Mr. Grattis, by Green Tree Mall, was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Buffet is only $7.49 and drinks are only $1.19 more. Kids and seniors eat cheaper. The buffet includes pizzas, pastas, salad bar and pudding. You can ask for a pizza to be made for the buffet and the staff will let you know when it is ready. Everyone is asked to use clean plates, bowls and cups when returning for refills and everyone uses a fresh clean spatula or salad tong to get their food as well as to wear mask and practice social distancing. The price, service and quality combined is the best I have found for any restaurant in the Greater Louisville Metro area on either side of the river.

Lets be clear. This is a pizza buffet. Its cheap food. Dont expect otherwise. But for the price, this food is actually really good. I found the pizza to be flavorful, well made, and filling. There was also good variety of pizza options as well as a salad bar. The staff are very kind and helpful. The restaurant, besides its humble exterior, is well decorated and clean on the inside. If youre looking for some cheap food for you and your mates or kids its a good place to go. Cant go wrong.

We grew up in St. Matthews & have loved Gattis pizza for over 40 some odd years. Our pizza was delicious tonight & well worth the 15 minute drive from Goshen. Thanks so much for still being in business & we will be back!!! The best pizza out there!!

As a result of Covid-19, employees wear masks (correctly); staff serves the pastas and spaghetti sauce; each patron is provided with their own utensil for pizza slice; and salad/dressing is individually packaged. The mac/cheese and Alfredo pasta were room temp, no heat. Goulash has lima beans . All pizza on board looked old and dryed out; however, I was there at 3pm. You may request fresh pizza, and it is fast. VERY tasty, fresh salad consisted of iceberg-roma tomato-cucumber-onion; bleu cheese was fresh, tasted homemade and made with Miracle Whip . Cookie & cream pudding made my day ! The female co-owner was a delight with personality. I believe she prepares most of the food, other than pizza. Good experience, overall. Thanks!

I went to Mr. Gattis today with my friend for the second day of his birthday weekend celebration. I had not eaten here in a long time. The food was awesome! The service was great also. I imagine it will not be nearly as long between visits in the future. We both left happy and stuffed with lots of great food!

Its like eating in a nursing home. Incredibly quiet with 1 tv playing gameshow reruns. The food is awful. The pasta sauce is just water. The pizza isnt much but its edible.

It was pretty good and they did try to keep the pizza bar fresh. They made any upon request and the salad bar was fresh. The dinning room was extremely clean for a change at lunch rush.

Its not too bad for the money they need to put a little more sauce on the pizza! I do not put it all the way back to the crust. Little bit more toppings a little less crust thank you!! You will actually save money I called people will then eat the crust.

My favorite is definitely the dessert pizzas, but all of them are delicious! They even put out a BBQ chicken pizza at one point that was amazing! The kids are always intrigued by the giant TV screen and theyre good about keeping it kid friendly.

I do enjoy going to mr. Gattis Pizza. There is a wide variety a pizza and pasta and a very nice salad bar. I believe the food is well worth the price. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because of the fact that the tables are not cleared off very quickly after someone leaves. Looks pretty messy, however, the buffet is always clean

I love the owners they always make my favorite pizza. They are always so nice and so our most of their employees. We eat there alot.

My husband and I took the kids because I used to go here myself as a kid and thought mine should have the experience. :) I thought the kids would complain but they actually liked it aside from it being a bit crowded. The buffet is narrow and cramped.Quality of pizza was pretty generic. Salad bar was mostly fresh looking and tasting. They had a few desserts, ones which you would expect from a family pizza diner. Not terrible.Pretty clean, although the condiment containers at the table couldve used freshening. There were a few gnats on the parmesan shakers. Staff was pleasant enough.

The employees there are the BEST!! They pizzas that are requested, come out in a very timely manner, no attitude from the employees, and 90% of the time the salad looks AMAZING!! Fully stocked and ready to eat!

We are from Tennessee and we do not have a Mr. Gattis Pizza anymore. We came to Indiana on vacation and found this one! It said on the website that they closed at 9pm, but they actually close at 8pm. We got here at 7:45pm and they took us right in, they asked what pizza we wanted and was super friendly. We didnt want to make them stay late but they insisted. This is the best place and Im so happy we found it. We may even come back tomorrow since we dont get it much!

Tables were dirty and full of plates. They had a poor selection of pizza and people were touching the pizzas while they were getting slices.

Mr. Gattis is a Clarksville staple, and has been for decades. Same great pizza, comfy store, fair prices, and above all hard-working, friendly people who keep the place running. The fact that this Mr. Gattis doesnt have 5 stars is criminal, but I guess if you dont have haters you aint poppin.

The pizza is worse than low grade frozen that you buy at the grocery store. The salad bar is good!

