First experience: First hookah spot I’ve visited in Chicago and was very welcoming. The staff was exceptional and on top of things making the rounds changing the coals often.Second experience: Got skipped while waiting an hour on the list with my family from out of town.

The service & staff was amazing! Very comfortable atmosphere and the owner was flexible enough to switch out my flavors when I didn’t like what I originally chose. 10/10 would go again!

Because my friend doesnt wanna get this establishment in trouble, Ima skip the heavier stuff and just review off what happened that night. Went on Saturday, missed our call for a table by a couple mins after waiting over an hour and they didnt honor our spot. Put our names down for a table again, was told a 20-30 mins wait. They never called (bad business). Didnt look to have any COVID precautions (no temperature checks, etc) in such a small space beyond barely social distancing. Skip it if you dont wanna wait and have the wait list honored. Went to Prince Hookah the next night, got a seat immediately, good social distancing and had quick service.

My wife and I had a good time here. Its a chill hookah lounge that offers BYOB for $5 per person. They have a good assortment of flavors, fruit bowls, and candy mouth pieces for extra flavor.Even on a Tuesday the place nearly filled around 9, but they didnt rush us out and let us take our time. Have been waiting to come to this place for a long time and will hopefully be back again soon.

We are from out of town and drove an hour to this place for them to tell us there’s a waitlist once we got there even though we called an hour before getting there and no mention of a waitlist. Waitlist due to Covid (max 15 customers) and there was only 6-7 people. And the owner has a ugly attitude.

I love that House of Hookah is BYOB but their corkage fee has gone up to $5 per person. They also require you to purchase 1 hookah for every 2 people and only give you an hour to use it. It used to be a really cool hole in the wall place my friends and I liked to go to but the prices are a bit ridiculous now.

Great service. The hookah always comes out quickly, even when it’s busy. It’s a chill vibe - fit for everyone. If it’s not busy, try getting floor seating by the windows or walls. It’s comfortable.

Pineapple and Mila Kunis can’t go wrong! Ron is awesome he definitely makes you feel like you are home. The music has you bobbing your head while relaxing with all the other patrons. So many different choices with different strengths. The milkshakes are off the chain!

Edited review: Initially I gave this place 3 stars for not serving tap water (bottled water is unnecessary and wasteful). However am changing my review to 5 stars based off of my last visit. The guys who work here are awesome, and so too are the customers. Expect some great conversations!

This is the best hookah bar in Chicago hands down. Ive been to almost all the hookah bars in Chicago amd the surrounding region. The atmosphere is here is really chill and laid back. There is a great selection of shish. There is a flavor for everyone to enjoy. They also sell hookahs and the accessories to go with them. I highly recommend you check this place out. Who knows you might even sot next to a celebrity!

I love this place. Need to offer 2 hours instead of 70 minutes. The time goes by too fast. By the time you sit down and get situated 30 minutes has already passed.

Went their with couple of friends. Had two hookah that really sucked bad. They didn’t know how to make hookah and the morrocan tea wasn’t authentic and was very weak. No mint leaves and no tea pot. Expensive and not worth the price. I won’t be going there again.

Definitely do not recommend if your trying to enjoy a good hookah with some privacy . The place was the size of my kitchen. We sat with a group of strangers, we were very uncomfortable. We were bumping legs. Had no privacy at all. Also, the chairs were dining room chairs. The hookah was literally burnt!! We left after literally 20 mins of the hookah arriving. Horrible experience! Don’t waste your time or money!!

The hookah here has a time limit of around 70min and the flavors here are amazing and last a while.Every time I visit the place, I take home a few flavors. Paan Raas and OMG (Orange, Mango Guava) are my favorite. If you like high nicotine flavors, do try the Kashmir Peach flavor.They take good care the hookah there. Some flavors come with coconut coal, and others with regular coal. They do offer fruit heads for an additional cost.

