This place has potential but the transitions need to be redone, they are completely unskateable and the concrete is pretty rough and slow. It is obvious this park was not designed by skateboarders.

At first glance it looks like a fantastic, medium size park. Bowls, quarter pipes, wedges, walls hubus, rails, a giant three block, manual pads, flat bars and a ridiculously tall and pointy speed hump. But, look close in that second image... this park was not built by a company that makes skate parks. The joints are massive, even in the bottom of bowls... right at the bottom of the transition, a 1 inch gap that may or may not be filled with some squishy putty. The surface is slow and rough. I actually left the park and tested the blacktop of the bike path to see if it was just me or my bearings or my wheels... nope this surface is inappropriate for skate park construction! You might say I’m just sore since I dropped in on that delightful little pool, But instead of carving my way around the deep end, I flew headfirst into the bottom of the deep when my board didn’t roll when I dropped in. You’d be right! I am sore, and bleeding a little bit.

It would be a totally sick park if the ground was actually smooth. Theres a bunch of purposeful cracks in the ground. Kinda like a puzzle. It has mostly transition, ramps, and ledges. Great for bikes and bigger wheels. Not so good for regular skateboard wheels. Pretty quiet besides the cars going past but eventually it turns into white noise.

Its amazing location. not sure if theres better parking. seems a bit hard to get too. no restroom near by. its a neat skate park. not the best surface.

Not really worth going. Cement is cracking and coping on ledges are falling apart. Transitions are really steep and hard to ride for any sport. What they call quarter pipes are really rough and steep. The nearest parking is down the road that you have to pay for. Your better off going downtown and riding the Grant Skate Park. I was pretty disponted with this park.

Aggressively shaped, some steep spots, but overall a decent shred. Ledges at a moderate height, interesting bowls and post I also, all concrete and metal coping. Worth the lsd hike!

Took my son there with his friend and had to throw out 2 dead field mice from the deep end of the pool. How gross

Great little park that doesnt attract that big of crowd. The concrete could use some love though.Keep your belongings safe. I put my phone down to do a quick run and had it stolen in plain daylight sitting on a bench next to my bag.

The concrete here is rough and has pretty big cracks. You have be good to skate this park how it was meant to be skated. Come here if you want to skate where its never busy.

I didnt have a chance to try out my bike. There was a sign that said no biking which sucks. It looked fun but the rules were bad.

Great place to skate by lake michigan. This skatepark is close to the lake so you can go skate and your family and friends can walk the boardwalk by the water of lake michigan. The obstacles are good but they used cracks in the cement for water drainage and there are large cracks at the beginning of the jump areas, so be cautious you dont get stuck in a rut, but the park has a small bowl and other cool obstacles.
