This great totem pole is right on the north end of the Chicago Lake Front trail. The details and coloring vibrant and worthy of an up close viewing. It does have a fence around it, so you aren’t able to actually touch it or pose right beside it. I recommend.

Great meeting spot for bike rides and runs. Just south of the parking lot and tennis courts. One draw back, the new lakefront running has the southbound run lane cross the bike lane a few meters from here.

This totem pole was brought to Chicago. Its a real pole, its tragic about the history of Indian removal in Illinois.

Got my Totem Pole fix. I dont know where else in Chicago you can go to worship Pagan gods, so this place suits nicely.