The restaurant was very dirty and the food was at room temperature. The selection was low. It was dinner on a Sunday night and there was no one out in the table areas cleaning up. Not very many people eating in, so we were disappointed in the lack of care for the facility. 6 or so people were in the back working, but no attention was out with the customers.

I hate leaving negative reviews but its awful. We used to love coming here. Gave us what looked like used styrofoam cups with holes in them. Salad bar had about half the items it should have. Had about three pizzas on the buffet. Two of the five games actually work. Gumball machine took our money. I wont go back.

Horrible experience. Dont bring your kids unless youre okay with the foul mouthed language in the music coming from the kitchen. The manager should be fired. At one point they were playing in the back in view of the customers talking about blowing things and watch out youre gonna blow his balls off. Terrible place now. It used yo be good but its went way down hill. Hire someone besides a bunch of immature children. One year later... Its been a year since our last visit & we decided to try again, it was worse than before, the place was filthy, the pizzas & pasta were all cold & it was an all around horrible experience. The pictures were when we got there & werent fixed until I expressed my disgust with the filth

Nats all over the food. Cold table was not to temperature. Food seemed like it had been sitting for a while. Floors where disgustingly dirty. Tables werent wiped off. For as slow as it was, they could have been cleaning it up and taking care of the food that was obviously expired.. Although I do have to say, the employees where nice. Will not be eating there again until it is cleaned and ran properly. So sad because I love Mr. Gattis..

Great food but wish it was easier to bring kids by yourself. I have a 7 yr old and two 9 month old twin girls which I took the girls to the bathroom to change them leaving my diaper bags at the table and my son playing games. As soon as I came out, someone took our table and gave my diaper bags to the staff like I forgot them...

This has been my favorite restaurant for over 25 years. The service is great.

This location is always clean and friendly. There is a couple games for the children. However if you decide to go you should request a pizza as soon as you arrive due to high traffic the pizza bar is almost always depleted even tho theyre constantly restocking them. Also if your a salad fan youll have to ask for salad cheese and only given a small side cup full.

Fair prices. Arrived during late lunch hours, there wasnt much to offer on the buffet stand but they made up for it by making anything that we asked for and adding it to the buffet.

Absolute worst service Ive ever had out of all pizza joints ive been to between hollywood California all the way to Ohio and down to Florida worst worst. Ive worked in professional pizza business for YUM! Brands for 6 years and i have never had such a disgusting pizza and horrible customer service by the short manager and the cashier. They left the pizzas out over 30 min and almost every pizza was the same they refused to make new ones unless u were specific and food was grouse even when they made it. If you all need a real manager and a better business message me

I grew up with Gattis and it was always my fave. This little place does not disappoint. Buffett is good, AND they take requests.

Too expensive for quality you get without a coupon. Dining room old and dated. A good scouring would help, in my opinion the salad bar sneeze guard doesn’t cover the things in the front, bar is in a high traffic area plus kids breathing on it. Not the best set up. Maybe a better enclosure would help. Pizza okay. Desserts should be a lot better & three fresh choices would be nice. Desserts were not replenished regularly. This food was Not worth almost $10. Two stars because they will bake the pizza you want. They will take requests. Owners are nice and cordial. Saturday lunch time was pretty busy. A variety of clientele.even though kid friendly put something better on the tv.

Inconsistent as sometimes it looks like the toppings may be coming out of someones pay (very sparse) or maybe I ordered the diet pizza?? They will make what you like but maybe not how you like it. This just in case anyone working there cares about this places success..not many fresh ingredients mostly canned or flavorless inexpensive toppings. If you want good toppings best to go elsewhere but if you wanting to save afew cents this place is ok. The price can not be beat at Gattis but if your wanting great pizza your going to be disappointed they went for cheap not good. I get it some prefer quantity over quality but if you want quality your going to places like Rapid Fire & paying a whole dollar more for top shelf but giving up the all you can eat for all you can taste.

Good prices, all I eat is salad, salad bar needs more attention, too much water in bottom of salad bowl. Containers need to be emptied and refilled with fresh food, not more and more poured on top of old ingredients. So many things going on with the handling of food.

Great pizza! Until we saw a mouse running around the dining area! We told someone and all they said said was sorry you saw that.....

Food was gross, loud kids screaming running around hitting our table, the people next to us having a huge marital spat, food was messed up cold, undercooked and overpriced. I dont know how they stay in buisness...never went back

Im sorry to give one star. The good is the woman who took our payment was friendly and even gave us a coupon for a free kids buffet. The bad is all the good was old and at the salad bar there were gnats everywhere. When I used tongs to pick up a piece of broccoli sooo many gnats flew out from under it. While sitting at the table I went to take a bite of pizza and a gnat was flying around and landed on my food. Only time that gattis is good is when the actual owner is there. And Im not sure who was cutting the pizza but they didnt even look like pizza slices. Im disappointed :(
