This review is not about the nice gentleman who I purchased from. He was great! It is 5:15PM on Valentine’s Day 2020 when I called to ask about a product that I bought Doc Johnson’s Mood for her. When I called, the guy working who again was not the guy who waited on me, I asked him a question about the product regarding it being edible or not. He literally hung up on me. As a customer, I do not wish to be treated like I was. Please speak to him about his customer service skills. Aside from that the experience was good. Great job to the tall black man who waited on me. YOU ROCK!

I would give them no stars if I could the worst over priced place to go. They charged me twice the amount. Never shop here.

They had a decent selection of items and when I was walking past I saw a dress In the window that I wanted. But when I went in the man who was working was unbelievably rude. I asked where I could find and and he says “right in front of you” ..... it was a completely different item. I told him it wasn’t the same item and he replies “well it’s the same material but I don’t have anything in that color or that style”. He didn’t offer to get the dress from the window or if I needed help with anything else. Never going back. I highly recommend The Alley that is literally across the street and has both men and women employees all of which where super nice and friendly and not judgment the AT ALL.

The person working on Thursday June 18 was so incredibly rude. They were annoyed I stopped in and even more annoyed when I had a question, all I needed was a min of their time. I’m still taken aback on how blatantly rude this person was. Maybe this person had a bad day, but based on other reviews this is a common theme.

This was my first time in a sex shop and immediately upon arriving, the bald employee behind the counter asks what we’re doing there and asks to see our ID’s despite both being 24 and no one else that came in being carded. I tried looking around the shop, although it felt like the employee was watching my friend and I closely. There was too much tension in the air and after five more minutes we left. There were a lot of things I wanted to learn about, but unfortunately the employee seemed bothered by anyone walking in and it was not the atmosphere I wanted to be in.

I havent been here in years decided to come back a few days ago. Had something plan that night with my boyfriend so i forgot the name of the guy who helped me but he was a sweetheart. He educated me on some different source of Lube. He was amazing. Im surprised that is only 3 stars for this store. I always experienced great customer service there. Will be back again!!

Been here a number of times way back when and was excited to return but was greeted by a passive-aggressive salesman who clearly had better things to do. When I finally found the line of toys I was looking to purchase I was upsold on a $300.00 unit. When asked for a cheaper option I was told the only thing cheaper was a $100 unit that had been opened so many times the box was barely holding together. If you have a policy that forbids returns after a box has been opened or a product has been touched/used than why are you selling items that have been opened by a number of patrons & costumers alike? Found the same product for $30 on Amazon Prime (-) the air of superiority from a sex shop employee. Sad to see my favorite shop sink so low especially since the old employees were full of knowledge & happy to share it.No over exaggerations here. The product i wanted capped at 300 with tax and lowest came to 110 and some change (also) I was told explicitly by your employee that ...sometimes people want to see the product... so Im very aware it had nothing to do with your shipment. Just a slew of random hands touching a sex toy your trying to sell at full price.

There are some places that are better visited than called. Like this one, a place that caters to discriminating adult tastes. Definitely a small venue.Walls packed with accessories, aids, adult toys. Also accessories for non-tobacco usage. My South Park characters with ice chute accessories I found here, back when this was just down from The Alley. Always was a fun place when you are in the mood for something definitely out of the mainstream. They have a selection of BDSM wear in a variety of sizes. Large selection of toys you might want to try with your partner or significant other if youre both feeling frisky. Just as long as the ground rules & safe words are clear & understood. Sexual fulfillment is about pleasure, sharing, mutual gratification. Anything else needs specifics. (Even people living that lifestyle want those rules. Look at the NIMH boards). Sometimes its hard to state what merchandise you are looking for if you dont know specifics on the phone. Thats why its better to browse in person. I never had a problem with having a question answered here. Ask questions without fear of embarassment. LGBTQ friendly. They do tend to take things seriously here. Adults & those over 18 years old only.

Went in to look around, the guy behind the counter basically kicked us out because we didnt have anything spacefic we were looking for. I mean I get it, I guess, but thats fine. Ill just take my business to Taboo taboo. Im not going in looking for something spacefic, but when I see something I want, Im going to get it. I was excited too, since the store isnt a big brand, you can usually find good stuff in those. I gave it 2 stars,because it is a local place and the inside looked fun, just the service was rude.

I called over the phone and told the guy i was throwing a bachelorette party and needed a blow up penis. He assured me he had one. My friend that lives close stopped in and bought it. When she brought it to me that same day we realized it was NOT a blow up penis it was an inflatable breakup bopper u punch when ur mad? I called the guy back and asked if i could please return it and it was 30$ and now its no use to me. He said there was no way i could exchange it or return it. I get that u cant return the sex toys i totally get that! But this is a plastic bopper u punch. Never opened box and it was expensive! I feel totally robbed! Never go here! Poor customer service.

Dont waste your time here!!!!! This place is SHADY and HORRIFICALLY OVERPRICED. I bought a prostate stimulator that was priced at over $200 when the owner convinced me this was a standard and competitive price. Then I immediately found the EXACT same item in the exact same packaging online after I left on multiple websites including the ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER for less than 50 dollars. What a rip off!! I went back right away to return it completely unopened and very obviously unopened with the receipt, and I was told I could not return it. I was told nothing about the no return policy at the time of purchase. Thus, in short, NEVER go to this place. Any place the upcharges that much is clearly looking to rip people off. Just look for whatever you want online because you will probably find it for 80% less money. The manager was also kind of a dick and totally unsympathetic and stone-faced, like hes used to people complaining about the same thing. Which just further speaks to how ripping people off is likely just a normal part of their business that they could care less about. When I told him that I found the item online for so much less money, his response was well everyone knows that. What a slimy douche bag!!

Staff is polite and well-informed without being crude, excellent service, great prices, and a convenient location. Dont let the one-star reviews turn your mind, this place is GREAT.

The girls there are really nice and the tall slender man with funky glasses is really cool but the that little guy they sometimes have perched behind the counter acts annoyed and bothered if you interrupt his smart phone time. Ive been in there before and this guy is never pleasant. Hes snippy rude and borderline psychotic. I wouldnt recommend going into this store on Monday afternoons. He needs to be fired. He is never polite. Never. Just an awful personality.

Called trying to find a dick balloon as a gag for a friends birthday. Employed on the phone told me they carry them. I asked about price, he informed me that he can not discuss prices over the phone. I said it would be a little out of my way to drive 10 miles and find out that the price is too much I want to pay for a balloon. He told me too bad.Terrible customer service.

The owner is anti-LGBT, specifically anti-transgender, even though he sells transsexual porn. Thats the biggest problem here. Other than that, theres a pretty limited selection of stuff, and they overcharge for everything. Go anywhere else.

This place has terrible service, the employees couldnt answer simple questions for me and they were really rude. They didnt know much about any of their products. Ive been to better stores. Taboo Taboo definately has a more friendly enviorment.
