This place is open and ready to serve with all regulations. Service was excellent and theater was almost empty.

I live closer to three other multiplexes and went to Regal Rancho Del Ray to meet a friend. I was incredibly impressed by this complex. First off, parking is incredibly easy. If using the parking garage, go to the very top level. There are loads of handicapped spaces. Their prices for tickets must be the lowest in the county. And they dont consider noon to be the cutting off mark for discounts (like some other theaters). The staff is friendly and keep an eye on the ticket sales lines. They readily open up another window if the line starts growing. The food is good and the seating is comfortable. I plan on putting this theater on the top of my list. Its that good

Huge theater complex. I dont remember how many theaters it has, but its a lot. Showing all the most popular current movies. Many show times per day, often starting at mid-morning. Large snack bar with everything you expect. Games galore. Lots of free parking. The ticket prices are very reasonable, especially for matinees. (But the snacks are not cheap!)

It was nice. The seats are comfortable. The prices are very good in my book. You cant beat a movie ticket for under $5 these days before 4pm. I Didnt have any food so i cant speak on those prices, but knowing movie theaters its all still over priced. Either way your family will enjoy the theater there!

Wonderful place. Absolutely love it. Always clean and great movies playing. Went to watch Avengers Endgame and it was the best movie Ive ever seen. Its also very affordable.

Great rates on tickets! Friendly service. Be ready to wait 20 minutes for every beer or alcoholic beverage you buy. Only 1 or 2 staff members are able to sell them at any given time. Other than that, its great.

Best prices Ive seen anywhere locally. Comfortable theater. Plenty of free parking. Nice, typical multiplex layout, plus its well-maintained. Great tasting popcorn, but like at most theaters these days, the concessions dont come cheap.

This is my favorite theater by far. They honestly make the best popcorn. Im a big time movie fan, but even more so a fan of popcorn. Seats are comfy and Ive never had it be dirty in the theatre. I go here usually once or twice a week.

The price for the movie is decent. Expect to wait in line for the concession for a long time even if its not that busy. Unfortunately we found out after the fact that you had to wait in line all over again for refills on items missing out on more of the movie unless you know ahead of time to request your refill at the time of purchase. Assistant Manager Alex said that they have brought it up to general manager and corporate but have been denied the ability to make a separate line for refills.

This place is pretty great! Great meal deals and movie deals! Its a Regal theater so rewards are great! We had the movie snack pack with soda. Yummy popcorn! We picked our seats and it wasnt crowded. Theater was clean and smelled good. The movie was clear and sound quality was good!

Im a movie buff and go here A LOT. The prices cant be beat. $4.75 for matinee and $7.25 after 4pm. New movies, small arcade with ice hockey and a huge pacman sit down game. They also have an area, you can reserve for birthday parties. The concessions can be a bit faster. One time I stood in line for about 12 minutes. All I wanted was a soda.

So, we were a little weirded out that the tickets were half priced compared to every other theatre, so the expectations were low. Turns out, the quality isnt any worse than standard theatres! The seats dont recline like the fancier ones, but who cares?! Its cheap and relatively clean!

Matinees are great! Theater always clean. Not too crowded and food not overly priced. Plus, they have beer!!! And, its not overpriced either. My spot. $5.75 is kool. I try to go weekly

This place felt run down a little. Still got to see the movie in a theater but it does feel like it hasnt been worked on since 2008. Floors are a little sticky but at the price it costs to see a movie here, you cannot be mad about a little outdated theater. Still have all the great movie going stuff...Popcorn, soda, nachos and it is still a movie theater but it is not new and not top notch (and that is not even comparing it to one of those luxury theaters).

Really love this place! Even though I don’t go here anymore, I still like the look of the area. It feels like I’m walking into a old theater from the 90s. I recommend everyone to go here!

I love this movie theater. Where can you go see a new released movie for $5.00. The popcorn is always fresh. Every seat is a good seat.

The seats are very dirty and I’m still concerned about the bed bug issue they had a few months ago. When I asked the person selling the tickets, I’d they fixed the bed bug problem and cleaned all their chairs, they told me they were not allowed to comment on the subject, this is alarming, they should of helped us feel at ease and just tell us if they cleaned every seat or not.

Its been 3 years since I went to the moviesI BELIEVE THIS PLACE is the best. they arenow serving wine and beer the menu is better.

Reserved seating thats a plus, but even with that, theres people who dont check their ticket and seat in a wrong place. , the theater is clean. Employees are nice most of the time , the only thing that i dont like is that you need to make line again for your refill, so, you missed a lot of your movie. So if they wanted to have their costumers happy. They should make a line only for refills. And it doesnt hurt to have more security️.

