Nice skate park right under the highway. I like that its under shade, not in the direct sun. The kids love it, although you gotta watch out for other skaters and I had to teach them to take turns rather than hogging up high traffic areas and getting in others way.

This is a good skate park. it has a lot of things to do and many ramps. can be used by vert and street skaters alike. scooters and longboards are also pretty welcome here, as long as they follow etiquette. went here for the summer learn to skate workshop over a year, and learned lots pf things, including pumping up and down the ramps. now, i can ollie and im learning to kickflip. this really got me into skating and im happy i ended up doing it.

Honestly, this park is okay. Great set up, lots of variety but it has two major issues. The state of disrepair all the obstacles are in is atrocious. I feel like I could get injured at anytime from a stay crack or broken ramp face. The other issue is the bird feces. There are tons of pigeons in the i-beams over the park and that leads to solid piles of gunk on the ground. Its not only gross, and maybe unhealthy, its kills your skateboard bearings. The city needs to put up some anti-pigeon sounds up there and fix up this park. If they did that, itd be one of the best parks in the city.

One of the most unique parks around. A lot to do here. Ramps arent perfect but they do a good job.

Nice variety of obstacles for various skill levels. Big and small Boxes with flat and curved ramps, big and little spine, 3/4 bowl, low rails (good imo), street and vert obstacles. Only con was that there is a fair amount of bird poop around- Chicago public works needs to do a better job of cleaning/sanitizing the park so skaters dont fall in bird poop when the eventual fall happens.

Needs some upkeep but it’s a fun park.

Pretty nice little skate park. A bit noisy due to being right below the highway, but a good/creative use of the space.

Good place to do dounuts

This is a last resort sort of place. Its covered in pigeon droppings which will get on your griptape. The layout is awkward and poorly constructed in addition to the wood rot and rust. I honestly cant recommended it but if its raining it will keep you dry.

Chill skate park. Busy, but not too crowded. All types of people hang here, from families with young kids to more serious skaters. A little dirty due to its location under the Kennedy and the pigeons that live nearby.

Was with my daughter. Seen the big hand coming out of the ground had to go back around so we could take some pics. It was pretty cool. Will go back again when i get back to Chicago. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Nice little park

Only positive aspect about this park is that its somewhat covered.With that being said, its been ignored for years by the City and has completely fallen into disrepair. The coping has separated on the transition, there are holes in the ramps, etc.The layout was decent at best when it was first built (who needs a 6 kinked hubba down a fun box?) and has only gotten progressively worse.This park needs an overhaul.

Wonderful hidden skate park in what would normally be wasted space. Usually very quiet, great for beginners.

Some coping sticks out, but other than that its pretty good for a diy style. Good transitions. Also there was a dude smoking weed so stay with your kids if theyre young.

Pretty chill spot. Lots of skating styles some good bmxrs and a few guys that rip on scooter. I broke my foot here skating though..stupid chris

Very good place for young bucks to show off all their elite skating skills.

I love the art installation. The ample lighting is great for night boarding. The graffiti everywhere makes me happy. I took my kids (9 and 6) there on a very busy night and it worked out well. It has a very positive atmosphere. Even the graffiti is positive. There are also a lot of really talented skateboarders and BMXers chillin there each time Ive gone.

Pretty koo spot

Great park, covered so when it is raining you can still skate. The ramps are a little dated but overall is a great [place to kick around. There is a dog park across the street, so when I go skate my wife takes the dog to the park. If you havent been now is a good time to check it out. Even on the weekends there seems to be room to have fun.

This place used to be great. The park is becoming extremely disgusting.This city needs to hose it down! There is so much bird s*** you better not fall in it.Also the ramps are degrading. The manual pad cracked on one side. The quarter pipes are coming apart. Isnt there someone to maintain this place? It just needs to be hosed down every couple weeks.At this rate, I dont what will be of this place. Its nasty and falling apart. Used to be a good park.

Dont leave your belongings in your car. I was at the skate park for one hour on a weekday afternoon and someone smashed my window and stole my backpack.

One of the best skateparks in the city. Under a bridge so I can skate in the rain. Dont know how people are commenting saying its filthy...its a skatepark what do you expect? Lol...this place got a real dope chicago vibe theres some dope artwork along the ramps too

Thats a great place where everyone can enjoy from the oldest to the younger kids GREAT place of a skateboard park.

Love this park one of my favorite places to skate. -1 star cause its filthy. Bird poop is everywhere people leave cans around but if your going there to test your metal on obstacles you may not see on the street youll have a great time

This park has a lot of potential but it has not been taken care of and is extremely dirty. It’s a shame because it could be great if it was cleaned and taken care of on a regular basis.

Excellent skatepark

Saw a local teen drinking a Mountain Dew. He seemed fairly gnarly.

Can be dirty and sometimes theres garbage laying around. ramps get slippery because of dust, but its still ridable. The water fountain was full of birdshit , fun setup to air

Vert vert vert. A box and a few rails.

Its usually dirty and slippery but the ground is smooth, theres stuff to skate and its nice to have a place lit up at night! Check it out!
