When we visited here this Spring there was some construction work going on there. But we could take some pictures and drive around the Capitol building. We also spent sometime in the nearby areas. A great location with so much of historical importance. This is the capitol Building of the equality state Wyoming. It was a good experience !

Typical dome style architecture for a state capitol building. At the time of my visit, looked like a restoration project was underway. I was a tourist as I was passing through to Casper to see the solar eclipse. I am visiting every state capitol. As you can see from the pictures, its a beautiful capitol building. Well worth the visit!

This could quite possibly be the grandest structure in the State of Wyoming. Rich in history with its architecture as well as its political history. At the time these photos were taken the structure was being rehabilitated. These photos show the nearly completed scaffolding as they prepare to repair and replace badly damaged areas in and on the dome.