This movie theater has great prices for groups and a wide variety of food. Wish the seats were more comfortable and faster food service

Love this theater I live in Carlsbad but always drive down on a,Friday or Saturday to see a movie there, the other Regals arent as clean, or offer the early admission price, like they do, the only thing I dont like is the seat reservation system cuzz if you dont get there early enough sometimes you cant get adjoining seats so half the family are sitting one or two apart , when you do go in theres still a lot of,seats available and sometimes the whole row. other than that I am very happy with them also staff is,very polite, I can stay one thing they need to improve on is the censession stand, they need more counters open and perhaps, a express window for two to three prepared items only, Also I have been going there since they opened in the late 70s, never had,a bad experience,

Its a cinema. You come and watch your chosen show. Popcorn is so-so. Place is clean. Come here for matinee for best value.

Pretty cheap place to go if youre trying to watch a movie. Its pretty great place for the price. Food is pretty slow, (getting snacks goes faster),though so Id say give yourself 30 minutes before your movie starts or just grab it while the previews are on (A sin to miss them but you do you). Seats do recline back just enough so youre comfortable. Bathrooms are clean not messy at all. All in all movie theater is a good place but also def not above average with all the new gizmos movie theaters have now. But then again the price is awesome.

The Regal Movie Theater has always been one of my favorite locations to watch any movie for many years now. The atmosphere is always wonderful and the prices are the best compared to other movie theaters. I will continue going back again and again for an excellent movie experience!

The lines outside and at the snack bar moved in sloth speed. I actually missed the first part of my movie. My hands were full with drinks, popcorn and nachos and hot dogs, and they wanted me to show my ticket to get back in the theater. Im like, I spend $30 on food and try to sneak in a $5 movie?!!!?? Cmon another 5 min of the movie Im missing. I still like the place. I just need to be there an hour early to enjoy a movie. I was done!!!!

The place is decent, but for gods sake, if the movie is supposed to start 3:45, do it on time. 3 trailers top. Its 4:15 and the movie still hasnt started.

I like the price of the tickets $5.75 each.. but the place some times is pretty dirty specially on weekends. Other than that is ok.

Good place when you dont want to deal with mall/shopping plaza traffic or parking.Ticket prices very FAIR and reasonable. The Parking is very accessible and plenty of it! Snacks were decent, video games in lobby use cards just in case you dont have any loose change.. theater set up simple! rooms either on left or right side (no mazes here). Hosts were friendly.

The theater has very cheap tickets and snacks. The ambiance is reminiscent of a 90s cinema sans the thick scent of butter. Its no Cineopolis with fancy leather recliners or flair but if you can put all that aside and want to watch the latest films on the big screen for stupid cheap tickets and food then youve come to the right place.

Went to see a movie the volume wasnt too loud the price was great but there were too many adds before the movie started but enjoyed my experience and would go back if there is ever another movie I would like to see

This place has many amazing traits. Its arcade is wonderful and Ive played in it multiple times. Also the movies are of good quality and top notch. I love the fact that you can have birthdays here and spend time with many of your friends. The food is ok but better than nothing. I love it and it will always be a go too.

Good ticket pricing but the lines either at the ticket booth or concessions are pretty long and they have not figured out a way to make the process more efficient so it is always the problem. 30 minutes before the movie starts is like the norm if you want to be able to buy food and watch the movie, otherwise just the movie and no food or drink which is actually a loss on their part.

I always go here to the matinee. Its $4.75 before 4. They have a small arcade here my granddaughter loves. Plenty of parking. I like going to Rubios, next door

I do not get to go to the movies very often. It’s a special treat. Seriously got asked to pick my seats? Ok what? This is the SF Ballet, Broadway or a Rock concert. I get that you pick seats when the movie is brand new and it’s the opening day or week.The cashier/server was very rude and gave me a weird look .. when I asked why I was being charged more money when my coupon clearly stated you get a free popcorn. Usually you can pay the difference of a few bucks. But I got a dollar off. Which is good. But instead of paying a few dollars.. paid 8 dollars.I don’t think.. I’m coming back . I’ll wait until I either rent or buy the dvd. Same price

Watched Hobbs and Shaw here. The movie was cool, but I actually liked the food there too. I bought chicken tenders with criscut French fries. Overall nice experience.

First time to this theater and I was disappointed by how dirty the concession area and bathrooms were! Definitely not wanting to come back here!

Its clean, management is super nice and accommodating. We went on Sunday, were late for our showing due to rain and they changed it no problem. Seats are comfy.

I apologize for leaving a 1-star rating last time I think it was a mistake this is without a doubt the best movie theater in all San Diego County where I take my kids we love going here especially because of the great prices thank you guys for always providing us with an awesome movie night

The price is good, but the service was lacking. They charge high prices for what you get at the concession counter and they are super slow.

