Ive never been to an acting class in my life and had no idea what to expect once I got there. It took some time to build up the courage to go but Im so grateful I did! My first day was all nerves with a large side of anxiety. However, it wasnt long before realizing I was in great hands with Cincinnati Actors Studio, acting coach, Steve Francia. Although It was my own initiative that forced me through the door, it was Steves obvious passion for his students success that kept me coming back for more. His class, although incredible, is about more than just acting. Its taking the many lessons learned and applying them to all other aspects of life. The safe space he provides to push the boundaries of what you thought capable as both actor and human being is a true gift. How fortunate that we have access to both a master(mind) with years of professional experience as well as a supportive community that goes along with it. So do yourself a favor and get to Steve’s class! You wont regret it.

This was best acting class Ive ever been to! They welcome anyone from beginners to expert level giving honest and respectful feedback with true value. I truly felt comfortable expressing myself and my creativity with the expert guidance from the instructor. He pushed each person to be their best self without being disrespectful, allowing to still have fun in the process. Everyone was warm and welcoming making me feel like family from the first moment I walked through the door until I left to go home. Without any hesitation in saying, I know I will be back next week!

This was exciting and colorful. Steve -the instructor is awesome. The other students made me feel at home. Not sure where this may take me...but if nothing more than getting out of the house.. I am grateful . Thank you.. lots of fun

As an stage and film actor. This class provides and fulfills my needs in both crafts! This class is an every actors class and will keep you sharp while giving you HONEST feedback at all times. You can count on the teacher and the those around you to make you feel right at home and feel comfortable really expressing yourself. All in all this is an safe haven for actors of all skill level, you just have to be ready to work!I couldnt ask for a better class; genuinely, one of the best, if not the best in the Tri-State.

Chock full of the good stuff right from the beginning. Professional and newbie friendly. If youre a beginner, no need to fear! Youll be up front and acting from the first class, but the atmosphere is something else--like other reviewers have said, Steve really makes you feel like family. This isnt one of those classes where you constantly get a pat on the back OR where the teacher never points out what youre doing right. Well-balanced, friendly, honest, great for theater + film acting, and you get exponential value for your buck. Classes are Mondays and Thursdays, so take your pick (or why not both?).

If youre looking for acting lessons, then congratulations, youve found the best there is. The true mother-load of an acting class. The instructor is Steve Francia, and he can and will steer you in the right direction. His vast knowledge and expertise make him one of the best acting instructors in the United States, and one of his many fantastic qualities is his honesty. If you failed, or didnt do well, or if your scene sucked, then he will let you know, and he wont sugarcoat it for you, but he will critique, and he will tell you how to improve.Theres no animosity or bigotry in this class. Steve has a one happy family demeanor and policy, and you can see that with the class. Everyone is very nice, supportive, and friendly, which brings a wonderfully warm atmosphere to the room as you walk in.So, on a final note, if you are an actor, or even if youre thinking about becoming an actor, then you should come to the Cincinnati Actors Studio. The classes usually have a theme-of-the-month and each class is different, so you wont be repeating the same thing over and over again.If youre ready, Ill see you in class!

Steve is an amazing mentor. The class is inexpensive and filled with people who are Dedicated and Motivated. Most of them make it to LA. If you are serious about making Acting as your profession, Dont miss CAS.

This is the PREMIER acting class for actors of the Southwest Ohio/Northern Kentucky area. If you truly want to better yourself as an actor, I highly recommend checking this class out. You will not regret it!
