I regret making the two hour drive from Louisville to this casino. The Mississippi Stud dealer informed my boyfriend that you could fold your hand and still be eligible to win the progressive jackpot. Therefore, I continued to play the progressive jackpot. When he took my cards after I folded, I questioned him and he said that you cannot fold your cards and qualify for the progressive (in a very condescending manner). So, he either lied to my boyfriend about this or me, and belittled me at the same time. There is NOTHING hard rock about this casino either. I know that they are transitioning from the Jack casino, but they could do something to fit this motif better. The decor is pretty much the same from the old casino. The music does not fit with the new hard rock theme either. I do appreciate the cleanliness of the casino however. I probably wont make the drive again though- mainly because I do not appreciate being lied to and belittled by casino dealers.

Not the right place to have a good time during the pandemic.I drove 2,5h just to lose so fast. It was very interesting to see on every slot, that in the first few spins you win a little bit (I was never in the positive), and than all over sudden a very long time zero wins. Not even smaller than the bet, just nothing. Wouldn’t say anything if it happens here and there, but it was on every single slot, and I played about 10 or so. Heard other people here also complaining about the pay out, so it was not only me with bad luck.Will not do that trip again.

Really nice people that are very strict about security and safety.They let us bring our pit bull (service dog) into the casino. Free soft drinks arrive quickly to your machine. Quite a few people were pretty drunk, which can be aggravating.Overall the machines we like were paying out well.

Its really nice not alot of people through the week they close at 10:00 because of Covid so theyre only open from 8:00 in the morning till 10:00 at night until whenever but still not bad youre still going and have a good time make sure you wear your mask at all times

I had a most enjoyable experience at the casino last night. Staff was friendly, service was great, and the casino was spotless. Special thank you to cocktail waitress Annette. Hard rock cancelled the scratch off promotion on the last day in November. They claimed that an email was sent out. I checked all my emails ,even the spam. There was no notification. I askws several people in line if the received an email and they didnt either. So I called customer service and they gave me a story about the Governors orders . Its all Bull. I scratched the promotion ticket and sure enough it was the highest amount. 50 dollars . Who ever thought up this cancellation to save money should be Fired. All it did was send me to Miami Vally to gamble. TERRIBLE

Slots are fixed!! They removed willy Wonka machines.... only ones we all would play!! Seeing trends on vibrant 7 machines that are VERY SUSPECT!! hope to take videotape of these machines!! Trust me ... they are rigged down!!! I know.... seen this in Vegas!!!

Just enjoyed being with family. Getting out for a few hours. I will say they have people coming around cleaning often. As well as alot of new games.

This is the first time in a couple years since we have come to Jacks now Hard Rock. Found a couple machine that would pay. It was fun. Felt safe with Covid precautions. Sanitizing wipes available and we used them at all the machines where we played Enjoyed our experience.

Perfect late night visit with my missed. Clean and safe, the times we are in proved to show with plexiglass dividers and mask rules but hey they are open and making life seem normal, as normal as possible.

Drinks are overpriced. Food was good. It’s a cool place. I didn’t win anything though.

Casino very clean. I gave a low rating for the service. No self serve soft drink stations. I requested a soft drink several times. Machine would tell me to stay seated as my drink was on the way. After 90ish minutes, I still had not been served. I stopped several employees to inquire about drink service and they were polite but clueless. Place looked abandoned. Slots super tight. Wont go back.

Nice and clean, every other machine is disabled, you gotta wear a mask, and its NON-SMOKING! However, they do have areas for the smokers. Its one of our stops when driving to Florida!

This place was dead. Went for our anniversary and we had a good time. Dealers and pit bosses were friendly. Hit a 100 to 1 on 3 card poker so walked out way ahead. Cant wait to go back.

Not enough free plays! Ive spent over 200 hundred bucks which may not seem like much to you! But I at least expect some perks! I also realize its called gambling! Im just saying! Id enjoy more free plays along with spending my money.

Its Hard Rock now but I still have fun when I go. Last night we ate at the steak house, I think its called Prism, inside the casino and everything was so delicious. I won about 100 dollars on the slots so it was a pretty good night.

It was fun, exciting, food was amazing, had a great time and Im not even a gambler.

I would give them a 3 star review based off of the fact the casino is really nothing special, however it certainly is located conveniently to downtown hotels and they are doing a good job with the covid cleaning so Ill give her 4. Dont go out of your way, but if you need to scratch the itch, this rock will get it done!

We went during the first weekend they were back open. It was definitely different. Only every other slot machine was open. There were large plastic barriers at the blackjack tables. They also had dividers to keep space between players. They were making sure everyone was safe. I would definitely recommend this place.

You can come and enjoy good table games but restricted on the amount of baccarat, craps, and roulette seats.Environment was friendly and well pumped with Oxygen.The decor was classically big-casino-- lots of subtle distractions and nice lighting, cashier area was positioned away from the big table games.Service wasnt good as far as staffing bar maids the first day, but was better on a future visit.

Had to change my review after my latest attempt to patrontate this establishment. Refused my entry over a small backpack. But let a lady in with a purse large enough to fit three midgets and a Prius in. Offer a coat check!!!!!!!! Or dont arbitrarily turn people away. I traveled all the way from Dayton to come gamble today. I cannot be away from my bag due to health and work reasons. Unless something is done about this I wont be returning here or recommending this place to anyone I know.

It is sad to see that the party crowd atmosphere was replaced by a meager crowd with high safe restrictions. Mr. Luckys was expensive, small portions. I asked for water and it was 50 cents for a 4 oz bottle, Rubin was small and greasy. Shakes were in 1/2 size cups. BUT, the other place, that used to be a buffet has ribs better and cheaper than Montgomery Inn. $20 for a whole slab and 2 large sides.