Movie Godzilla & theater were Great☆☆☆☆. But when I went to snack bar at least 5 workers were behind counter cleaning & talking. I waited.. 2 different customers came up to counter & were served refills. I finally walked up to associate (dressed mgr?) Id like to order. Weve been closed over an hour. U seen me standing at counter walked by me several times& didnt bother to say anything? As I walked by other assoc 2 were apologetic.Maybe an announcement snack bar is closing in __ min or CLOSED Sign so they can continue ignoring customer... -☆☆☆ for snack bar

Very nice staff which is the only reason it gets two stars...quality of the screens is less than surrounding theaters and the theater speakers isnt great. Please do not order your food or beverages before hand as their staff wont recognize the speed line for pickup. Stood there for about 20 minutes and then finally had to get into a regular line and wait another ten minutes

Great movie theater that has long been a staple of movie watching in Chula Vista, definitely would recommend for watching a movie with family or a special someone.

This is my go to theater. I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years it is always well kept. Bathrooms are clean as well. The seats are extremely comfortable. You can’t beat the prices either. They also accept tickets bought through Atom which makes the ticket buying process 10x easier. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Seats smelled gross. Needs upgrades in theater room. The entrance is Grand and you expect it to be nicer.

New releases, comfortable seatting, great prices, No bedbugs!! Pleasant Management, Been coming here for years.

Prices are great in morning. eat before you get there. The only draw back now is you have to choose your seat.

The overall movie theater was good, but the concession stand takes WAY to long!! I was standby in line for 45 mins and the lady at the cash register was so slow!! And she was standing in the back of the popcorn maker filling and emptying the cup at least 5 TIMES! As if we couldn’t see her. Not to mention that the manager didn’t do anything like open a new line even though almost everyone in that line notified him about a problem. I recommend bringing you own snack because there’s are a waist of time and too expensive.

I liked that is was a small theater, more intimate. The only downside is that it wasnt cleaned very well in between showings. It did have a great parking structure just for the theater though which was really cool, so plenty of parking. The prices were awesome compared to other theaters. Tuesday was a great day to see a new movie. Get the rewards online and you get even more discounts at the concession stand.All in all a great night at the movies.

Slowly becoming one of my favorite movie theaters. It has arcade games, serves awesome foods, and even alcohol now. And it is the cheapest theater in Chula Vista.

Facility is a bit outdated, but service is courteous and fast as compared to other local theatres. Prices are good and parking plentiful. For the most part it was clean. Not easily visible from the street. Would consider returning.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! This company creates an app so I can conveniently add my sons birthday gift cards he received. But I can only purchases tickets online. They are behind the times and dont allow me to use said gift cards to make purchases at the concession stand. I was repeatedly told to read the fine print of the gift card, to be used as cash. Then why make a app that allows for gift card storage. I can pay from my app for AMC, for Starbucks, and many other establishments. I feel as though regal does this to steal money from their customers because it is a hassle for us to call them for complaint. Never have a felt more cheated than I did here at Reagal. Buyer beware! They do not care about their customers. They only care about money. And it shows in how poorly maintained their facilities are. I have no desire to go back.

Great place for an affordable movie. I used to love getting all the jalapenos I wanted. But, now they give you small cups which is a bummer with my nachos. But, they do let me have several small cups of them ..lol

My favorite theater! One the few places you can still watch movies for less than $10! Not a fan of the new seating arrangement. They recently added adult beverages, so thats a bonus.

Prices are fair and the snacks are incredible! I come here to get my nacho cheese fix whether or not anything good is playing. Decent game room too.

I havent been to the movies without paying in awhile, so I had a bit of sticker shock when I took my 2 boys this afternoon. For a matinee & the 3 of us it cost $20. For a medium popcorn, 3 small sodas the total was a whopping $30. The popcorn was dry, & the sodas were over carbonated. The seats were your average, upright, afford no comfortably chairs. This theatre was dirty, meaning looked as if it hadnt been cleaned in awhile..Cannot believe I spent $50, anticipating the end of the movie so we could go. Not likely Ill return to this theater. If I have to spend that type of money, my chairs better recline, the popcorn better be fresh with butter, & sodas taste like sodas. Also, while leaving there was a car smushed next to mine, permeating weed with 5 kids inside.SMH

Very dirty, from bathrooms to theatres. Food, popcorn everywhere. No one cleans or stalks anything. Now that theres liquor its worse. Dont go there anymore.

AWFUL service. They took so long that the movie i got 30 minutes early for started. food was BAD. And our seats where taken. I wouldnt of even given 1 star but i can rate any lower than that.

They had one e ticket scanner that worked and we were getting there after the previews started and they had just started to walk away from that group of theaters entrance when we walked up. It had loud unaccompanied teenagers in a R rated movie that required concentration that the kids couldnt do for more than 2 minutes. My second and last visit. The prices were great but parents used it as a babysitter. Im not planning on going back. Its worth the extra 3 dollars to go someplace quiet.

Love this theater! I always come here because they’re so affordable. However, knocked two stars off because of their extremely slow snack bar. Like I worked at a theater and we would’ve been fired for working so slow. It’s like they take their time heavily and not in a good productive way. Please train your staff to pick up the pace. I’ve had the same complaint for years about the slowness of snack-bar.
