for them which Ive not seen in any other brick and mortar in Cleveland!

The store itself is fine, well stocked for such a small store. The staff however is a different story. I went there and when I noticed the price difference between the store and the website, I asked if the store priced matched the website. The difference was a huge amount Copic markers are $7.99 each in store and $5.24 each online. So, after a long explanation of the reason they DO NOT price match. I leave the store. When I leave I grab a store flyer and low and behold, on the back of the flyer 100% lowest price match guaranteeThe staff is basically clueless.I

Wide selection of artists needs. Quality items at reasonable prices. Highly recommend and they are online as well.
