The Symphony hotel was beautiful!! The decoration fits each room so well. It was very comfortable! The art was beautiful including the garage with chandeliers! The rooftop was beautiful, the jazz band was nice, and the staff was so kind. They even upgraded our room and sent us champagne for my husband s birthday! We will definitely come again. Ive been lucky enough to hear amazing jazz here three times, once had cocktails, and twice had a meal. In no way has any aspect of these experiences been less than phenomenal. Extremely good customer service, a lively bartender, beautiful setting, comfortable, and affordable. This venue is shamefully under appreciated, but gorgeous.

The room was nice and the bed was so comfortable. I also liked the shower. The breakfast (weekend) was good. You could order pancakes and eggs and then had the option to make your own toast and get your own drinks. It was kind of half restaurant and half continental breakfast. The food was good but it took a little longer than I expected. The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed my stay.

I genuinely loved staying here, and want to make sure that its clear that my average rating for service is more a reflection of availability. The hotel is not staffed like one might expect -- the innkeepers are off-site (but close by), so in many respects youre on your own once you check in. Theyre standing by to help if you need something and are extremely nice. The rooms are gorgeous, quiet and luxurious. The proximity to Music Hall and downtown is terrific. Once I got used to how the hotel operated, I loved my stay.

For the most part we had a nice stay. Staff was friendly. We had a nice brunch with waffles and fruit our first morning. The second morning was quite strange. No staff to be seen , no waffles, just a few selections of cereal and bread on a stand. No coffee . No fruit which was available our first morning. . The room was crowded but comfortable with only one chair forcing one of us to sit on the bed. The bathroom door was of the pocket variety and hard to open or close. The shower had a floor made out of cemented stones which was very uncomfortable to stand on. Furniture was antique looking. Decor was old fashioned but attractive. Not an unpleasant two nights but I’d call it a quirky hotel.

Staff was absolutely amazing! I did not call ahead for a reservation, which you should totally do, and staff was more than accommodating. They were hosting a private event, and the inn keeper still met with me and checked me in. Gave us an extremely informed overview of the hotel and our room. He took his time to explain how everything worked in our room. While we were out for the evening the inn keeper placed champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room for my girlfriends birthday. I asked him for something special and they absolutely went above and beyond. Room was extremely clean and smelled clean. Everything about our stay exceeded my expectations. We will certainly be returning.

I did not stay here, my review is on the restaurant portion. June 13, 2020 was my dads 80th birthday. I live in Georgia and he lives in Cincinnati Ohio. Due to covid-19 he was not leaving the house. I offered to ubereat him something to eat. He wanted cod. All the places that I found seemed to far to me for delivery and was scared ubereats would cancel the order. I found a place that was close but, they did not have cod. My dad decided to just get some chicken from them but I knew he didnt want that.I tried to order but the order did not go through. I refreshed and Symphony Hotel & Restaurant came up with a picture of guess what (COD) as the profile pic. They were about 5 minutes from my dad. I ordered the cod and the roasted potatoes. I wrote a note asking to please not season the food to heavy as this was for an 80 year old and his birthday was today. Not only was the uber driver (DAVID) excellent, but, SYMPHONY HOTEL & RESTAURANT went above and beyond. Not only did my dad love the food (seasoned perfect) they also sent him a complimentary slice of cheesecake stating, Happy 80th. I was so moved and grateful.MY DAD LOVES CHEESECAKE!! As much turmoil and lack of compassion for others that is going on in this world, I shedded a few tears of their compassion and customer service. They may not know their food and service would brighten someones day, just doing what they love. When I come back to visit, this will be one of the places we will eat from.THANK YOU!!! You made an 80 year olds birthday great..

My daughter and I stayed at the Symphony Hotel for one night. The innkeeper checked us in and we got there early enough to spend some time in the dining room listening to the jazz combo. We are big music people so this was a perfect place for us. There is elegant musical decor all around the hotel. There are no elevators but that was not a big deal for us. We stayed in the Bach room. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the decor was beautiful. Breakfast started at 9 am and was delicious. We were able to order from Luka who was the morning innkeeper. He was also performing Saturday night in the Hunchback of Notre Dame! Music is embedded in this hotel and community. If that is something you value you will love this place!

I was in Cincinnati for a conference downtown. Fortunately, I made the decision to stay at this hotel instead of some of the others which were closer to the convention center. The room itself was quite nice and the two managers that I interacted with were uncommonly friendly. The hotel was a very relaxing place to stay with nice common areas and music. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the rooftop area with the gas fire pit to sit by in the evening. The detached room bathrooms were a bit odd, but as they were quite close and robes were provided, this was only a minor inconvenience.

Nice atmosphere and Jazz music but the crab cakes were not good and the symphony burger was inedible. The accommodations were great! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. My only issue was the food at the restaurant. A free breakfast was provided with your stay and this meal was very subpar. I love the Symphony! It is the only place I stay when in Cincinnati. It’s safe, quiet, quaint, great parking, the sheets are awesome wonderfully soft, Egyptian Cotton, mattress is comfortable, even my very picky daughter loved our stay. Symphony Hotel & Restaurant - Bringing Bach high standards to what an Inn really should be. Symphony is conveniently placed near the Cincinnati Music Hall and not too far from the University of Cincinnati which makes it quite the hot spot for performing arts majors and lovers. The rooms available are all themed after a different composer; offering books, records, and other antique pieces related to them. Beyond the aesthetic youre probably wondering about the actual basics of the hotel. Well let me make it short and sweet - Soft, clean beds, strong and hot showers, outstanding food, and above all else, great hospitality.

My stay was a delightful melody blending classical old world charm with modern entertainment and cuisine. The decor of the individual rooms matched perfectly with the hotels charming theme. At night I was entertained by the sounds of live jazz enjoyed with hand crafted cocktails. Topping of my evening was the excellent performance of the house chef who’s steak was music to my lips.Moving past the amenities and food, my trip’s crescendo was the pleasure of meeting the owner and his son. Both treated me as more than a guest and gave me a private tour of the building’s history. I was able to share a cocktail with the owner and soak in the building’s rich history and got some first hand recommendations of the revitalized downtown Cincinnati area.Musical puns aside, I fully recommend this hotel for a modern twist on classical charm or for its excellent American and European kitchen.
