I absolutely adore this spot! The ambiance is on point with low light and a warm color scheme for the interior decor. The staff are bot only friendly but they are also competent and entertaining, real people really enjoying their work and it shows. The modern layout and top of the line appliances and furnishings really add that extra touch of class to an already very classy atmosphere. Perfect for a romantic date night in the restaurant/ live music area or hitting the tables with your besties. To top it off if it is your first time dining here, desert is on the house! And it is to die for! Always a pleasure ladies and gentlemen. Keep up the excellent work :D. I was an employee of Stones Gambling Hall for 5 years and always wanted to go to work everyday to see the people I considered family. Sure there were ups and downs and the pay wasnt quite what I was used to but they took me in as family.I had a stroke in January 2020 and died several times in surgery and was also diagnosed with 4th stage terminal cancer. My hospital room was also filled with visiting Stones people and at one point hospital staff considered limiting my visitors. Being unable to move people stepped in to help me. Marylyyne Magruder helped with basically everything from medical decisions to filing disability insurance. I really cant say enough about her she is special and I hold her close to my heart. Susy gibson was another who had an uncanny way of knowing what I needed during my stay at the hospital.She will be my friend for rest of my life.The man who runs Stones Art ____Visited me 4 or 5 times and supplied me with a lot of money in gift cards to hand out which totally blew my mind.. So whatever youve heard about Stones that wasnt good Im here to tell you they are the most decent,honest people you will ever know..I miss them all....Eldon Keith Thompson

Dealer hit when I busted and took my face card for the next hand and I lost the next three hands. They said they hit when I HAVE 25 but nowhere on the playing field does it say that. It threw off the order of the cards and I lost $200. Not right. Very unsatisfied.

Smoke free I love it. Water bottles and sodas are free. The restaurant is high quality food and for every hour you play you earn comps for free food. I love Spanish 21 only 5 dollars a hand and I love normal 21 you can split as many aces as you get. You can surrender any first two hand. I have been loyal to them for a while. I recommend it.

Everything was amazing here. The food was great. The staff was amazing. Service was quick and the food was hot and drink were cold. Cant wait to come back for more.

First time here after hearing about this place almost daily on KFBK for years.I am completely candid, as anyone who has seen my other reviews knows.I was very pleasantly surprised. This place is so clean and stellar, as a whole; not what youd expect from a card room. We actually had an awesome experience at Sammys.. Fantastic food and service..I shared some truffle fries and a Tuscan pizza on cauliflower crust, both were beyond amazing.Note they have daily happy hour from 3 to 6 which include great deals on their craft cocktails.This may have been my first time here, but it wont be my last.

Came here with family for a night out, ordered chicken tenders and onion rings, waited over an hour and a half and saw three other groups come in, get drinks, order food, eat, and get MORE drinks. So then we wanted to leave, so we tell someone we are canceling our order because it took too long, and then the OWNER comes out with our food as we are packing up, and we say “Oh actually we are leaving” and he gives us a dirty look and says “oookay”. Like you couldn’t have offered to give it to us for free? after waiting almost 2 hours for something that should have taken no more than 20 minutes. absolutely ridiculous. OH and, one of the servers singled me out of my whole group to ID me, not a good time at all.

This casino is known as for poker cheaters, yet the casino does nothing to protect the integrity of the games. I recommend to stay away from this place.

Stopped by with my kids to watch some sports and try the food before heading to the ice rink. The food tasted good but for the price, the portions were very small. The prices online are a lot less than whats on the menu at the restaurant. 11.00 for a burrito thats probably half the size from Chipotle. Tasted good but plan on spending a bit to leave full.

Food was good. Mai our server/bartender was very nice and helpful with our food questions. The drunk chicks at the bar next to us, flirting with the bartender (Daniel) was a bit annoying but enjoyed dinner despite their colorful conversations.

The casino doesnt protect the players from cheating. Not professional.

Food was delicious here. Service was bleh but it wasnt our servers fault as there was miscommunication during his lunch break and the manager there made up for everything. My roommate wasnt happy with the fact that they only have Dijon mustard and I told him next time to bring his own is he wants plain lol But the duck tacos were super delicious! Definitely recommend those! I will be back and bringing my husband when he gets home

If you are looking to play poker in and around Sacramento, Stones should be your first and only spot. The 17-table room is cozy, with table-side food (they have a great players menu with Asian inspired food and wood fired pizza) and great prices on alcoholic beverages. But its the dealers and staff that set this place apart. Excellent dealers, clear and enforced rules, good promotions. Ive played at all the local card rooms including Thunder Valley and Capitol Casino. This place is definitely worth the drive.

