This is the best park Ive been to the paved walk way is 3 miles they are adding more so it will be 6 or 5 miles. When everything is open Im sure it is very busy, great park the best one Ive been to so far on land not on beaches. Really a place to stop at if your in the town and you feel like a walk.

Not what I expected. My expectations could have been too high. Overall, what was available was really nice. Great creativity. Just expected more lights. This was my first time visiting. Id heard that there was an decrease in lights from previous years. We still enjoyed it though.

Expect a long line approximately 2hr plus. $15 per regular cars/trucks. I always come back every year and even the wait line has lights to be enjoyed. With COVID this year the wonderful gift shop/smores and such is closed.

Waited 3 hours. Be nice to have people take money before you get to the gate to pay. Yes it was $5 night. Oh well, we enjoyed the lights anyway.

First of all the place is beautiful and is simple and easy to find. I would recommend driving through this place when you get the chance. It’s a big place full of activists to do. Plus it’s well maintained and it is absolutely georgous. I would totally recommend going for a drive here.

Tanglewood camp ground has nice RV sites that are spaced apart and paved. Campground has lots of rules and restrictions that enforced all day and night. So if you go camp in silence while outside this is your place! Happy camping

Great place to visit. Only $2 to enter. Walking, running, and biking paths available. Plenty of places to sit quietly or to take the family for a picnic. They have horses, pools, playgrounds, golf and tennis courts. There are also barns and horse riding to explore.Really great place.

I enjoyed the time we spend at the festival this year mostly because after the struggles of this year we had a time to relax and hope that next year will be better.

This is one of my favorite places in the Winston/Clemmons area. I love the peaceful loop along the walking trail, and I enjoy seeing the horses and pasture spaces. Ive also spotted some deer in the woods enjoying themselves as I passed by. Plenty of people bring their dogs for a nice walk, and others enjoy a gentle cruise on a bike, but most people are just out for a walk or jog, sometimes with kids. The trail has some gentle slopes to keep things interesting without being strenuous. Also, on my most recent visit, I spotted a black cat enjoying itself on a bench near the horse barn, so that was quite the highlight.

Will totally recommend for family with little children as it has cycling tracks and childrens play area. Also has golf if youre into it.

Campsites are large and paved, BUT, you must love rules. No fire pits and no outside talking after 10 pm. Park lost power while we were here, so onboard generators were fired up. Low and behold, we were informed they had to be shut off from 10 pm to 7 am, even though temps dropped into the 30s. Mind you, there are senior citizens and babies camping here with NO heat!!!! I will never come back to Tanglewood and will never recommend it to anyone else.

Campground is part of a beautiful park with great walking trail and other activities. Pet friendly. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Centrally located for great day trips to mountains and throughout the Triad area. 3 full-time hosts who are very friendly and take meticulous, prompt care of cleaning and any issues. We camped in a self-contained trailer, so we didnt use them, but the bathrooms are extremely clean, even though they are older. Bathroom entry is via coded lock, so they can be used only by campers. During covid-19 pandemic, check in was completely contactless. . All forms were emailed to us for printing out and check in was directly with hosts. Great sites, easy to maneuver. We stayed for 2 weeks and will stay again !

Great park that is very pet friendly and extremely clean. Park hosts were very attentive and helpful. Some sites are very unleveled and could pose a challenge for different types of RVs.Also, all hookups are at the very back of the site which may require additional hoses. We were unable to get WiFi in our spot but came in closer to host parking space. Bathrooms were very clean and all sites were well maintained. The Tanglewood dog park was a total joy that both the public and RVers enjoy. The park becomes very crowded during the day so we opted to take our girls early in the morning to enjoy this large well kept park. There are beautiful trails for everyone to enjoy as this park is a definite return on our list!!!!

Always a fun day at the park! Theres so many things to do and see here, that even the youngest of kids, the wisest of elders down to the families furr babies are bound to find an activity theyll enjoy! I absolutely love to see its abundance of wildlife thriving in such a beautiful, safe and clean environment! Its only $2 to get past the main gate, but well worth the $25 season pass if you are lucky enough to visit frequently, because even just taking a drive through the park and seeing the deer and other animals that are enjoying themselves within view is great all in itself! If its your first time, I definitely recommend asking for a map at the welcome center or as you get your ticket at the gate because the park is so large that its easy to get lost or lose out on additional activities simply because you didnt know it was there! The water park is definitely hard to miss, and certainly for good reason, because you are truly missing out if dont go during the summer months! $7 per person, per day, little ones are free and seniors are given a well deserved discounted rate! You can camp, go horseback riding, paddle boats, golf, dog park, concerts, cook offs, and TONS too many more to add to the list!

Park officials and officers need to enforce the no headlights rule, these LED lights ruin it for everyone else and its pretty sad you wait that long and have people shining bright lights even though there is a sign that clearly states to turn them off.... if you cant see in a well lit park and cant follow the car in front of you then please stay home and dont ruin it for the rest of us who arent stupid.
