We went on a hike at Winton woods as part of our date for sweetest day today. We were hoping to see the fall foliage. There was some color in the trees. But its not yet at its peak.We saw people boating and had a pleasant hike around the lake with a harbor loop trail. If youre looking for an easy outside walk with nice surroundings, this may be the trail for you.

Really huge Woodss with lots of stuff to do. Disc golf course is a little kiddy very short holes but still nice. Beautiful sprawling park with anything you can think of to do. Basketball, paddle boat rentals, playgrounds, theres a little farm with animals. Just lots to do more than I can mention. Plus tons of places to jog or walk and take on the beautiful scenery of the woods and river.

Absolutely love camping at Winton Woods!!! Weve been coming here for years and I always kick off my camping season here. One of the best things about Winton Woods is its super convenient to access the highway, groceries, restaurants and anything in between. The park is beautiful and the place is always clean. Lots of trees in the rear of the park (30 amp) and full sun spots upfront if you have a satellite. Site 8 & 9 are my favorites backs up to the lake and really nice size. Also the staff is great especially Sue in the office. I was running late for check in and wouldnt make it until after the office closed, Sue took care of me and had everything already for me and called me on her way home to give me the gate code. Cant go wrong, very peaceful and nice amenities.

I love everything about this park! There are so many activities to do here and for all ages! They are also part of Hamilton County parks, so the parking pass you by for this park covers all of the other Hamilton County Parks. We camp here multiple times throughout summer every summer and every year we have a positive experience. There campgrounds are totally amazing! There is enough room in between each campsite to set up tents and still have room to move around but theyre close enough to have multiple families next to each other and be able to enjoy your time together. I would absolutely recommend Winton Woods to anyone!

Finding Winton Woods was a pleasant surprise after driving past on Winton Rd. We hiked around the very scenic lake trail, but noticed all the other elements of the park that will have to wait for future trips. There was a marina with kayaks and canoes for rent and boat rides available around the lake. There were playgrounds open, plenty of picnic areas and we smelled the campfires from the campground across the lake.People were Covid compliant with masks and personal distancing, which was good to see.

Winton Woods is a true Cincinnati gem. It offers a great escape from Urban living. Its easily accessible to all residents (about a 20 min drive from downtown). Its $10 for an annual pass to all Hamilton County parks and $5 for a day pass.We rented a small camping cabin for a very fair price (about $75 a night peak season). The cabin had beds for up to 5 people, a table, electrical outlets, and most importantly air conditioning. We had a nice time sitting around the fire. We wanted to rent a boat to go on the lake but unfortunately they were booked for the day.

Edit to add that this is our favorite park during the Covid era. People here seem very conscientious about mask wearing and social distancing, even on the playground. We love this park! There are so many different areas to explore. My kids love the playground. We walk the paved trail around the lake regularly and its excellent both for when my kids (5, 4, and 1) want to walk and for pushing the stroller. We come regularly to check out different picnic areas (there are tons!) and hike some of the nature trails. Kingfisher is our favorite.

This is a beautiful park. Lots of stuff to do there. Camping, boating, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding. Its not a far drive. You can tent camp or bring your RV. Everything about this place is calm and relaxing. A great get away from the norm. I would have given it five stars but the kayak and canoe launch isnt smooth. There are some decent size rocks at the launch that can get slippery. Some are jagged and questionable when you have inflatables. Nevertheless we took out our intex excursion boat and had a blast. Our 65lbs thrust trolling motor got us to almost the entire water area. It would have gotten the entire area but lunch was calling. Plenty of beautiful wildlife to see her. Friendly people everywhere. I do urge people to come and enjoy some fresh air and loads of outdoor fun.

Campground employees were friendly. Our site was roomy. Was disappointed you arrival that there was no view of the water. I booked site 12. That was one of the main reasons I picked this campground. I assumed you could see water and had a shoreline to fish. That was not the case. Fishing wasnt good. Water did smell. If bushes/grass was pruned, it would be possible to enjoy the view. Nice place for kids to ride bikes. Overall, the park was quiet and seemed safe because it is a gated campground. There is NO cable TV. There is WiFi. Bring bug spray and candles.

I loves Winton Woods as it is literally outside of my neighborhood. We kayak and fish here regularly(PLEASE PUT IN A KAYAK LAUNCH LIKE AT MIAMI WHITEWATER AND ADD MORE LAUNCH POINTS!!! PLEASE!) We walk the dog, and love to get ice cream! It has great trails, tons and tons of picnic areas, a splash park and has several playgrounds thru out the park. My only true complaint is the the mess that others leave along the banks where they fish. We have a great creek to kayak in and all along you can tell where people have been fishing. They literally leave everything they brought behind. I wish the great parks rangers would focus on this and fine a few people and put up some littering signs. When the water rises, its terrible how much trash ends up in our beautiful lake. And its starting to show, the water doesnt get as clear as it should. Its a shame and could so easily be curbed in another directing after a few people get fined for littering. Otherwise, even on days we plan to go somewhere new to kayak and fish, we still find ourselves going to Winton because its just too convenient. It truly has so much to offer and there so many different ways to spend your day there!

Winton Woods, and the rest of the Great Parks network, are well worth the 10-15$ annual parking pass. Every day theres people getting out into the outdoors, walking around the lake, and in the summer theres people everywhere, fishing, boating, and staying at the campground. Miles of trails, boats to rent, picnic areas, all conveniently located for me. I give it a solid A+.