Do not play at Stones. You all know about the scandal but the casino itself is culpable and will probably be shut down in the next few weeks. Food and service is excellent so enjoy that while you can. Owners will be looking at a major trial and possible jail time, but will likely settle out of court.

Between watching hours of his odd playing style, and seeing the statically impossible results hes been having on this platform, it seems too likely thats something is going on.Disclaimer: Ive never played there, nor do I know for a fact that cheating has occurred. Im just a concerned player after seeing what I believe is incredibly overwhelming and incriminating evidence.

This review is for Sammy restaurant inside of stones. Super great food and awesome service. Good beers on tap and you’ve got breakfast anytime options. Expect to pay a bit more but it’s worth it.

My husband & I have played here for years, week after week, before Stones was Stones (Derby days). We, and many other players, wear dark glasses at the table & its never been a problem. And ours are prescriptions. Today, security decides its a problem & asked us to remove our glasses. We said they are prescriptions. So they call some floor guy & he comes up to us & tells us to take our glasses off. Neither him or security said anything to anyone else in the room about taking their glasses off & it just so happens we were the only minority people with glasses on. Everyone else with dark glasses on was white. We were discriminated against. We walked out & left our tournament chips on the table. We wont be back.

Crooked gambling establishment. Rigged games and collusion between staff and certain players. This is not a safe or fun place to bring your money.

Easily the best poker room Ive visited in Norcal thus far (admittedly I can only compare to Capitol Casino so take that large grain of salt). The games were run well and service staff were plentiful and attentive. Dealers are on point and the players are generally good natured (not a hoodie or pair of shades in sight). I hear the food is excellent but have yet to partake. I definitely recommend this spot to scratch your poker itch!

99% of the dealers are friendly here, the servers are very attentive. I usually end of losing my shirt here but I do have fun doing it, which is what really matters. I really enjoy playing BlackJack here and I wish they would bring back Ultimate Texas Hold em. The food is always really good, like most other folks have mentioned the Duck Tacos. The drinks can be hit or miss, however I would stay away from anything that needs a blender. Ive had huge chunks of ice more often than not.

To be honest this place was not good at all. They do take your money almost instantly. Playing Spanish 21 was bad you couldnt bet 1 dollar on the spot you had to play 5. I ended up not playing the spot but the dealer let other people play on mine and someone next to me. The person next to me saw some people come in she didnt like so she told the dealer to say someone else was sitting there forcing the elderly to sit somewhere else. Very disrespectful (regular) customers. I got 21 and they didnt pay me right up front they actually asked me if I wanted to double and see the flop. Basic rules are to pay 2.5 once 21 is hit on the first 2 cards. They only have 5 dollar blackjack tables in the morning till 3pm I came in around 2:30 and there was no 5 dollar tables for blackjack. Over all experience was not professional. I will not be coming back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, cleanliness and good energy I got from this place! The service was good, out waitress was friendly. I ordered the beef pho which was a great choice. There was a wide range of beer and cocktails on the menu, a nice bar with sports playing. I will definitely come back to hang out!

Checked this place out for a drink or two with my Man and was blown away by the AWESOME customer service we received from the bartenders, DANIEL & CHRIS!!!! Drinks were amazing and the food was legit too. I had the chicken tequilla pasta and it was delish! We also were given a FREE Desert for being first timers! We had the Messy Sundae it was BIG enough for us to share and was the perfect ending to our evening! I totally recommend this place to watch sports at the bar, have dinner or appetizers and drinks. Nice open, airy, clean atmosphere. Definitely going to be regulars now :-)

Just dont go! I played on the stream more than a year ago. One winning session which was lucky because I cracked AA with my KK preflop all in but other than that the play here was fishy by more than just the god Mike Postle. I dont want to say names but I think there were more than one player that were cheating from the beginning of the live streams. The plays made were bad even though the fish won the pot, the all ins were thin and I just got a bad vibe. Justin texted me weekly to bi weekly for months to come back and I would say no everytime. I love my money too much to be donating to below average players who cheat to win. Bye bye stones and bye bye Justin.