The hard rock has adapted to the new covid rules well. Its still a great atmosphere and the staff was friendly!

First of all. NONSMOKING. I really appreciated this. Its clean, bright and a fun atmosphere. The food options are outstanding. Bobbys Burger Palace is a favorite of mine, partly because Im a big Bobby Flay fan. But the food is delicious as well! There is security that walks around, the bars have fast service and you can also order beverages at the machines. We come to Cincinnati from Nashville and always have a great time here. I recently went to a casino in Milwaukee that allows smoking, and it made me appreciate this Jack (now Hard Rock) even more!

Gotta be honest, the food was fantastic. Id recommend this place to anyone if it werent for one crucial issue:The entire ambiance of the restaurant is tainted by loud flashing machines and obnoxious patrons who arent even there to eat.

The only thing Hardrock Casino has over all the other casinos and racinos is they have a program called Bounce back in which after you visit Hardrock Casino depending on how much you have spent and the time you spent there determines how much money they will put on your card after 72 hrs which is 3 days! This is what really get people to go to Hardrock Casino besides the convenience for those who dont like to drive to far an the people who dont have cars?

Dont go here. Find another Casino this Casino does not pay out anytime. Even when they were Jacks I would win something wether or not I walked out with it. Since the switch over Ive been there about 7 times on the same machines $500 plus dollars in and nothing out other tham 6 to 20 dollars..

I wasnt particularly happy with the service i order 5 fish sandwichs, 2 with cheese and 3 with pickles that i love and not one had any pickles i very dissapointed

Nice place been there a few times an still not a winner. But did end up eating at the buffet on Wednesday night for the all you can eat crab 75$ for 2 of us since we didnt have a card. The food was so salty couldnt each much past the crab legs. Did find a few items that were not as salty to eat . Tons of people after those crab legs was funny to see how many people came for them.

Cincinnati and Jack Casino close to Downtown like 0.3 miles. Very sunshine City and laughing people, big respect for this Casino: entourage, quickest and nice place between machines and gambling tables. I need to go to Louisville and stopped not too long. But I had been happy for spending my time. Have enjoy here if you will be tourist like me.

Ive been coming to this casino since it opened and had 3 different names and owners never had any issues . But today going to hard rock with a party of 20 I was rejected at the door do to my DL being expired I requested for a supervisor moments later he walked up and wouldnt allow me to even speak denied entry , I said my ask why he said its because Im not American and that they dont like my kind of people so since I was denied entry me and my entry me and 19 of my friends and family left the casino and will never come back ... I will also make sure to let everyone know how bad you get treated ..........

So it made me a little irritated that when I was breathing troubles with my mask because I have severe asthma that all the employees bothered me every five minutes to yell at me to put my mask on. If your goal is lose customers and be as rude as possible then you aced that. I never had my first experience at Jacks to be like this. I’ve seen multiple people INCLUDING employees with the mask not fully over their face yet I get targeted every 5 minutes by an employee even when I put it back on my nose. My mask was light pink so I’m not sure why these employees found every right to ruin my night and my experience but you WILL NOT get my business again until you get these employees under control

This is awful how they have the people making an hours long line to cash their voucher. All their cashing voucher machines are down and there is just 2 people cashing them.If you like casinos dont waste your time here.

I will not enjoy the Hard Rock casino again as they are requiring a mask for customers. I will find other forms of entertainment that do not infringe on my personnel freedoms. I wish Hard Rock the best but do not agree with theirRequirements.

My experience with a couple buddies for almost 3hrs didnt see 1 person win anything 150.00 in .00 out from only me. whats a .60cent win on 3.00doller bets. The staff was very friendly. But the store side was seriously lacking in inventory. Im not sure about the gambling experience as we only stopped for a souvenir and look around. We had two panhandlers try to hit us up in the elevator lobby going out to the garage.

I dont care much for hard rock as I do other casinos we have visited as nd the food places there are not anything spectacular or to brag about and I have had problems with some of the staff being rude and unpleasant and that alone can take away from the fun and comfortable entertainment in my opinion.

The staff was very rude. If you wear glasses putting a mask over your nose fogs up your glasses.

Just not exciting. Need to start getting it ready for when covid is over with local bands and more events and reasons to go there to eat and stay for an evening out.

Weve won and weve lost. Unfortunately weve lost more than won....then again only a lucky few walk out with more than they walked in with. Great time and convenient to downtown Cincinnati Ohio sites. Great buffet with nice choices for meals and/or snacks. Attentive, courteous and nice staff. Must see and will enjoy. God help you if you want to see any sports. Their TVs are always blacking out or freezing due to pixelated issues. Terrible! How do you bet on sports when the screens go out all the time!? Just tried to order food and add 1 topping to a pizza. Was told I could not add ANYTHING to a over the Rhine pizza. Wasnt trying to get it for free. Talked to a manager named Diane. She comped the pizza and made it good.

Every machine to cash in your ticket said it was out money. The ATM’s all worked just fine. I was wondering why the cashiers desk had such long lines every time I passed by there. Well it was because that’s the only place that you could cash in your ticket. I stood in line for over 40 minutes to cash in my ticket. Then I didn’t dare play another slot machine because if by chance I did win I wasn’t going to want to stand in those long lines again. So disappointed in the whole experience. First time there as Hard Rock Casino and I know Covid made things different but I won’t be going back there. The inconvenience to get a ticket cashed was enough for me. Not even as much as an apology for the long lines from the cashier. Instead they made you wait longer so they could clean the counter in between each customer. Really? The plexiglass wasn’t enough?