Ive been going to this place for almost 5 years and even if i wasnt a regular I must honestly say its the best hookah lounge in Chicago. The staff is friendly and fun to talk to and the environment is really chill. Almost any type of flavor you can think of and they are also the only place I know of that sells tangiers. If youre going to buy for smoking at home the selection is great and they even sell HJ bowls and tangiers bowls as well as heat management devices like the apple on top. Like I said this is the best lounge in Chicago and the only one i would ever recommend

The atmosphere was dope! A lot of hookah flavors I liked..... Problems that I had with the place was it’s so clustered and it’s hard to really move around.... and you only have 70 minutes to smoke... I’m a hookah smoker so I like to have at least 2 hours to smoke.... and I also wouldn’t advise no one to bring a non-smoker because they will charge you... and people that drives I wouldn’t advise you to drive there.... and Uber or Lyft would be better! BYOB By the way even though they charge you $5 for that too!

Fairly small place with some uncomfortable seating but great hookah flavors, the famous fruit bowl hookah and the lolipop mouth tip. Its BYOB but you have to purchase the chaser. They take cash or card.

Chill lil vibe wasnt too comfortable when the greeter encouraged me to sit across from a couple I didnt know. I came in alone which was super awkward when I sat across from them. Like literally two mins later the girl was pushing me out saying she had more people coming to join so I was forced to sit at a table. Im used to booths or at least like a lounge type setting. I felt like I was sitting waiting for a date that was never going to show. The hookah flavors were bomb hands down. Still a cool place I would recommend!

This place is pretty small. A bit cramped when it gets busy. But if you’re looking for a hookah bar in the city, it does the trick. Otherwise you’ll have to drive a bit to find another decent hookah bar.

Very cozy, and I recommend the Love Potion. Can be pricey, but its worth the experience, especially with good friends or family.

So I am not from chicago and dont understand being charged for not smoking?!?! This is a tiny place and you have a limit for smoking hooka. I understand that from a business stand point but not so much from a customer. They serve food here as well so its like restaurants saying u only have x amount of time to eat. Anyways it was a byob so we brought vodka and soda. I mean its cheaper to buy a hooka cause u gotta bring your own drinks too. So as a tourist dont go cause lets be honest we dont carry our own liquor around. Oh and I ordered coffee there not that great

Friendly environment and service, good tea but bad hookah. It burns out fast (about 15-20mins) and the flavor was not as good compared to average places. Bit expensive for the quality too.

1 Star for the location and 1 Star for the fast service, that’s all it it can get. The place is very small and they’re trying to fit as many as possible, which makes sense from a business standpoint, but that also means one wrong move you can drop a hooka and Cole on few people around you, it’s very tight. We had a lemon mint hooka and Double apple. The double Apple was average however the lemon mint was really bad, it had some mint taste, associated with some weird “old tobacco” taste, maybe different batch is better but who knows.I also posted a pic of our check, not because it was wrong but it’s because they refused to check again on the math, I tried every way possible to get to that number but I couldn’t, no tip was included in this bill but we tipped anyways, pay the servers what they deserve but owner not getting our business again

Talk about customer service! Each one of those associates who work there are well knowledgeable of the product they sell. These folks not only have hookah cafe but you can also buy hookah’s and these folks make their own hookah flavors. I will definitely be returning here for all my hookah needs. Thanks y’all

A dope spot and the first hookah bar Ive been to to feature bean bag and floor seats. Its gives the place a much more casual fun vibe that I havent seen at any other hookah spots.

I will not go to another hookah bar ever again. This one sold me. The manager here is awesome, so are the staff. Very accommodating. I had a serious incident where right after I had ordered a fruit head hookah and some teas with a friend, had to rush out after about 2 minutes with an emergency. We later came in and was offered a deal from the manager because he was so nice and understanding. Their flavors are amazing, they actually give you what you ask for unlike every other hookah bar that takes advantage of your lack of knowledge on tobacco tastes and brands. If theyre out of something, they tell you and recommend something else instead of mixing random flavors and lying. Atmosphere is SO CHILL and vibes are great. Ive also never had such an amazing quality hookah before in my life. Usually other places its harsh or burns quick. Its so smooth here because theyre so knowledgeable on how to build their hookahs properly. My spot!

One of the only places in Lakeview that you can smoke Hookah indoors. There is a 90 minute limit, but when it got busy, they politely asked us to leave after about 45 min. Its also BYOB.

The service and staff was great, but the space was way smaller than i had anticipated. The staff tried to make sure everyone was seated and had their hookah, but the space was just a little cramped.

They have all your hookah and Dohka needs. So few smoke shops in chicago sell dokah and they have big bottles. Staff is extra friendly and very helpful
