A nice place to gather for a cook out(bring grill), chill with a friend, fish, take a walk, or have a wedding. Insect repellent is a must being close to the river. If the city built a nice playground, installed grills near the pavilions and around the park, placed a few more adult swings, with canopies around the grounds, off the trail . The park would probably draw the attention of more people, day and night.

We loved this park! It has beautiful landscapes and an incredible view of the river. The restroom facility was top- notch and very clean. The park planners even provided solar-powered charging stations on some of the benches. I wish we had a park like this near our home!

I love walking through here. The calming waters are very soothing.

It is so beautiful and peaceful , I could set there and listen to the water and birds all day , and a bald eagle graced us with his presence .

I think the new addition has been great and you can tell the downtown area is starting to flourish more. With such events as Movie Night for kids and Music by the water during the summer. It truly is making a great impact on our community and bringing everyone together. It is a must stop at spot.

Beautiful! Such a lovely area for gatherings. Went for a music event and was very pleased. Sat on the ledge of a fountain further back from the stage and still enjoyed the music a lot. Nice public restrooms and within walking distance of a lot of little great places.

Love it. Live across the street. Very beautiful view. Its even beautiful when it floods. Many love to stop and watch it at this time. Beautiful. Me and my companion dog walk on the trail almost every day. Thank you.

Its a great multi use facility that showcases the natural scenic beauty of the river; the perfect use for land that was otherwise an eyesore on the citys front door step.

It was wonderful! Lots of seating space. Beautiful view. There were 2 different food trucks and Olsen ice cream was there. Nice new clean restrooms.

Great dam view

If a child rides his bike to this park, and doesnt arrive home, he may have disappeared behind this retaining wall, having innocently stopped to see a fish, or toss a coin in the water. Just to stand on the grass behind this retaining wall could be dangerous. An adult carrying a child, could lose two lives at once. While it provides beauty to some, its a real eyesore for others. There were business places that had a view of the river for many years, that have had their view obstructed, and destroyed forever by the buildings (toilets no less) built between them and the river. I see that as thoughtless also.

Pretty average, does have some decent amenities for those that visit however

Nice place to bike skate or walk a dog

It is really nice. Great view of the river. This area used to be an eye sore and this really makes the area look inviting. I LOVE that its part of the bike trail system and I frequent the area on my bicycle. Can be a bit watery in the spring, but local maintenance always has the area cleaned up and ready to go when the water retreats. Only big issue I have with the park is the lack of parking area. The lot is very small and hard to navigate. Only other parking options are in town, and they arent much better.
