Its a very interesting place. MAKE! Chicago is community workshop and learning center where you can work with others and members can use the onsite equipment for their own projects. I attended a woodworking class to make a cutting board. The class material was presented with great detail and there were lots of tools available. The teacher was awesome. Ill have to check this place out again.

My wife and I did a pallet bench class a few months ago. It was so much fun, and a great way to feel like youre an actual woodworker for a day. They have actual woodworking classes as well.

Did an intro to woodworking class. Had lots of fun making a cutting board with friends and learned the basics of woodworking and learning measurements when you go to buy wood. Wish we had more time working on the actual cutting board because everyones at different levels some might use and free up the machines quicker than others.

Joseph is very helpful and they have all the woodworking tools you need to get the job done.
