I played here for the first time in many years and was impressed with the condition of greens, fairways and the rough. I had to quickly adjust my club selection to keep the ball out of the rough. Great burger and fries from the grill. I plan on returning soon.

The greens, tee box, and the fairway are in great condition. Now if I could find the fairway and or make a putt it would be even better. It really is a great golf course that is in top condition. All 27 holes are challenging and fun to play. I highly recommend playing at Riverwood!

Course is in great shape!! Been playing Riverwood for many years and today was some of the best conditions I ever remember. Very reasonably priced as well.

I play the Riverview nine and the Meadows nine, these great and beautiful courses to play. This was my first time playing them and they are very while taken care of and the staff are great.

Played Deer Creek today. Beautiful 9 holes with forgiving fairways. Greens recently airiated so a little bumpy but will be nice in a couple weeks. Will definitely play here again soon.

I have golfed 8 courses in the Raleigh area over the past 3 months. I will tell you that Riverwood is the best of them. For the price, course layout and overall quality of the club, you cant match it. I wish I lived closer to Riverwood but Im glad I found it. What a hidden gem in a beautiful area.

We had looked forward to playing today. Course was fine, management not so good. A bad day, wont be back.

Absolutely love this course. 27 holes off the beaten path. Challenging based off of slopes and greens, but open enough for the mediocre golfer. Always in good condition

Updating my review again It went down again. Theres even more sand on the greens as I predicted in an earlier review. Bring a blower as they are caked with sand.. greens keeper must be incompetent. The sand traps have zero sand and are unplayable. The cart paths are broken and flooded in places. The course gets worse each week of the summer. . Drainage is poor and many fairways are muddy. It gets a lot of play so you will overpay for bad conditions and a 4 1/2 hour round. Have at it.As a member Im embarrassed to bring guests which is a shame. I want to be proud of my home course.The guys who work the front are great but the leadership by the owners is non-existent.

Great course for the price. Good facilities. They keep up all the fairways and greens really well.

Kids were walking all over the golf course, had to skip a few holes. Other then that Great golf course!

Staff doesnt follow mask rules, even those preparing food.

Love the Golf Course. Are you allowed to fish the golf course ponds? Because ive heard different things. That you cant fish them, you can but only if youre a member. Or you can only fish past 8pm. Thanks

Great course - played the deer run/Riverwood track. It didn’t disappoint. Challenging but fun to play. Greens were in excellent condition.

Good course bad people though. Are you allowed to ride bikes with my child on the course road?

Great course. Windy when I played but still enjoyed course layout.

Course is in great shape. Championships Berm greens were recently airated but still rolled for the most part. Played here last year and dont remember it being this nice, but right now its . Sand traps were a little wet but fairways were perfect. Plenty of challenges including narrow fairway carries, varying terrain including the greens, and fair share of water. 3 different 9 hole courses keep things fresh! Enjoy.

Very well kept golf course. Normally have choice between 3 different courses but only had 2 choices today. Bunkers were a bit hard packed probably due to recent rains.

I have played golf all over the world and I am impressed.Riverwood Golf Club is a 27 hole Club with a good practice facility. This is one of my favorite courses to play. The course overall is in great condition, tee boxes are level, fairways roll very good, and the greens are firm and fast. The Golf Staff is very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is clean and enjoyable after the golf round. The Club Members are very friendly and enjoy playing with you when you need to pair up with locals. You and your family will enjoy the Riverwood Golf Club very much. So make time to play this gem as often as you can!

There are some specific staff members that are quite rude and have no customer relations at all. The course is pretty good. Cart paths are trash. Golf cart battery dies sometimes :(

27 hole curse course. One course was pretty good but the other two are lack luster. Greens are so so when I was there. The cart paths are in very bad shape. The pro shop is limited in products offered, and the young pro shop staff is rude to boot on top of all that. Pine hollow is ride down the road and I would recommend going there.

Horrible customer service, website says $25 for twilight play and we got charged for $28, when I asked him about it and he says the website is wrong and does not honor the price. Thanks for the false advertising!

Golfers will yell at you for playing in your own back yard because its the golf course.

Customer service is obxniously rude. I defenitely will no longer consider buying a house or becoming a member at Riverwood Golf Club after my experience with their staff.

Great course, but the worst management I have ever seen. Pro shop doesnt have a clue about customer relations.

Course is in great shape although the Bermuda grass is beginning to go dormant.

Carts will run out of battery before you finish 11 holes. Need to switch to gas motors or get new batteries.

Wow, what a course, the greens were phenominal, great customer service. Came on a friday, pace of play was resonable and the course is one to score on. Definately at course I will return to in the future.

Horrible customer service. The guy working on 6/22/2014 was absolutely rude and condescending. We drove past 7 courses to play riverwood and the experience was disappointing.

Like all Fred Smith courses the management does not have a clue about customer relations. They are rude to everyone. I was a member at Eagle Ridge and was treated like dirt. I am no longer a member and have not played any of the Fred Smith courses since.
